I enjoy reading this manga and I would give 5 stars but for some reason they stop showing 2 pages when in landscape view. Now when there is a panel that spans 2 pages you have to flip back and forth to see the whole image. In earlier volumes you would see 1 page in portrait view and 2 pages when in landscape view. Shelley started writing the story when she was eighteen, and the novel was published when she was twenty. The first edition was published anonymously in London in 1818. Shelley's name appears on the second edition, published in France in 1823. Shelley had travelled through Europe in 1814, journeying along the river Rhine in Germany with a stop in Gernsheim which is just 17 km away from Frankenstein Castle, where, two centuries before, an alchemist was engaged in experiments. Later, she travelled in the region of Geneva (Switzerland)-where much of the story takes place-and the topic of galvanism and other similar occult ideas were themes of conversation among her companions, particularly her lover and future husband, Percy Shelley. Mary, Percy, Lord Byron, and John Polidori decided to have a competition to see who could write the best horror story. After thinking for days, Shelley dreamt about a scientist who created life and was horrified by what he had made; her dream later evolved into the novel's story. Shelley completed her writing in May 1817, and Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus was first published on 11 March 1818 by the small London publishing house of Lackington, Hughes, Harding, Mavor, & Jones. The second edition of Frankenstein was published on 11 August 1822 in two volumes (by G. and W. B. Whittaker) following the success of the stage play Presumption; or, the Fate of Frankenstein by Richard Brinsley Peake; this edition credited Mary Shelley as the author. On 31 October 1831, the first "popular" edition in one volume appeared, published by Henry Colburn & Richard Bentley. This edition was heavily revised by Mary Shelley, partially because of pressure to make the story more conservative, and included a new, longer preface by her, presenting a somewhat embellished version of the genesis of the story. This edition tends to be the one most widely read now, although editions containing the original 1818 text are still published. Many scholars prefer the 1818 text, arguing that it preserves the spirit of Shelley's original publication. Audio quality is clear, and it is the most comfortable headset that Ive ever owned. The ear cups do a good job of canceling noise out as well. The microphone works great also, however a plastic piece broke off of it, leaving an exposed wire and a shaky, unstable mic. Take a look at the attached picture if you want to see exactly what Im talking about. I have contacted Kingston customer service asking them to replace the mic since this headset comes with a 2 year warranty and am currently waiting to hear back from them. I will update my review, and depending on how they handle this issue change my rating to either 1 or 5 stars. Update: Kingston replaced the mic for free under warranty. They sent it with 2 day shipping and didnt even require me to send the broken part back. For me as a live streamer on Twitch.tv I need two things for long gaming sessions headset wise: Comfort and Quality. These are by far the most comfortable headset I have ever worn. The design is sleek and it is WELL made. Most headsets nowadays come with leatherette ear cups and I CANT STAND IT. So I was happy to see the HyperX Cloud had replaceable Velour Ear Cushions. (the cloth ones) That was a huge plus for me. The soft leather band on the headset makes your skull feel like you are in HEAVEN. Too many headset makers dont care much for the pressure a headset puts on your noggin. HyperX does. I have had these 2 months prior to the recent release and not one sign of wear, and trust me I have a HUGE head. Now for sound. 53MM Drivers. This is better then most out there. And it is obvious in the sound. I play World of Warcraft and other MMOs, and let me tell you the sounds I can now hear that I couldnt before. The sound is so much clearer you wonder how the hell you tolerated your previous headset. The Aluminum build gives the Cloud a great shape and shows that HyperX cares about the longevity of their products. If you want comfort and quality sound this is your headset. And at $99? Yeah its worth it. I wanted to have the stereo version since my creative fatal1ty is now 2 yrs old. Just felt like having an update. Using the 3.5mm jacks for headphones and microphone i was able to utilize my onboard asus sound card with crystal sound 2.0 same as the creative, but sure its stereo - however when configured right you can pinpoint location pretty well. The HyperX Cloud is just as comfy as the Cloud II. Great build quality i feel with them. Love the white and black color - its looks clean and crisp and now also matches my new rig which is an artic white corsair 760t. Sound - it is a step up to the creative - good lows, mids n highs and good base. in games it is not too boomy or bassy but has just the right amount for the explosions in a game like battlefield 4 - but does not hinder you from pinpointing sound. I love it so far - just wore it for 8+ hrs straight gaming and didnt have a problem. If Kingston reads this review - please see the review i put in for the HyperX Cloud II and why i gave it a 2 stars. all the info is there. If you can make a Kingston HyperX Cloud III based on the constructive criticism i have for the Cloud II and have it to where you have the best of both worlds of the Original and the II esp in white or pink, i will definitely buy those when they drop. The sound quality is excellent, seems to be well made, (although I havent owned it for very long yet) and I have no problems with the microphone quality. I was pleasantly surprised at how many adapters HyperX included without additional cost. It came with multiple AUX extender cables (the ones with a mic and speaker jack) plus a 2-to-1 standard AUX adapter. One of the extender cables included a nice volume adjustment box. They even included a replacement pair of earphone pads, which were a soft cloth material. The ones that come on the headset are a leather-like material, so I guess HyperX wanted us to have the option. They also included a travel case for the headset. Would definitely recommend to a friend. The magnet strip where the cover and case meet isnt secured very well, and the cover metal pulled the magnet straight out of the case after about 4 months of normal use. The plastic holding the magnet then quickly snapped off where the magnet used to be, leaving me the choice between supergluing all of it back together, or finding a different case; I chose the latter (Inateck). Lastly, when it was intact, the cover did not do an adequate job of securing the "closed" position via the magnet. After closing my Paperwhite and going to sleep thinking it was securely off, I would sometimes wake to the Kindle believing that I had been "reading" the same page all night because it hadnt closed properly. This not only wastes the life of my backlight, but also throws my pages remaining count all out of whack and required manual fixing a few times. Ive had the case for 2-3 months now and the case looks pretty good still. It has a few faint stains, but since the case is a light color, that is kind of expected. The reason I gave the case only 3 stars, though, is because after a couple weeks, the magnets in the inside of the case started coming out when I opened the top. My husband ended up super gluing both of the magnets into their spots. The plastic on the outside, next to the magnets is weak so that ended up breaking while we were trying to fix the magnets, but we just glued that as well. So overall I give it three stars. The color and case is nice, but I would expect the magnets to stay put. At least until the case is a little bit older. Updated on 12/28: After publishing this review, the seller contacted me and offered to send a new case at no cost to me. It arrived quickly and looks like the magnets fit better than my old one. For this review, Ill be comparing this mouse to the Logitech G502. I recently purchased both mice and have had a few weeks to use both. They are two of the most popular gaming mice on the market and direct competitors, so this comparison should prove useful for some. First off, this is the most beautiful mouse Ive ever seen. The build quality is incredible and a huge step above any mouse Ive used before. The aluminum chassis, rubberized top and sandpaper-like sides make for an incredibly well crafted device. The switches have what I would consider elegant actuation, with good tactile feel that is smooth with a satisfying, muted click noise. The scroll wheel feels elegant as well, with a really nice rubber material and super smooth scrolling action. The LED implementation is also really nice, with a beautifully lit scroll wheel area and brilliant illumination on the back of the mouse. This mouse illuminates the mouse pad and just looks really great, with the option to cycle through the RGB colors or use static colors. In short, its the best built and best looking mouse Ive seen, and possibly the best looking peripheral Ive ever used- on par with Corsairs gorgeous keyboards. Compared to the G502, this mouse is a step above in build quality and looks. The tracking on this mouse is excellent. It contains a pixart 3360 sensor, regarded as the best optical sensor on the market. The tracking is extremely accurate. The G502 contains a 3366 (Logitechs variant of the same sensor), so they are very similar. Having said that, I do feel that the G502 is slightly more accurate and responsive. Its hard to articulate what the difference is, its more of a feel you get using both mice. The G502 just seems to track basically perfectly, whereas I did have slightly more trouble aiming with pinpoint accuracy with this mouse. In reality though, the difference would probably be imperceptible to most users. The location of the "sniper button" is right where your thumb would normally rest. This would present a problem, but the button does require decent actuation force, so I never found myself accidentally activating it while playing. I was able to lift the mouse just fine as well. I do like the location of the "sniper button" on the G502 a bit more, where its located just at the tip of your thumb. It totally prevents any accidental press of the button, and just felt a little more natural to me. Now we get to the main issue I have with this mouse, and the reason I deducted one star. The shape and weight of this mouse will not be for everyone. Its shorter than most mice, while also being a bit stocky and wide. I use a fingertip type grip where my palm sort of floats above the top surface of the mouse, so I didnt have much of an issue adapting to the shape. However for those with a true palm grip, I doubt they would find this mouse comfortable. I think its probably made mostly for claw grip, and probably most fingertip users will find it comfortable as well (such as myself). However in comparison to the G502, this M65 is decidedly less comfortable. The G502 fits me like a glove. I especially like the extended thumb rest on the G502, and I prefer the grippy textured sides to the sandpaper-like sides of this M65. Aiming and lifting just feels more natural on the G502 for me. The weight of this mouse is probably its major issue. It comes with 3 weights installed in the underside of the mouse, and its just plain heavy. With the weights installed, I found difficult in lifting the mouse without my fingers slipping, and quick wrist actions for aiming are a bit more difficult than on lighter mice. I find it interesting that a mouse marketed as an FPS mouse would be so heavy out of the box. I removed all 3 of the weights, and its definitely much better. The G502 is also considered a heavy mouse, but it comes without the weights installed. I think without weights, the M65 still feels slightly heavier than the G502. Its definitely something to keep in mind for people who prefer lighter mice. The mouse is just heavy, no getting around it. Other than the stock/short size and the weight, this mouse is incredible. It looks so elegant next to my Corsair K70 keyboard, and it just exudes a quality of build that Ive never seen in a mouse before. Most mice are full of plastic, as the G502 is. The M65 will instantly impress you with how well its made and how great it looks. However, looks are not enough for me to recommend this mouse over the G502. I think the G502 is probably the best mouse Ive ever used, even though it looks overly "gamery" and has a plasticy build quality. It just sports more cool features (free scroll wheel being my favorite) and is supremely comfortable. However for those of you who have owned Corsair mice in the past, or who prioritize looks over slightly better performance, the M65 Pro RGB is a wonderful mouse. I would consider it the second best mouse Ive ever used, and this is coming from a loyal MX518 and G400 user. The middle button started to malfunction which I have never experienced before, but because I loved this mouse so much I decided to just get another one and use my semi broken one on another PC. I un-boxed the new one and started using it immediately on my games. After only 2 hours, I noticed my thumb hurting as if i dragged it over sandpaper. Literally red and throbbing. The sides of this mouse have some sort of coating on it that must be non slip or something, its totally different than the same mouse from a year ago, which was very smooth and comfortable. Using this mouse is literally painful. If your a gamer and have the mouse in your hand for 10-15 hours a day, you will most likely have the skin rubbed off your index finger and thumb, because this awful sand paper coating is on both sides. They had a perfect mouse less the issue with the middle mouse button failing early...and now its totally worthless. There were no reviews when I ordered it. But I was looking for a case that opened like a book (as opposed to the flip over lid). And I wanted one that would allow the kindle to stand up on its own because sometimes I just dont want to hold it. This case does all that just fine. The kindle snaps into the case easily. Its just a press fit (i.e. friction) - no clips or other mechanism to hold it in. It takes a little effort to remove the kindle from the case but it can be done. I do not anticipate removing it so Im not bothered by that. As with all cases, it does add some bulk but not very much. The texture on the case actually makes it a bit less slippery than the naked device, which is a good thing. The kindle is protected on all sides (and all 4 corners) which makes me very happy since Ive been known to drop it on a tile floor. The cover can wrap all the way around to the back so its not left flapping. It can also be held open with your left hand (to block the view of that nosy person next to you on the plane who keeps looking at what you are reading). Since the cover is origami style, it isnt completely rigid so it will sometimes start folding itself. Note, since the kindle can only be put into the case one way in order for the power button and charging port to line up correctly, the cover will only open to the left - just like a regular book cover does. The origami fold is what holds the kindle upright when you want to put it on a table. It works fine. There is only one "angle" available. No adjustments. It will hold the kindle upright in both portrait and landscape orientation. No instructions were provided. Every time I fold the cover I do it backwards. But there are only 2 choices. So if it doesnt stay upright, fold it the other way. Its not hard. I felt comfortable enough to toss it into my backpack while traveling but Im also careful not to let sharp heavy objects press on the front. Im very happy with my purchase. I tend to buy very nice, sturdy cases. I am very careful with all my electronic devices (you could safely say I baby them), however, I have always been a bit of a klutz, and I believe in "better safe than sorry". I usually buy Otterbox cases (I also like Lifeproof and Seidio). I have an Otterbox Defender on my Paperwhite, and both my Kindle Fires (HD and HDX), and the official Amazon leather case (with LED light) on my Kindle 4. My husband bought me a Kindle Voyage for Christmas. He knows that with this, Id buy a nice case. So I looked for an Otterbox case. Nope. Otterbox doesnt make one for the Voyage (and even months after the Voyages release, they STILL dont, which surprises me since the Voyage is a premium eReader, and even more pricey than the Paperwhite). Hmmm.... So I looked for ANY rugged case for the Voyage. To my dismay, there really werent any, and the case selection in general for the Voyage was very limited. The first case I bought was a Fintie. Not bad, but it left the edges of the Voyage too exposed. I could just see myself dropping my pretty little Voyage down the stairs (or anywhere else for that matter), with those edges getting whacked. No way. So I did a little research and bought an Omoton (the smart shell one). I was somewhat happy with that one for awhile (most all of the edges of the Voyage were covered), and there were some things I liked about it, but the case had a cardboard feel to it, so I continued looking. I bought a Supcase, which was nice, but since it had no cover, I was concerned about the screen getting scratched. I bought a screen protector, but I still wasnt happy with the protection with the Supcase, so I kept looking. I then found a padded leather like Omoton that was pretty nice, but after reading for extended periods of time the case became uncomfortable and awkward, as although the cover folded back, it would slide around (yes, Im picky). Honestly, I have never purchased so many cases in my life for a device, but I just couldnt find one that I was happy with, until now. A few days later I came across this MoKo case. It seemed to have the features I was looking for...a sturdy frame covering almost all of the edges of the Voyage, a fabric that felt comfortable and not cheap, a cover that was magnetic not only when opening and closing the top, but also magnetic when you fold it back (which meant it didnt slip around), a compact size, comfortable to read with one hand (and I have tiny hands), and a button cover that actually worked very well. Ive now had this MoKo case for a little over a week and have read 3 or 4 books since I started using it. It is light and easy to hold. Beyond protection, the main thing I was looking for was a way to set my Kindle upright on the table in front of me. I find myself frequently eating alone in restaurants or at home and I tend to read while I eat. So, the qualities I want most are (1) stability and (2) upright angle. For these reasons, this product gets 4/5 stars. Because the Kindle has to be far enough away so that its not in my plate, it needs to be a little more upright than this case makes it. Not bad, but not ideal. Also, as some others have complained about, the design of the case is to make it upright. But because the hinge is on the vertical and not in the middle, it had a tendency to lean right. Bumped a little and it has a tendency to topple over. It hasnt actually happened yet, so it is more anxiety over the prospect than actual calamity that Im whining about. Maybe two years from now Ill say, "Wow, the problem I thought I had never happened." Well see. The other supposed eventuality Im expecting is that the hinge will get looser over time and not hold up so well. Again, anticipation and not actual experience...yet. Keep in mind, I recognize my misgivings as that and not actual faults. I hope you count 4 of 5 stars ratings like I do. I make buying decisions based on 4 and 5 star reviews. If at least 80% of the reviews are in the 4 and 5 star range, I tend to feel pretty confident. (Sorry for the extra commentary about ratings rather than the product itself.) It does have a few downsides but I think that for the price point it is an excellent value. Heres the reasons why: --> it has a decent set of drivers which give it great sound quality, making it great for music and game audio --> noise cancelling mic (cuts out all the white noise and garbage sound) --> its has integrated Dolby Pro Logic, which simulates 5.1 and 7.1 surround from a standard stereo (2 speaker) stream --> its comfy, with decent padding on the ear cups and head band you can wear it for hours --> the cup design helps to reduce outside noise (my GF has snuck up on me more than a couple of times while I wore these) --> it is very affordable as gaming headsets go (just over $40 after tax and shipping) However there are a few downsides: --> the adapter is USB and not the standard 3.5mm, which means you cannot use it on any consoles or (most) other devices; only computers. --> the ear cups tend to swivel around a lot (especially if you move your head a lot) --> the head band doesnt always stay put (again only if youre moving your head a lot) In general the features outweigh the downsides and for the price you cant beat it. Mic is clear and crisp and is definitely leagues better than any built in laptop mic and the price alone is worth it for that. The headphones themselves are great, and very loud. They do sometimes get uncomfortable if you wear them for too long, which is absolutely a problem if youre going to be playing games for extended durations, and if youre buying these youre probably in that crowd. They look and feel great, and I usually dont say that about gamer gear because the designs of these peripherals are usually very much not subtle at all, but even though the red definitely makes it clear this is branded towards gamers, its not the kind of ridiculous neon you might see on other headsets, which is a plus for me personally. Overall though the price alone makes this worthwhile, and my experience with them has been great, albeit they might be fatiguing to wear after a certain point. Por Manuel M. em 2 de novembro de 2017 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada Ok, so the main issue with this particular headset is its construction... the sound is good (not as good as i expected but that was my fault for letting the brand name influence my purchase) but the headset itself is poorly constructed... out from the box the 3.5 to 2.5 mm jack adapter was defective, you have to wiggle it so you can get audio on both sides, one week in using it started loosing sound on the right side and you had to wiggle it around so it would start working on both sides but soon after it would go mute on the right side again... when inspected, the volume control on the cable had the wires badly soldered so they where just coming loose, after fixxing it twice, i just cutted out the volume control and just entangled the wires together and, after that, while fixxing the heaset on my head one of the cups snapped... when i checked to see if i could glue it together, to my surprise, i found that all that held it together was a flimsy plastic stick... this headset is not worthy of the brand or the price, avoid. I was very satisfied with the customer service (all online so I didnt have to talk to anyone) and they got shipped it back to me in a day...but also using 5 day shipping. After 2 weeks I finally had gotten it back and they had ended up sending a new set. I was very happy cause I liked the sound and feel the only problem was the failure. It has since been a month and a half later and now it has broken again because of the wire. Last time it disconnected at the ear piece but this time it was at the volume control. Because it lasted the about the same amount of time and the same way I have concluded that the headset is not making sure the wires dont break away. Either way I am not paying the minimum of $15 for shipping it again, making the total payed for this headset $90. The magnetic clip was a little worrying, I always get nervous whenever magnets are near my electronics, but it seems to be a fear of a bygone era. It has no negative effect on the kindle whatsoever. It does make a satisfying clicking noise, however, when I close my kindle. I really like that clicking noise. This is slimmer than the original Amazon Paperwhite case, which was gifted to me, which I like because one of the selling points of the Paperwhite is how small it is. My favorite part is the hand strap, which is one of the primary reasons, I purchased this case. I have a handstrap on my tablet case and I use it regularly when I make use of my tablet, it is equally useful on this paperwhite. I feel safe using my kindle in the bath or while on the train. The paperwhite feels secure on my hand. Its not perfect though, the strap would feel better if it was place more towards the center of the cover, that way people with small hands could use it better with one hand. The cover also feels somewhat tight when closing over the kindle. I keep feeling the need to stretch the cover a little to sit flush with the kindle face. When I do this, however, the sleep/wake function stops working. Overall, great case, definitely worth the 11$. Its the perfect case for the price. Por Freader em 9 de maio de 2016 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada After ten months of use, my main complaint with this Paperwhite cover, could be solved if the plastic side of the cover had the same cut-out for the charge port and off/on button on the top, as it has on the bottom. This would enable it to accept the Paperwhite upside down, which would make for an easy left-hand hold with the hand strap. This would also place the strap in a position easiest to use for those with small hands. The second complaint is unless one has a gargantuan hand, or holds the cover with two hands, while reading lying on ones back, the heavier Kindle side can easily fall forward towards your face. A snap or a magnet closure connecting the two sections would prevent that. Also, the flexible spine allows the heavier Kindle side to skew, causing one to twist their wrist to keep the print straight - not very ergonomic for long reading sessions. Another problem - the magnet has come out of its slot, preventing proper closure of the cover, which drains the battery when the Kindle turns on by itself, intermittently. This doesnt happen with the cover left open, but then that negates the reason for a protective cover when carried in a purse or backpack. I have a Marware easel-style cover for the old Kindle Keyboard. The cover flips over the top and is held to the second section at the bottom with a well-made elastic band, with a handstrap on the back for easy one-handed use with either hand. One can also stand it up like an easel, while following recipes. I have yet to find a similar style for the Paperwhite. Ive threatened to remove the leather side of the Swees cover and just slide the plastic side with the Paperwhite into the Marware cover - it fits! Other than the above points, the overall quality of the cover holds up really well. The stitching is still tight and unfrayed with daily handling over the past ten months, and the leather, front and back, is unscratched after being carried around in a purse. The elastic hand strap is actually not as useful as you might think - when you open the case and flip the cover around to the back of the Kindle, there is nothing to secure the front flap to the back. So whether or not you are using the hand strap, you still have to support the device with both your thumb and 4 fingers. Its marginally useful if you spend a lot of time reading while laying down with the kindle directly above your head. If this case had a magnet on the back of the case as well as the front, it would be a 5-star item. Comparison Vid: [...] I was sick and tired of the Razer knock off clicky switches. It was nice for a couple months, but now it is quite irritating and unsatisfying to type on. Therefore I decided to get the Corsair Strafe RGB with MX Brown switches. DESIGN: Personally I like this design better than the Blackwidow. The Blackwidow seems to have a matte fingerprint/oil attracted finish to it. This keyboard however has a clean sleek design that trumps that Blackwidow. The finish on this keyboard seems to be fingerprint resistant and doesnt seem to stain as easy as the Blackwidow. ALSO IT COMES WITH THE OG CORSAIR SAILS LOGO (THANK YOU CORSAIR) not the new "Corsair Gaming" logo that everybody hated. KEYS: I have never owned a Cherry MX Keyboard until now and IT IS AMAZING TO TYPE ON. This keyboard has the option of MX Browns, Reds, or Corsairs "Silent Switches." I decided to get Browns because its halfway between a Red(Silent) and Blue (Clicky) switch, basically the best of both worlds. Browns are not as loud as blues, theyre nearly the same as Reds actually. Its just that Brown switches have a more tactile feedback feel when you type on them compared to Reds. The keycaps themselves on the other hand are similar in feel and look to the Razer keycaps. BUT Corsair includes a set of FPS and MOBA keycaps ALONG WITH a keycap puller so you can customize it to your needs. Props to Corsair for that. LEDS: The casing for the keycaps are clear so you get the maximum shine of color from the switches. Every switch has their own RGB LED that is customize able to what game youre gonna play. There are also two white LED strips on the side of the keyboard to add a nice clean finish to the keyboard. I have attached pictures to clarify. And there are 3 brightness settings for you to choose from. OTHER: Like I said before, Corsair throws in some extra accessories to sweeten the deal: -MOBA/FPS Keycaps -Keycap puller -Detachable wrist rest (which is quite comfortable to use actually) Now to the reason why Im giving this 4 stars... SOFTWARE: Im just gonna say it, the Razer Synapse software for the Chroma is much better than Corsairs CUE software. It took me about 30 minutes to an hour to figure out how to set a certain keycap a certain color. They do have instructions on their website, but its not clear enough for all the features. When I got my Razer Blackwidow Chroma, it was simple (INSANELY SIMPLE) to customize the LEDS to your specific needs. However for Corsair, it seems like theyre getting there but ever so slowly. For example you need to go to 3 or 4 different pages on Corsair software to set all the keys white and WASD a different color. It was just a very frustrating experience for me using the CUE software. Hopefully in the future it will be on the same level as Razers Synapse. OVERALL PROS: -Cherry MX Browns -Design -Price (Cheaper than Blackwidow Chroma) -Accessories (Keycaps/wrist rest) -USB Passthrough CONS: -CUE Software - No headphone/mic passthrough In the end, I recommend this keyboard to anyone who is looking for an upgrade or their first mechanical keyboard. The price of $149 is very much worth it considering all the extra accessories that come along with it. As for the software, give it some more time and Im sure major improvements will be made. Those felt amazing, so I thought. After around 10 minutes of typing and playing Battlefield 1, I realized these switches feel cheap and are not good for me. I did a bunch more research and decided I must have a keyboard with RGB lighting. Of all the keyboards that I saw through videos on YouTube, the Strafe was the most impressive. I tried to find a Strafe RGB with blue switches to mimic the Razer greens, but I could only find a refurbished one at Newegg for $150. Turns out there were issues with them and theyre no longer being made. I decided to go with the Reds because thats what many gamers I know use. I have been using this keyboard for 11 days now and I am very satisfied with it. The software is easy to use and allows for customization, the keys feel great when typing and when playing (FPS games that is), it looks really pretty, and it even has a USB port. But to use that you will need to plug in the second USB that is attached to the keyboards main cable. All in all, everything about this keyboard is absolutely wonderful. In case you didnt know, there are a few people that that frequent r/RGB Profiles on Reddit and the Corsair forums that create custom RGB lighting schemes that you can use with Corsair peripherals. Everyone can make custom profiles, but it is tough and is much easier to download profiles. I also own a Corsair M65 Pro and I found a guy through the Corsair RGB forums that lets you download free lighting schemes for all devices- so theyre in sync. He even has really great videos demonstrating the lights. He goes by "Schwitz". I am very satisfied with this keyboard. I attached a video of some of my favorite profiles. We have Windows 10 and it was a little weird to install. I used our old keyboard to download the software and had to restart at least once and just wait for the keyboard to start registering keystrokes, but it somehow snapped to it. I have another device with Cherry MX Brown keys and its such a pleasure to use for writing. The Blue are even clackier and old school, with very clear, distinct keying. The USB pass through is really nice as well. If you wait for it to be on sale like $100 dollars for the RGB, then its a really good deal. There are some cons though: the cable is very thick and there is no cable management which might be a problem for some. The software is hard to use and only for windows no linus or mac software compatibility(there is a unofficial software called ckb for mac, and it works great). The pros: keys are nice and fast, I have the browns which have the really nice tactile feedback. The RGB is bright and can show really fun patterns and designs. The build great and solid even without the glossy metal like on the K70. One important thing to note is that on my personal keyboard one of the keys light went off and stayed off on the first day I got it. I tried unplugging and re plugging and restarting the software but no luck, the key still works but the light doesnt. It bugs me but is no problem cuz the key still works. Overall this is the best keyboard for the price and the pros overweight the cons. While searching for it, however, I came across Ankers newest entry, the SoundCore Sport XL. Given the price, my general satisfaction with Anker, and Amazons solid return policy, I decided to give both speakers a try. Ill note that the SoundCore Sport XL is probably more comparable to the JBL Charge 2 given that both units have a USB port to let you charge your phone or other device. The Flip 3 doesnt have charging output port. If you want the shortest possible answer: Were keeping the Flip 3 and giving the SoundCore XL as a gift. But it was almost a coin toss about which was going to stay. Sound: I wanted this speaker to have enough volume for modest outdoor gatherings (both meet that criteria, though the Flip 3 is probably a touch louder) and sound good enough that I wouldnt mind having it playing in the house. Im also biased against todays tendency for consumer speakers to emphasize bass response over every other frequency range. If you like your music boom-y, Im not going to like the same speakers that you will. My wife and I listened to each of them across a wide range of music from classical to folk to hip-hop to pop to hard rock, trying to get a sense of which we liked better. The answer, as it turned out, was "it depends." The Flip 3 is definitely not as "flat" audibly as the SoundCore. Within the limits of what you can do with a small speaker, the Flip seems to emphasize the bass and treble ends of the spectrum more. High treble even sounded unnaturally "sizzly" for a couple songs. In others, the vocalist almost seemed a bit buried under the rest of the mix--though never disturbingly so. (Were talking nuance here, and your ears may have a different experience.) The SoundCore is definitely more flat sounding. It doesnt produce as much bass as the Flip, but thats not necessarily a bad thing, and it never had the sizzling issue in the treble. It just sounds...even. People used to the punchy sound emphasized by consumer speaker and headphone manufacturers, however, may find that the music lacks a bit of life. Which did we prefer? Ultimately it depended on what we were playing. Folk, country and music from the 70s and 80s that clearly was mixed with the intent of playing over the radio we often preferred on the SoundCore. More current pop, rock, and hip-hop sounded better to us on the JBL. In the final count, the JBL came out on top, but not by much. Ive been listening to both for a few days now, switching back and forth every so often, and I find that Im inclined toward the JBL, but I certainly dont mind the SoundCore. Size and Build: The SoundCore Sport XL is about 7 x 3 x 1.75 inches and wrapped in what feels like very sturdy, slightly rubbery plastic. Its definitely heavy in your hand and makes you feel confident that it can hold up to some rigorous outdoor use. The biggest issue with the design is that I found myself constantly grabbing into the bass port on the back, which includes a metal cover over a stretchy membrane for a passive woofer. I have no idea if pushing on the cover would damage the passive woofer, but it was disconcerting. The Flip 3 is 6.5 x 2.5 inches and covered in a dense fabric with hard plastic ends. Its slightly lighter in the hand, and the cylindrical shape makes it more comfortable to pick up and carry around. It feels solidly built if not quite as tank-like as the SoundCore. Never before has someone created this combination of size, sound quality, loudness, bass response, splash proof all for only $99! I have previously owned UE boom, Denon Envaya mini and JBL charge plus 2. These are the Flip 3s closest competitors. Here is my summary of the competition. UE boom: the reason I believe the UE boom is so popular is the form factor is just right and its loud for its size. What I dont like about the UE Boom is its $200 price tag and almost no bass whatsoever. Denon Envaya Mini: so close, I just wish it was louder and the battery would only last a few hours a moderate volumes. JBL Charge 2+: overall really good speaker, my two issues are, the sound profile is too bloated. Yes it has good bass for its side but it tends to drown out the higher frequencies and has quite a bit of dynamic compression at high volumes. Also I just wish it was a little smaller to fit in camping chair cup holders and more portable. And now for the JBL flip 3: its as loud as the UE boom, does not have the battery life issues of the Denon and does not have bloated bass like the charge 2+. The sound profile is well balanced, the upper frequencies are slightly upfront with decent bass for its size. My prediction, this will be the best selling Bluetooth speaker in its class! Whit that said, i must state that i am very satisfied with this mouse. Previously I was usig a generic small laptop mouse, so i got accustomed to smaller mice. i was fearing that the adaptation to this new product would be long and "painfull", however, for being a full size mouse the taipan is quite ligth weight. It is also a very sober alternative to the more flashy products designed for gamers (which i dont like): you can deactivate the razer logo back-light and it becomes a very subtle detail barely seeable in the mouse, so you can go to your office or laboratory and pretend to be a serious person. Considering my small mouse background i use a claw like grip, which is perfect for this mouse. Currently I dont use the side buttons, but they are prerfectly accesible (more on the thumb side) so i will certainly try to get some usefull functions linked to then trough the synapse program. overall 10/10 will buy more razer products in the future. The first mouse I got from them, a Copperhead, lasted until a couple months ago (almost 10 years of active gaming), and its only the left click button which isnt responding (so still fixable). This one in particular, the Taipan, is no different than Copperhead, as in its an awesome piece of hardware! Very comfortable to use, light, ergonomic, a smooth texture/feel, high pointer precision, I have nothing bad to say about it. I kind of like the fact that this mouse is wired so I dont have to worry about charging batteries and the cord is as long as needed, I actually never took the twist tie off of the extra cord and have an ample amount. The cord is not your typical rubbery electronic cord like your phone charger, it is like woven with some sort of cotton like cover and its very flexible so you dont have to deal with it being kinked or making it awkward to push the mouse around. I really like this mouse and it is very responsive and seems to be very smooth. I really like the fact that the scroll wheel and the logo on the mouse glow, it makes it easy to see in the dark and it looks really cool. The side buttons by default are programmed to go back and forward on webpages which is pretty cool. Overall I think this is a great mouse and would recommend it to a friend. Prior to having this mouse, I just used a standard Logitech wireless laptop mouse. It was on its last legs after some abuse though, so after doing some research I settled upon the Razer Taipan as something I wanted to try out. Pros: -Beautiful looking mouse. I got the white color scheme one and it is definitely pretty to look at. Also matches my white/black PC tower. -Comfortable to hold, although it is definitely for smaller hands like other reviewers have said (the reason I bought it, Ive got some baby hands). The rubber grips on either side underneath the side buttons make a super good thumb rest. I use kind of a claw grip, but it seems like it would be okay palm as well. Havent noticed any hand fatigue so far, including game sessions of 8+ hours. -The tracking on the mouse seems to be relatively top notch from my experience. Granted, I did just move from a $20 dollar wireless mouse, so there was bound to be improvement. -The adjustable DPI is a pretty nice feature, although the maximum this mouse allows (8200) is laughably unnecessary. After a couple days of experimenting playing various games, I got mine honed in at 2000, where it has been ever since. -Ludicrous initial setup aside, Razer Synapse hasnt given me any problems yet! (EDIT: jk lolz) Cons: -I have had a few severe tracking issues. The reason though, it would seem, is because the sensor is incredibly, incredibly sensitive to any interference. The first couple days after owning it, I noticed occasionally the tracking would just kind of seize up and start doing circles instead of straight lines. As far as I can tell, each time it has been from tiny specks of hair or fuzz getting in the path of the sensor. This is with a brand new, spotless mouse pad too. It is definitely frustrating when it happens, since the rest of the time it tracks excellently. -The glossy plastics making up the mouse are fairly slick, including the main left/right buttons. I havent really noticed it that badly when gaming, but they definitely seem like they would get bad quick if youve got some sweaty hands. -Occasionally upon starting a game, it seems like the mouse gets stuck at a sensitivity double of what it should actually be set at. It basically makes any games unplayable until I restart my computer (simply restarting the game, restarting Razer Synapse, or unplugging the mouse hasnt had any success). I have no idea what the source of this problem is, but Im going to go ahead and blame Razer Synapse because I have absolutely no idea what else it could be. All in all, after researching for something lightweight, good for smaller hands, and possessing the right amount of secondary buttons, I feel like I made the right decision, and am definitely happy with my purchase. I gave this mouse to my husband, and he says he loves this mouse and its perfect for his large hands. (I have changed the rating from 4 to 5 stars because my husband loves it better than his old style Naga, but if you have small hands then I dont think this will be comfortable for you). I have switched to a Logitech G403 and find that its much better for smaller hands. I have been using a Razer Naga MMOG for years for games like WoW and FFXIV. Well, the left and right top buttons were no longer responsive, so I decided to get the Razer Naga Chroma MMO corded mouse as a replacement. The price is great on Amazon, and I love the cycling lights. I also like that the number pad keys stick out more than my previous Naga, making the keys easier to find by touch. The new Naga has a rougher texture than the old Naga. Im used to the smooth texture, so that will take some getting used to. Now, despite being larger than my old Naga, it is about 5 grams lighter. Not a game changer, but something to be aware of. The biggest issue for me is the large size of this mouse. I am female and my hands arent that big (6.5 inches from bottom of palm to top of middle finger, 3 inches across middle of palm). The mouse is wider and slightly taller than my old one. This makes it a little awkward and uncomfortable to grip. If your hand is larger than mine, then this will probably be great for you. I understand that Razers demographic will for the most part have larger hands than mine. The part of the mouse protruding out of the right side is what made it uncomfortable for me. The thumb grip position between all the buttons also forced me to hold the mouse in one set position rather than being free to adjust my grip. Just didnt work for me. Also, you have to have razer synapse open all the time in order to use your profiles or use custom dpi values... the moment you close synapse, the dpi values revert to the default pre-programmed ones. I also just re-bought a razer mamba, and while I was able to save profiles to the on-board memory just a few months ago via razer synapse, close it, and continue to use those profiles just fine without synapse open when i originally tried out the mamba, now I cannot do that either. i.e. the new razer synapse doesnt allow you to save profiles to the on-board memory of a mouse that previously, just a few months ago mind you, was able to actually use its on-board memory... I dont know why razer did that but it really sucks imo. I remember when synapse didnt even ask you to log in, it was just plug and play. You chose whether to save the profile on synapse or the mouses on-board memory. Now your telling me I cant even use the on-board memory of a mice??? Im really sick of this always online/interconnected baloney these days. Other than that, the mouse was almost perfect. I really liked the buttons around the thumb grip. And there is something about the 16000 dpi 5g laser sensor in older razer mice that just feels so darn good... even newer mice like the logitech g pro dont feel as good to me. Of course, this is just personal opinion. Also, the shape may be just what your looking for for all I know - again, I was just stating how I felt about it. I really like that I have the option to dim the LEDs from 33% to 100%. At 100% brightness, the unit gets a bit warm, but I couldnt care less. Its just keeping the place warm for me until I come back -_o I now have my buttons set to change between Windows 10 virtual desktops by using a macro of "ctrl + win + left" & "ctrl + win + right". I also have the task manager on one, but I wasnt able to setup a macro to get through opening a program that needs UAC ok/cancel. I was a bit disappointed at that, but I will get over it. Ive owned every iteration of the Razer Naga and I cant imagine playing games without it. The 12 buttons on the side make it easy to switch weapons in FPS games and use entire action bar in MMOs just by using the thumb. I primarily use it for playing MMOs and having the entire damage rotation and targeting in one hand is very convenient. This iteration added ability to quickly step up or down DPI on the mouse making it more or less sensitive for when you need that extra precision. This is not as useful in MMO games but helps a great deal when playing a sniper in FPS games. Being able to create macros for the buttons makes it even more convenient if you need to do a sequence of events with a single button press. The mouse overall feels well built and fits my hand perfectly.
