However I get sick of the companys cutting games in half and then charging you to purchase the FULL game after you already purchased what you believed was the FULL game. Unbelievable. They did the same thing with Minecraft story mode. So you basically end up buying the same game twice to get the complete edition. If they would have announced the complete editions release date, I would have waited for the full version, and NOT purchased the first release of this game only to find out that it was not the complete game. I feel its a rip off. However, the FULL version of this game is good. My kiddos love it and I absolutely love the graphics, story line, and creepiness of this game. The FULL version or complete edition game is worth it, but make sure its the FULL game before you purchase. Audio quality is clear, and it is the most comfortable headset that Ive ever owned. The ear cups do a good job of canceling noise out as well. The microphone works great also, however a plastic piece broke off of it, leaving an exposed wire and a shaky, unstable mic. Take a look at the attached picture if you want to see exactly what Im talking about. I have contacted Kingston customer service asking them to replace the mic since this headset comes with a 2 year warranty and am currently waiting to hear back from them. I will update my review, and depending on how they handle this issue change my rating to either 1 or 5 stars. Update: Kingston replaced the mic for free under warranty. They sent it with 2 day shipping and didnt even require me to send the broken part back. For me as a live streamer on Twitch.tv I need two things for long gaming sessions headset wise: Comfort and Quality. These are by far the most comfortable headset I have ever worn. The design is sleek and it is WELL made. Most headsets nowadays come with leatherette ear cups and I CANT STAND IT. So I was happy to see the HyperX Cloud had replaceable Velour Ear Cushions. (the cloth ones) That was a huge plus for me. The soft leather band on the headset makes your skull feel like you are in HEAVEN. Too many headset makers dont care much for the pressure a headset puts on your noggin. HyperX does. I have had these 2 months prior to the recent release and not one sign of wear, and trust me I have a HUGE head. Now for sound. 53MM Drivers. This is better then most out there. And it is obvious in the sound. I play World of Warcraft and other MMOs, and let me tell you the sounds I can now hear that I couldnt before. The sound is so much clearer you wonder how the hell you tolerated your previous headset. The Aluminum build gives the Cloud a great shape and shows that HyperX cares about the longevity of their products. If you want comfort and quality sound this is your headset. And at $99? Yeah its worth it. I wanted to have the stereo version since my creative fatal1ty is now 2 yrs old. Just felt like having an update. Using the 3.5mm jacks for headphones and microphone i was able to utilize my onboard asus sound card with crystal sound 2.0 same as the creative, but sure its stereo - however when configured right you can pinpoint location pretty well. The HyperX Cloud is just as comfy as the Cloud II. Great build quality i feel with them. Love the white and black color - its looks clean and crisp and now also matches my new rig which is an artic white corsair 760t. Sound - it is a step up to the creative - good lows, mids n highs and good base. in games it is not too boomy or bassy but has just the right amount for the explosions in a game like battlefield 4 - but does not hinder you from pinpointing sound. I love it so far - just wore it for 8+ hrs straight gaming and didnt have a problem. If Kingston reads this review - please see the review i put in for the HyperX Cloud II and why i gave it a 2 stars. all the info is there. If you can make a Kingston HyperX Cloud III based on the constructive criticism i have for the Cloud II and have it to where you have the best of both worlds of the Original and the II esp in white or pink, i will definitely buy those when they drop. The sound quality is excellent, seems to be well made, (although I havent owned it for very long yet) and I have no problems with the microphone quality. I was pleasantly surprised at how many adapters HyperX included without additional cost. It came with multiple AUX extender cables (the ones with a mic and speaker jack) plus a 2-to-1 standard AUX adapter. One of the extender cables included a nice volume adjustment box. They even included a replacement pair of earphone pads, which were a soft cloth material. The ones that come on the headset are a leather-like material, so I guess HyperX wanted us to have the option. They also included a travel case for the headset. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Audio quality is clear, and it is the most comfortable headset that Ive ever owned. The ear cups do a good job of canceling noise out as well. The microphone works great also, however a plastic piece broke off of it, leaving an exposed wire and a shaky, unstable mic. Take a look at the attached picture if you want to see exactly what Im talking about. I have contacted Kingston customer service asking them to replace the mic since this headset comes with a 2 year warranty and am currently waiting to hear back from them. I will update my review, and depending on how they handle this issue change my rating to either 1 or 5 stars. Update: Kingston replaced the mic for free under warranty. They sent it with 2 day shipping and didnt even require me to send the broken part back. For me as a live streamer on Twitch.tv I need two things for long gaming sessions headset wise: Comfort and Quality. These are by far the most comfortable headset I have ever worn. The design is sleek and it is WELL made. Most headsets nowadays come with leatherette ear cups and I CANT STAND IT. So I was happy to see the HyperX Cloud had replaceable Velour Ear Cushions. (the cloth ones) That was a huge plus for me. The soft leather band on the headset makes your skull feel like you are in HEAVEN. Too many headset makers dont care much for the pressure a headset puts on your noggin. HyperX does. I have had these 2 months prior to the recent release and not one sign of wear, and trust me I have a HUGE head. Now for sound. 53MM Drivers. This is better then most out there. And it is obvious in the sound. I play World of Warcraft and other MMOs, and let me tell you the sounds I can now hear that I couldnt before. The sound is so much clearer you wonder how the hell you tolerated your previous headset. The Aluminum build gives the Cloud a great shape and shows that HyperX cares about the longevity of their products. If you want comfort and quality sound this is your headset. And at $99? Yeah its worth it. I wanted to have the stereo version since my creative fatal1ty is now 2 yrs old. Just felt like having an update. Using the 3.5mm jacks for headphones and microphone i was able to utilize my onboard asus sound card with crystal sound 2.0 same as the creative, but sure its stereo - however when configured right you can pinpoint location pretty well. The HyperX Cloud is just as comfy as the Cloud II. Great build quality i feel with them. Love the white and black color - its looks clean and crisp and now also matches my new rig which is an artic white corsair 760t. Sound - it is a step up to the creative - good lows, mids n highs and good base. in games it is not too boomy or bassy but has just the right amount for the explosions in a game like battlefield 4 - but does not hinder you from pinpointing sound. I love it so far - just wore it for 8+ hrs straight gaming and didnt have a problem. If Kingston reads this review - please see the review i put in for the HyperX Cloud II and why i gave it a 2 stars. all the info is there. If you can make a Kingston HyperX Cloud III based on the constructive criticism i have for the Cloud II and have it to where you have the best of both worlds of the Original and the II esp in white or pink, i will definitely buy those when they drop. The sound quality is excellent, seems to be well made, (although I havent owned it for very long yet) and I have no problems with the microphone quality. I was pleasantly surprised at how many adapters HyperX included without additional cost. It came with multiple AUX extender cables (the ones with a mic and speaker jack) plus a 2-to-1 standard AUX adapter. One of the extender cables included a nice volume adjustment box. They even included a replacement pair of earphone pads, which were a soft cloth material. The ones that come on the headset are a leather-like material, so I guess HyperX wanted us to have the option. They also included a travel case for the headset. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Comfort and sound slightly worse than my MDR-1000X’s but for gaming (especially the zero latency) it’s pretty fantastic. I was previously using a very good corded Sennheiser headset but the cable kept getting run over or tangled in my chair, so it’s great having zero anxiety around that (plus, 20 hour battery life? This headset is loud and if you fiddle with the equalizer enough, you will have a great pair of speakers on your head. I listen to electronic music a ton, and its super important that I hear the different levels that the certain song gives - these do an amazing job. Even vocal driven songs sound great. The bass is a little high, but I turned that down so that the treb and the bass are pretty equal. (Ive included my equalizers for iTunes and the engine for those that are interested so they can check it out.) The next best thing is the comfort. Oh my goodness, are they comfortable. Ive been wearing them for a while now and I can see how people say they are stiff when you first get them, but they will loosen after you wear them enough. They are causing a tiny bit discomfort, but I have faith that they will stretch. My ears also tend to be very sensitive are get very irritated after a little while when they have something pressing against them, but the ear covers are exceptional. Very roomy for my ears and there is nothing irritating them for the time I have been wearing the headset. I am however going to jump straight into the one problem they have. There is a major clicking in the mic when I use the given sound card with the mirco plug in. Its horrifying how loud the clicking is. I am pretty sure this is a problem with the sound card - not the software. A lot of people have been addressing this clicking issue for a year now and Steelseries is really horrible about the issue and has no fix for it. The only ACTUAL FIX for the headset is using the 3.5mm jacks with the soundcard instead of the micro USB - but you lose the lights on the headset if you used the 3.5mm. Funny thing is, I intended to use this headset with the Siberia USB External Soundcard anyways because I heard there were sound issues and mic issues with the given sound card. So I knew from the get-go that I wasnt going to use the lights on the headset. It still sucks incredibly because the biggest selling point for this headset is the color changing lights. The fact that you cant even use them without having a clicking mic, is why I gave them 3 stars. 150 dollars for a headset thats supposed to have lights but you cant use - is pretty awful. I would really like this headset to 100% amazing. Except the problems the mic has, along with Steelseries hardly caring about their defective products is a true bummer. I can live with it however and am pretty pleased. As for sound quality, its probably not up to par for the audiophiles out there, but I personally think the audio is pretty decent. Comfort - Super comfortable and I have no problem with wearing these for extended periods of time. The Microphone - friends tell me its super clear. I love being able to retract the microphone into the unit. Software - easy to use and useful. The LEDs are a cool feature even though you cant see anything when you wear it. Build quality is excellent on this piece and everything feels to be built with high quality materials Cons - its super huge and doesnt sit around my neck very well when I want to take it off but dont want to put it down. There were no reviews when I ordered it. But I was looking for a case that opened like a book (as opposed to the flip over lid). And I wanted one that would allow the kindle to stand up on its own because sometimes I just dont want to hold it. This case does all that just fine. The kindle snaps into the case easily. Its just a press fit (i.e. friction) - no clips or other mechanism to hold it in. It takes a little effort to remove the kindle from the case but it can be done. I do not anticipate removing it so Im not bothered by that. As with all cases, it does add some bulk but not very much. The texture on the case actually makes it a bit less slippery than the naked device, which is a good thing. The kindle is protected on all sides (and all 4 corners) which makes me very happy since Ive been known to drop it on a tile floor. The cover can wrap all the way around to the back so its not left flapping. It can also be held open with your left hand (to block the view of that nosy person next to you on the plane who keeps looking at what you are reading). Since the cover is origami style, it isnt completely rigid so it will sometimes start folding itself. Note, since the kindle can only be put into the case one way in order for the power button and charging port to line up correctly, the cover will only open to the left - just like a regular book cover does. The origami fold is what holds the kindle upright when you want to put it on a table. It works fine. There is only one "angle" available. No adjustments. It will hold the kindle upright in both portrait and landscape orientation. No instructions were provided. Every time I fold the cover I do it backwards. But there are only 2 choices. So if it doesnt stay upright, fold it the other way. Its not hard. I felt comfortable enough to toss it into my backpack while traveling but Im also careful not to let sharp heavy objects press on the front. Im very happy with my purchase. Kimber 5,0 de 5 estrelas I Finally Found a Kindle Voyage Case that Im Truly Happy With! 26 de abril de 2015 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada I have several Kindles...both of the eReader and tablet variety. I tend to buy very nice, sturdy cases. I am very careful with all my electronic devices (you could safely say I baby them), however, I have always been a bit of a klutz, and I believe in "better safe than sorry". I usually buy Otterbox cases (I also like Lifeproof and Seidio). I have an Otterbox Defender on my Paperwhite, and both my Kindle Fires (HD and HDX), and the official Amazon leather case (with LED light) on my Kindle 4. My husband bought me a Kindle Voyage for Christmas. He knows that with this, Id buy a nice case. So I looked for an Otterbox case. Nope. Otterbox doesnt make one for the Voyage (and even months after the Voyages release, they STILL dont, which surprises me since the Voyage is a premium eReader, and even more pricey than the Paperwhite). Hmmm.... So I looked for ANY rugged case for the Voyage. To my dismay, there really werent any, and the case selection in general for the Voyage was very limited. The first case I bought was a Fintie. Not bad, but it left the edges of the Voyage too exposed. I could just see myself dropping my pretty little Voyage down the stairs (or anywhere else for that matter), with those edges getting whacked. No way. So I did a little research and bought an Omoton (the smart shell one). I was somewhat happy with that one for awhile (most all of the edges of the Voyage were covered), and there were some things I liked about it, but the case had a cardboard feel to it, so I continued looking. I bought a Supcase, which was nice, but since it had no cover, I was concerned about the screen getting scratched. I bought a screen protector, but I still wasnt happy with the protection with the Supcase, so I kept looking. I then found a padded leather like Omoton that was pretty nice, but after reading for extended periods of time the case became uncomfortable and awkward, as although the cover folded back, it would slide around (yes, Im picky). Honestly, I have never purchased so many cases in my life for a device, but I just couldnt find one that I was happy with, until now. A few days later I came across this MoKo case. It seemed to have the features I was looking for...a sturdy frame covering almost all of the edges of the Voyage, a fabric that felt comfortable and not cheap, a cover that was magnetic not only when opening and closing the top, but also magnetic when you fold it back (which meant it didnt slip around), a compact size, comfortable to read with one hand (and I have tiny hands), and a button cover that actually worked very well. Ive now had this MoKo case for a little over a week and have read 3 or 4 books since I started using it. It is light and easy to hold. Beyond protection, the main thing I was looking for was a way to set my Kindle upright on the table in front of me. I find myself frequently eating alone in restaurants or at home and I tend to read while I eat. So, the qualities I want most are (1) stability and (2) upright angle. For these reasons, this product gets 4/5 stars. Because the Kindle has to be far enough away so that its not in my plate, it needs to be a little more upright than this case makes it. Not bad, but not ideal. Also, as some others have complained about, the design of the case is to make it upright. But because the hinge is on the vertical and not in the middle, it had a tendency to lean right. Bumped a little and it has a tendency to topple over. It hasnt actually happened yet, so it is more anxiety over the prospect than actual calamity that Im whining about. Maybe two years from now Ill say, "Wow, the problem I thought I had never happened." Well see. The other supposed eventuality Im expecting is that the hinge will get looser over time and not hold up so well. Again, anticipation and not actual experience...yet. Keep in mind, I recognize my misgivings as that and not actual faults. I hope you count 4 of 5 stars ratings like I do. I make buying decisions based on 4 and 5 star reviews. If at least 80% of the reviews are in the 4 and 5 star range, I tend to feel pretty confident. (Sorry for the extra commentary about ratings rather than the product itself.) While searching for it, however, I came across Ankers newest entry, the SoundCore Sport XL. Given the price, my general satisfaction with Anker, and Amazons solid return policy, I decided to give both speakers a try. Ill note that the SoundCore Sport XL is probably more comparable to the JBL Charge 2 given that both units have a USB port to let you charge your phone or other device. The Flip 3 doesnt have charging output port. If you want the shortest possible answer: Were keeping the Flip 3 and giving the SoundCore XL as a gift. But it was almost a coin toss about which was going to stay. Sound: I wanted this speaker to have enough volume for modest outdoor gatherings (both meet that criteria, though the Flip 3 is probably a touch louder) and sound good enough that I wouldnt mind having it playing in the house. Im also biased against todays tendency for consumer speakers to emphasize bass response over every other frequency range. If you like your music boom-y, Im not going to like the same speakers that you will. My wife and I listened to each of them across a wide range of music from classical to folk to hip-hop to pop to hard rock, trying to get a sense of which we liked better. The answer, as it turned out, was "it depends." The Flip 3 is definitely not as "flat" audibly as the SoundCore. Within the limits of what you can do with a small speaker, the Flip seems to emphasize the bass and treble ends of the spectrum more. High treble even sounded unnaturally "sizzly" for a couple songs. In others, the vocalist almost seemed a bit buried under the rest of the mix--though never disturbingly so. (Were talking nuance here, and your ears may have a different experience.) The SoundCore is definitely more flat sounding. It doesnt produce as much bass as the Flip, but thats not necessarily a bad thing, and it never had the sizzling issue in the treble. It just sounds...even. People used to the punchy sound emphasized by consumer speaker and headphone manufacturers, however, may find that the music lacks a bit of life. Which did we prefer? Ultimately it depended on what we were playing. Folk, country and music from the 70s and 80s that clearly was mixed with the intent of playing over the radio we often preferred on the SoundCore. More current pop, rock, and hip-hop sounded better to us on the JBL. In the final count, the JBL came out on top, but not by much. Ive been listening to both for a few days now, switching back and forth every so often, and I find that Im inclined toward the JBL, but I certainly dont mind the SoundCore. Size and Build: The SoundCore Sport XL is about 7 x 3 x 1.75 inches and wrapped in what feels like very sturdy, slightly rubbery plastic. Its definitely heavy in your hand and makes you feel confident that it can hold up to some rigorous outdoor use. The biggest issue with the design is that I found myself constantly grabbing into the bass port on the back, which includes a metal cover over a stretchy membrane for a passive woofer. I have no idea if pushing on the cover would damage the passive woofer, but it was disconcerting. The Flip 3 is 6.5 x 2.5 inches and covered in a dense fabric with hard plastic ends. Its slightly lighter in the hand, and the cylindrical shape makes it more comfortable to pick up and carry around. It feels solidly built if not quite as tank-like as the SoundCore. Never before has someone created this combination of size, sound quality, loudness, bass response, splash proof all for only $99! I have previously owned UE boom, Denon Envaya mini and JBL charge plus 2. These are the Flip 3s closest competitors. Here is my summary of the competition. UE boom: the reason I believe the UE boom is so popular is the form factor is just right and its loud for its size. What I dont like about the UE Boom is its $200 price tag and almost no bass whatsoever. Denon Envaya Mini: so close, I just wish it was louder and the battery would only last a few hours a moderate volumes. JBL Charge 2+: overall really good speaker, my two issues are, the sound profile is too bloated. Yes it has good bass for its side but it tends to drown out the higher frequencies and has quite a bit of dynamic compression at high volumes. Also I just wish it was a little smaller to fit in camping chair cup holders and more portable. And now for the JBL flip 3: its as loud as the UE boom, does not have the battery life issues of the Denon and does not have bloated bass like the charge 2+. The sound profile is well balanced, the upper frequencies are slightly upfront with decent bass for its size. My prediction, this will be the best selling Bluetooth speaker in its class! I gave this mouse to my husband, and he says he loves this mouse and its perfect for his large hands. (I have changed the rating from 4 to 5 stars because my husband loves it better than his old style Naga, but if you have small hands then I dont think this will be comfortable for you). I have switched to a Logitech G403 and find that its much better for smaller hands. I have been using a Razer Naga MMOG for years for games like WoW and FFXIV. Well, the left and right top buttons were no longer responsive, so I decided to get the Razer Naga Chroma MMO corded mouse as a replacement. The price is great on Amazon, and I love the cycling lights. I also like that the number pad keys stick out more than my previous Naga, making the keys easier to find by touch. The new Naga has a rougher texture than the old Naga. Im used to the smooth texture, so that will take some getting used to. Now, despite being larger than my old Naga, it is about 5 grams lighter. Not a game changer, but something to be aware of. The biggest issue for me is the large size of this mouse. I am female and my hands arent that big (6.5 inches from bottom of palm to top of middle finger, 3 inches across middle of palm). The mouse is wider and slightly taller than my old one. This makes it a little awkward and uncomfortable to grip. If your hand is larger than mine, then this will probably be great for you. I understand that Razers demographic will for the most part have larger hands than mine. The part of the mouse protruding out of the right side is what made it uncomfortable for me. The thumb grip position between all the buttons also forced me to hold the mouse in one set position rather than being free to adjust my grip. Just didnt work for me. Also, you have to have razer synapse open all the time in order to use your profiles or use custom dpi values... the moment you close synapse, the dpi values revert to the default pre-programmed ones. I also just re-bought a razer mamba, and while I was able to save profiles to the on-board memory just a few months ago via razer synapse, close it, and continue to use those profiles just fine without synapse open when i originally tried out the mamba, now I cannot do that either. i.e. the new razer synapse doesnt allow you to save profiles to the on-board memory of a mouse that previously, just a few months ago mind you, was able to actually use its on-board memory... I dont know why razer did that but it really sucks imo. I remember when synapse didnt even ask you to log in, it was just plug and play. You chose whether to save the profile on synapse or the mouses on-board memory. Now your telling me I cant even use the on-board memory of a mice??? Im really sick of this always online/interconnected baloney these days. Other than that, the mouse was almost perfect. I really liked the buttons around the thumb grip. And there is something about the 16000 dpi 5g laser sensor in older razer mice that just feels so darn good... even newer mice like the logitech g pro dont feel as good to me. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of options I have for programming this mouse. The grip itself is awesome! I love it so much! I really like that I have the option to dim the LEDs from 33% to 100%. At 100% brightness, the unit gets a bit warm, but I couldnt care less. Its just keeping the place warm for me until I come back -_o I now have my buttons set to change between Windows 10 virtual desktops by using a macro of "ctrl + win + left" & "ctrl + win + right". I also have the task manager on one, but I wasnt able to setup a macro to get through opening a program that needs UAC ok/cancel. I was a bit disappointed at that, but I will get over it. Ive owned every iteration of the Razer Naga and I cant imagine playing games without it. The 12 buttons on the side make it easy to switch weapons in FPS games and use entire action bar in MMOs just by using the thumb. I primarily use it for playing MMOs and having the entire damage rotation and targeting in one hand is very convenient. This iteration added ability to quickly step up or down DPI on the mouse making it more or less sensitive for when you need that extra precision. This is not as useful in MMO games but helps a great deal when playing a sniper in FPS games. Being able to create macros for the buttons makes it even more convenient if you need to do a sequence of events with a single button press. The mouse overall feels well built and fits my hand perfectly. This is a really well done visual novel with great art, voice actors, etc. I havent played many visual novel games but this is definitely the most well done one I have played. The story is a great continuation of the original where Okarin essentially stays in the original world line and develops an anxiety disorder. He really grows and develops as a character, and the new characters are also really cool. All I can really say is if you liked the original Steins:Gate anime or visual novel, youll love this just as much or more. And knowing that this is being adapted into an anime soon makes the experience that much better! Ive never gotten this into a visual novel before!
