If youre considering this kind of product, obviously you need to measure your desk out first because this can actually be too large for many desks. Secondly, be aware that this is a cloth texture mouse pad, not covered with hard plastic or the like (completely changes mouse movement). Personally, with my Logitech G402 I like this pads amount of friction as it allows smooth gliding with very good precision. The material is also very durable- in the month Ive had it, there hasnt been any notable stains, as other similar mousepads Ive used in the past tend to have dust particle smashed into the surface giving it a chalky appearance. And finally, given the choice between the MM200 and the MM300, I would still prefer this product. The MM300 offers a anti-fray stitched edge which I actually find distracting, but if youre the type who fiddles with the mouse pad or otherwise comes in contact with the edges (unlikely, considering how big it is), the MM300 might work out better for you. I bought a full set of gaming accessories for myself, includding a gaming mouse, a gaming keyboard and a mouse pad. I got Gaming Keyboard, UtechSmart Saturn RGB Visual Effect Wired Gaming Keyboard with Rainbow LED Backlit. I was looking for a keyboard that would light up so I could see the keys at night (I often work at night, and I prefer my office dark) and one that could take repeated strokes on the same keys better than a conventional keyboard. and I found what I was looking for.I also tried the gaming mouse pad  Mouse Pad, UtechSmart Soft Gaming Mouse Pad Mat with Smooth Surface Anti Slip Rubber Base. Didnt expect the top to feel like a thin cloth, I think this is better but either way it feels much different from normal mouse pads. Its way bigger than I thought it should be. For this review, Ill be comparing this mouse to the Logitech G502. I recently purchased both mice and have had a few weeks to use both. They are two of the most popular gaming mice on the market and direct competitors, so this comparison should prove useful for some. First off, this is the most beautiful mouse Ive ever seen. The build quality is incredible and a huge step above any mouse Ive used before. The aluminum chassis, rubberized top and sandpaper-like sides make for an incredibly well crafted device. The switches have what I would consider elegant actuation, with good tactile feel that is smooth with a satisfying, muted click noise. The scroll wheel feels elegant as well, with a really nice rubber material and super smooth scrolling action. The LED implementation is also really nice, with a beautifully lit scroll wheel area and brilliant illumination on the back of the mouse. This mouse illuminates the mouse pad and just looks really great, with the option to cycle through the RGB colors or use static colors. In short, its the best built and best looking mouse Ive seen, and possibly the best looking peripheral Ive ever used- on par with Corsairs gorgeous keyboards. Compared to the G502, this mouse is a step above in build quality and looks. The tracking on this mouse is excellent. It contains a pixart 3360 sensor, regarded as the best optical sensor on the market. The tracking is extremely accurate. The G502 contains a 3366 (Logitechs variant of the same sensor), so they are very similar. Having said that, I do feel that the G502 is slightly more accurate and responsive. Its hard to articulate what the difference is, its more of a feel you get using both mice. The G502 just seems to track basically perfectly, whereas I did have slightly more trouble aiming with pinpoint accuracy with this mouse. In reality though, the difference would probably be imperceptible to most users. The location of the "sniper button" is right where your thumb would normally rest. This would present a problem, but the button does require decent actuation force, so I never found myself accidentally activating it while playing. I was able to lift the mouse just fine as well. I do like the location of the "sniper button" on the G502 a bit more, where its located just at the tip of your thumb. It totally prevents any accidental press of the button, and just felt a little more natural to me. Now we get to the main issue I have with this mouse, and the reason I deducted one star. The shape and weight of this mouse will not be for everyone. Its shorter than most mice, while also being a bit stocky and wide. I use a fingertip type grip where my palm sort of floats above the top surface of the mouse, so I didnt have much of an issue adapting to the shape. However for those with a true palm grip, I doubt they would find this mouse comfortable. I think its probably made mostly for claw grip, and probably most fingertip users will find it comfortable as well (such as myself). However in comparison to the G502, this M65 is decidedly less comfortable. The G502 fits me like a glove. I especially like the extended thumb rest on the G502, and I prefer the grippy textured sides to the sandpaper-like sides of this M65. Aiming and lifting just feels more natural on the G502 for me. The weight of this mouse is probably its major issue. It comes with 3 weights installed in the underside of the mouse, and its just plain heavy. With the weights installed, I found difficult in lifting the mouse without my fingers slipping, and quick wrist actions for aiming are a bit more difficult than on lighter mice. I find it interesting that a mouse marketed as an FPS mouse would be so heavy out of the box. I removed all 3 of the weights, and its definitely much better. The G502 is also considered a heavy mouse, but it comes without the weights installed. I think without weights, the M65 still feels slightly heavier than the G502. Its definitely something to keep in mind for people who prefer lighter mice. The mouse is just heavy, no getting around it. Other than the stock/short size and the weight, this mouse is incredible. It looks so elegant next to my Corsair K70 keyboard, and it just exudes a quality of build that Ive never seen in a mouse before. Most mice are full of plastic, as the G502 is. The M65 will instantly impress you with how well its made and how great it looks. However, looks are not enough for me to recommend this mouse over the G502. I think the G502 is probably the best mouse Ive ever used, even though it looks overly "gamery" and has a plasticy build quality. It just sports more cool features (free scroll wheel being my favorite) and is supremely comfortable. However for those of you who have owned Corsair mice in the past, or who prioritize looks over slightly better performance, the M65 Pro RGB is a wonderful mouse. I would consider it the second best mouse Ive ever used, and this is coming from a loyal MX518 and G400 user. I have had this mouse for over a year. The middle button started to malfunction which I have never experienced before, but because I loved this mouse so much I decided to just get another one and use my semi broken one on another PC. I un-boxed the new one and started using it immediately on my games. After only 2 hours, I noticed my thumb hurting as if i dragged it over sandpaper. Literally red and throbbing. The sides of this mouse have some sort of coating on it that must be non slip or something, its totally different than the same mouse from a year ago, which was very smooth and comfortable. Using this mouse is literally painful. If your a gamer and have the mouse in your hand for 10-15 hours a day, you will most likely have the skin rubbed off your index finger and thumb, because this awful sand paper coating is on both sides. They had a perfect mouse less the issue with the middle mouse button failing early...and now its totally worthless. My first return ever with Amazon and for the most stupid reason possible being I already had the product and wanted another one. I do like how the power button is recessed as well so its less likely to get bumped and would still allow finger print scanning on compatible phones. Its not the typical "wet suit" material if you were wondering or that makes any sense. The texture is pretty course and stitched for control as well as anti fray. Regards, Every Serious FPS Player Thankfully due to the size, its fairly easy to avoid, and it has a lot of positives. The rubberized hexagonal patterned base grips the desk well, so it didnt slide around. The surface is somewhere in between a Goliathus Speed and Control, but feels smooth like a Speed, which is something Ive really wanted to try lately (and so far its great). The size is awesome, if you have the desk space. Smooth, soft stitched edges, no irritation on my skin. And most optical sensors track as well as they can on it (laser sensors, not so much). You can get a plain black version from Razer, but otherwise the logo is green - which is a negative in my opinion. "Hi, were going to Chroma everything, now let us dictate the color scheme by putting green on the pad". Not a big deal, but... thats two rookie mistakes. The mouse pad I had before this one had a plastic top and when I upgraded to a gaming mouse I realized that mouse control was more of an exact science than I had originally thought. The fabric top offered more precise control of the mouse, and sometimes centimeters count in gaming. As mouse pads go, I would say that the primary factor to consider is a fabric top vice a plastic top. I bought the Razer mouse pad for the brand status, but I would say that any fabric mouse pad will do. Perhaps the only other factor to consider would be size. I havent seen the need for a larger mousepad, but if that is important to others, there are larger versions available. I love the super sharp controls, lots of stylish fighting moves, the amazing smooth graphics, Dantes broody & sassy character, the classic dark color palette and style... everything about this game is high quality. I did experience a few stutters in the framerate but they were very small, nothing to complain about but thought I should include this in my brief review. Overall an excellent game, and I havent even started exploring all the extras. I was expecting all the slashing, stabbing and shooting to become repetitive, but this common pitfall in action games is masterfully avoided with an assortment of enemies to fight, a variety of weapons and tons of different attacks options, and a changing environment. I have played nearly all of the DMC games in the series and this is by far the best one yet. Highly recommended for action game fans! Whit that said, i must state that i am very satisfied with this mouse. Previously I was usig a generic small laptop mouse, so i got accustomed to smaller mice. i was fearing that the adaptation to this new product would be long and "painfull", however, for being a full size mouse the taipan is quite ligth weight. It is also a very sober alternative to the more flashy products designed for gamers (which i dont like): you can deactivate the razer logo back-light and it becomes a very subtle detail barely seeable in the mouse, so you can go to your office or laboratory and pretend to be a serious person. Considering my small mouse background i use a claw like grip, which is perfect for this mouse. Currently I dont use the side buttons, but they are prerfectly accesible (more on the thumb side) so i will certainly try to get some usefull functions linked to then trough the synapse program. overall 10/10 will buy more razer products in the future. This mouse has helped me improve my gameplay, in comparison to using a traditional mouse. The additional buttons are great and easy to use with keybinds. The design is sleek and the logo looks cool. This is a very good gaming mouse if you are looking for something "simple" in terms of gaming mouses that gets that job done, looks nice, and works well. Granted theyve made some products that were better than others, but relative to the products Ive tried, I would give them 6 stars out of 5. The first mouse I got from them, a Copperhead, lasted until a couple months ago (almost 10 years of active gaming), and its only the left click button which isnt responding (so still fixable). This one in particular, the Taipan, is no different than Copperhead, as in its an awesome piece of hardware! Very comfortable to use, light, ergonomic, a smooth texture/feel, high pointer precision, I have nothing bad to say about it. I was thoroughly sick of using my laptop touchpad to play Runescape and navigate through webpages it gets very annoying after my wireless mouse decided to die. I kind of like the fact that this mouse is wired so I dont have to worry about charging batteries and the cord is as long as needed, I actually never took the twist tie off of the extra cord and have an ample amount. The cord is not your typical rubbery electronic cord like your phone charger, it is like woven with some sort of cotton like cover and its very flexible so you dont have to deal with it being kinked or making it awkward to push the mouse around. I really like this mouse and it is very responsive and seems to be very smooth. I really like the fact that the scroll wheel and the logo on the mouse glow, it makes it easy to see in the dark and it looks really cool. The side buttons by default are programmed to go back and forward on webpages which is pretty cool. Overall I think this is a great mouse and would recommend it to a friend. Prior to having this mouse, I just used a standard Logitech wireless laptop mouse. It was on its last legs after some abuse though, so after doing some research I settled upon the Razer Taipan as something I wanted to try out. Pros: -Beautiful looking mouse. I got the white color scheme one and it is definitely pretty to look at. Also matches my white/black PC tower. -Comfortable to hold, although it is definitely for smaller hands like other reviewers have said (the reason I bought it, Ive got some baby hands). The rubber grips on either side underneath the side buttons make a super good thumb rest. I use kind of a claw grip, but it seems like it would be okay palm as well. Havent noticed any hand fatigue so far, including game sessions of 8+ hours. -The tracking on the mouse seems to be relatively top notch from my experience. Granted, I did just move from a $20 dollar wireless mouse, so there was bound to be improvement. -The adjustable DPI is a pretty nice feature, although the maximum this mouse allows (8200) is laughably unnecessary. After a couple days of experimenting playing various games, I got mine honed in at 2000, where it has been ever since. -Ludicrous initial setup aside, Razer Synapse hasnt given me any problems yet! (EDIT: jk lolz) Cons: -I have had a few severe tracking issues. The reason though, it would seem, is because the sensor is incredibly, incredibly sensitive to any interference. The first couple days after owning it, I noticed occasionally the tracking would just kind of seize up and start doing circles instead of straight lines. As far as I can tell, each time it has been from tiny specks of hair or fuzz getting in the path of the sensor. This is with a brand new, spotless mouse pad too. It is definitely frustrating when it happens, since the rest of the time it tracks excellently. -The glossy plastics making up the mouse are fairly slick, including the main left/right buttons. I havent really noticed it that badly when gaming, but they definitely seem like they would get bad quick if youve got some sweaty hands. -Occasionally upon starting a game, it seems like the mouse gets stuck at a sensitivity double of what it should actually be set at. It basically makes any games unplayable until I restart my computer (simply restarting the game, restarting Razer Synapse, or unplugging the mouse hasnt had any success). I have no idea what the source of this problem is, but Im going to go ahead and blame Razer Synapse because I have absolutely no idea what else it could be. All in all, after researching for something lightweight, good for smaller hands, and possessing the right amount of secondary buttons, I feel like I made the right decision, and am definitely happy with my purchase. I gave this mouse to my husband, and he says he loves this mouse and its perfect for his large hands. (I have changed the rating from 4 to 5 stars because my husband loves it better than his old style Naga, but if you have small hands then I dont think this will be comfortable for you). I have switched to a Logitech G403 and find that its much better for smaller hands. I have been using a Razer Naga MMOG for years for games like WoW and FFXIV. Well, the left and right top buttons were no longer responsive, so I decided to get the Razer Naga Chroma MMO corded mouse as a replacement. The price is great on Amazon, and I love the cycling lights. I also like that the number pad keys stick out more than my previous Naga, making the keys easier to find by touch. The new Naga has a rougher texture than the old Naga. Im used to the smooth texture, so that will take some getting used to. Now, despite being larger than my old Naga, it is about 5 grams lighter. Not a game changer, but something to be aware of. The biggest issue for me is the large size of this mouse. I am female and my hands arent that big (6.5 inches from bottom of palm to top of middle finger, 3 inches across middle of palm). The mouse is wider and slightly taller than my old one. This makes it a little awkward and uncomfortable to grip. If your hand is larger than mine, then this will probably be great for you. I understand that Razers demographic will for the most part have larger hands than mine. The part of the mouse protruding out of the right side is what made it uncomfortable for me. The thumb grip position between all the buttons also forced me to hold the mouse in one set position rather than being free to adjust my grip. Just didnt work for me. Also, you have to have razer synapse open all the time in order to use your profiles or use custom dpi values... the moment you close synapse, the dpi values revert to the default pre-programmed ones. I also just re-bought a razer mamba, and while I was able to save profiles to the on-board memory just a few months ago via razer synapse, close it, and continue to use those profiles just fine without synapse open when i originally tried out the mamba, now I cannot do that either. i.e. the new razer synapse doesnt allow you to save profiles to the on-board memory of a mouse that previously, just a few months ago mind you, was able to actually use its on-board memory... I dont know why razer did that but it really sucks imo. I remember when synapse didnt even ask you to log in, it was just plug and play. You chose whether to save the profile on synapse or the mouses on-board memory. Now your telling me I cant even use the on-board memory of a mice??? Im really sick of this always online/interconnected baloney these days. Other than that, the mouse was almost perfect. I really liked the buttons around the thumb grip. And there is something about the 16000 dpi 5g laser sensor in older razer mice that just feels so darn good... even newer mice like the logitech g pro dont feel as good to me. It has many display settings (colors, color-cycling, etc.) and each button can be programmed to do whatever you want, so as a gamer, he is absolutely thrilled with it. He also loved the shape (very ergonomic) and that the texture has better grip, as opposed to his older version that was very smooth and not the easiest to hang on to when youre trying to move quickly. It also allows you to speed up or slow down the response time of the mouses movements on-screen, so he can customize it to exactly what he needs. Were both really happy with the purchase! I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of options I have for programming this mouse. The grip itself is awesome! I love it so much! I really like that I have the option to dim the LEDs from 33% to 100%. At 100% brightness, the unit gets a bit warm, but I couldnt care less. Its just keeping the place warm for me until I come back -_o I now have my buttons set to change between Windows 10 virtual desktops by using a macro of "ctrl + win + left" & "ctrl + win + right". I also have the task manager on one, but I wasnt able to setup a macro to get through opening a program that needs UAC ok/cancel. I was a bit disappointed at that, but I will get over it. Ive owned every iteration of the Razer Naga and I cant imagine playing games without it. The 12 buttons on the side make it easy to switch weapons in FPS games and use entire action bar in MMOs just by using the thumb. I primarily use it for playing MMOs and having the entire damage rotation and targeting in one hand is very convenient. This iteration added ability to quickly step up or down DPI on the mouse making it more or less sensitive for when you need that extra precision. This is not as useful in MMO games but helps a great deal when playing a sniper in FPS games. Being able to create macros for the buttons makes it even more convenient if you need to do a sequence of events with a single button press. The mouse overall feels well built and fits my hand perfectly. However, this mouse feels tailored to the way my hand wants to rest while in use and the extra buttons really help me in games! Very comfortable, and so far has lasted me since my purchase a few weeks ago with no sign of wear or tear. My only real complaint about it is that it doesnt come with any sort of software to program the side buttons in the event that you cant do that in game (Like the Witcher 1 for instance), but with X Mouse Button, I was able to write a profile for each game I wanted to use those extra buttons for so no real loss there, I just wish there was a recommendation or some sort of code to redeem some of Redragons own button mapping software in the box. I checked their website, but currently this model isnt even on it (go figure). Still though, I really appreciate having the extra speed/precision of the DPS switch modes, and the way this mouse is shaped could take some getting used to (all of like 5 seconds maybe), but once you do, you never want to go back to generic mine again! This mouse is awesome! It’s smooth, EASY to set up and the movable keypad is great. I am a lady gamer and I have small hands. I was worried this mouse would be too big for me. I actually think it’s more comfortable. It’s a little bit wider than the Razer but it still fits well in my hand. The buttons are larger than the Naga which is so awesome. It’s harder to acddiently click two at the same time. The alternating texture of the buttons is a nice feature too. Many people are claiming the set up is hard, it’s not. The issue is that the numbers are not bound when you buy the mouse. All you have to do is download the CUE software and bind the keys to whatever you want. In my case, I rebound the keys to 1-9 and -, =. It took all of 3 mins and it was done. YouTube is a heck of a resource! I would definitely recommend this mouse to anyone. I love it! Just a heads up all bonuses are automatically given to you once your game is installed and running. After I connected and created my player I saw my VC count at 100k and once I played a bit through the my team intros I got the Shaq and kyrie rewards, but on to the game. If you are looking for the best looking and playing basketball experience this where the game is great. The gameplay is smooth and unlike other years fairly “cheese” free(BS). Players truly reflect their stats and finally badges reflect who they are. Players with high defense iq will handle switches on picks better or react better to cuts. Shooters like Redick who can pull up off the dribble will do that no problem where a player like Lebron can shoot but mostly when his feet are set. The gameplay is great. The biggest gripe I have is if you want to enjoy myplayer or my team fully you’ll have to consider investing in some VC or grind for hours. Everything from a simple haircut requires vc. My team no longer allows you to buy league boxes with mt just VC and overall the prices have gone up a bit. The grind is tough. I upgraded to a Caseology case for my previous phone and it was so nice that I immediately looked for a Caseology case for this phone. The Burgundy/pink color is very attractive, and fit is great. Works perfectly with a Manto tempered glass screen protector. The back diamond patterned portion has a subtle fuzzy texture, like it’s “flocked”. It feels unusual, but nice, and it’s possible that it makes the case less likely to slip from your hand or pocket. Time will tell if it will attract grime and start to look grubby sooner than a totally smooth case. This has already suffered a few drops to wood floor and tile...no scratch/damage visible on the case. No drops to asphalt/concrete yet...so not sure how scratch resistant it would be in that situation. I’ve seen conflicting answers about whether this case is 1 or 2 pieces, so I’ll address that. It IS 2 pieces...but it can function like a 1 piece case. That is, you can physically separate the burgundy flexible portion from the rigid pink bumper. They CAN come apart. However, it is not necessary to separate them to put on or remove the case, so I’m sure ppl who reported it is a single piece just never attempted to separate the parts. I also got a wireless charger and this case does not interfere with charging at all. The case is well made with a matte-like silver hard plastic aligning the case, which holds the phone securely. It’s not bulky at all which makes grasping a 7plus iPhone easier to carry around. I have dropped my phone on accident twice and both times my phone remained secured in the case. The case itself has a very minor scratch from the impact hitting the cement but it’s not noticeable at all! I was so impressed by the case I ended up buying two more colors. Another reviewer mentioned how the MC gets changed by someone while she is sleeping (Weird), one who uses some sort of mind control/merging and it sounds...creepy (WEIRD), and there are some other instances throughout the game, but I wont go into detail just so I dont ramble and possibly give away a spoiler. The characters were less than okay. Astrum is my favorite, but even so, the story and the characters are lacking. It had promise-being based off of being in a video game and its different from the average so I wanted to give this a try. I do not like how the tactics you choose in battle affect who you end up with. How are you supposed to know if attacking or running will get you with who you want to go with? I had to look up a guide due to this. Its just not ideal or wise at all. The MC is boring to me. After playing Code Realize, my expectations are immensely high. She doesnt have backbone and isnt charming at all. I know not every MC is going to be strong and independent, but that doesnt mean they cant be clever or quick to think and act, etc. All in all, its just okay. If you want trophies or just a VN to play, get it, but other than that, I dont recommend this.
