I have been living in São Paulo for almost a year now and have been loving the diversity of music and arts events that the city offers and getting to know the wonderful people through teaching. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, this came from a fascination with other cultures and understanding global issues. This led me to various volunteering projects in Peru and Vietnam involving children, where I taught my first English lessons. Here I realised my love for teaching, the following year I completed my CELTA teaching qualification. Since then I have been teaching adults, online and in person. I am qualified to teach all levels, I use a variety of course books and supplement with native material from the BBC, TED talks when appropriate. The lessons being informative and interesting always being the priority! During my travels I also fell in love with India, practicing yoga and meditation. I am a keen lover of music and enjoy searching for the best nights of soul, jazz and Brazlian music here in São Paulo. This is a really well done visual novel with great art, voice actors, etc. I havent played many visual novel games but this is definitely the most well done one I have played. The story is a great continuation of the original where Okarin essentially stays in the original world line and develops an anxiety disorder. He really grows and develops as a character, and the new characters are also really cool. All I can really say is if you liked the original Steins:Gate anime or visual novel, youll love this just as much or more. And knowing that this is being adapted into an anime soon makes the experience that much better! Ive never gotten this into a visual novel before! If you like visual novels or just reading science fiction then I couldnt recommend this and its predecessor more highly. This takes place during the events for the first game close to the events of the true ending and describes the motivations for reaching steins gate and moving toward the new world line, is the best way I can describe it, but I javemt finished this yet. Jen em 1 de dezembro de 2016 - Publicada na Amazon.com The first thing players will notice about Deponia is its stunningly-detailed art style. The second thing they will probably notice is the wacky environment and zany sense of humour. Deponia tells the story of Rufus, a young man who is desperate to leave his hometown and forge something better. He’s so desperate that he’ll emancipate himself with a makeshift rocket. This is quite understandable, since he literally lives in a junkyard. Although Rufus isnt the most lovable protagonist (he tends to be rather brusque and callous at times, and tends to take selfishness to almost unbelievable extremes), he does breathe a great deal of life into the adventure, making Deponia as riveting as a classic novel such as Little Women or Les Miserables. I know thats an exaggeration, but it really is hard to stop playing once you get into the swing of things. There are more twists and turns than a spaghetti dinner-for-eight, as he swiftly finds himself wrapped up in a conspiracy concerning a beautiful damsel in distress and a nation in turmoil. The cliches end here, though, and you’ll always find yourself eager to unravel more mysteries. The side characters include Rufus friend Wenzel, ex-girlfriend Toni (dont forget to exhaust her conversation options) and the traditional mad scientist. They breathe life into the game and make things both realistic and engaging. This will be considerably easier said than done, however. The puzzles do make logical sense (in hindsight), but a great deal of creative thinking and memorization is needed before you can, for instance, mix an energy drink to render the beautiful lady lucid and able to converse with you. Where did I leave the magic ginger and disgusting coffee? Fans of the two Discworld games for the PC and the ancient King’s Quest games will certainly feel nostalgic here. You are the anti-hero, Rufus, whose main goal is to leave this planet and will do anything to achieve that. When he “rescues” a girl, he discovers there are bigger things going on. Will he make the right decision when it really counts? This is a point-and-click adventure game. Overall, I enjoyed the game. The plot itself was good but slow to develop. From what I understand, this is the first in a series of games. So, consider this the first episode. There are a few unresolved issues that will not be answered. The puzzles were a mixed bag. I figured most of them out on my own. For the few, I had to consult a walkthrough. It can be a bit frustrating when you are checking every nook and cranny or combining everything in your inventory so you can make some progress. And there were a lot of weird combinations. My main pet peeve was the controls. The tutorial was not really helpful and I spent the first 20 minutes, trying to remember what the tutorial said. Eventually, I got the hang of it but it took about 2 hours before I finally got a feel for it. You don’t know what a relief it was. Rufus moves slowly from one scene to another and having the option to teleport him from one room to another was like mana from heaven. Other than that, the game ran smoothly. There was no lag between screens. There were a few times where the subtitles don’t match what the characters were saying. There wasnt really bad language. More sarcasm than anything. The artwork/design is simple but gorgeous. I love the thick-line cartoon look. The voice acting is good and fit their characters. Normally, I would pass over these type of games (I play RPGs/Adventures/Simulation games) but I wanted to give it try. It took me about 20+ hours to finish the game and get 75% of the trophies. So, for the price, it was worth the entertainment. I might go back to get all the trophies but it doesn’t have much replay value otherwise. I would’ve preferred that the developer placed all the sequels on one disc, since I would love to see what happens next. However, this game is not for everyone. If you looking for fast pace with lots of action, this is not it. If you are looking for humor, decent plot and puzzle-solving, this is for you. In the end, I will be waiting for the sequel. I would love see what happens to Rufus. I do not like how the tactics you choose in battle affect who you end up with. How are you supposed to know if attacking or running will get you with who you want to go with? I had to look up a guide due to this. Its just not ideal or wise at all. The MC is boring to me. After playing Code Realize, my expectations are immensely high. She doesnt have backbone and isnt charming at all. I know not every MC is going to be strong and independent, but that doesnt mean they cant be clever or quick to think and act, etc. All in all, its just okay. If you want trophies or just a VN to play, get it, but other than that, I dont recommend this. I placed it on my phone immediately as I took it out of the package, so had little need for the accessories. That said, those accessories were plentiful and would have been useful for someone needing to clean a streaks and dust. It took maybe three tries to get in centered, but that was far easier than most other screen protectors Ive used. Fits well, with unassuming cutouts in all the right places. I had to lift it up a little because one corner wasnt sealing. I lifted the corner up very gently, and it cracked. First I ordered the wrong style, then I get the right one today and it breaks before I can even use it. I think I will be trying a different products. If it breaks that easily just gently lifting it, I have concerns about how much protection it would provide. It fits perfectly for my phone, it just wont stay on. Had a friend check it too and she had the same experience. not giving up yet though! I love the design, slick look, and feel of the case. I havent dropped it yet, but I doubt the phone will get damaged through this thick case. Theres been accusations with certain people that the rubber inside will leave resides on the back of your OP5. If it does happens and I cant remove it or permanently damages my phone, Ill update the review. The design is pretty simple, nothing too aesthetically impressive. No premium packaging or screen protector included. Ill update later on how this case holds up after some use. Update: If you plan on getting a tempered glass screen protector, its very hard to find a compatible one for this case. Most of them will pop off because the edges of the case go over the screen. But I used this case until my preordered bumper case was available. This wasnt bulky and definitely improved the grip of the too slippery OP5. If you are looking for drop protection however I doubt that this case will do much.
