Jen em 1 de dezembro de 2016 - Publicada na Amazon.com The first thing players will notice about Deponia is its stunningly-detailed art style. The second thing they will probably notice is the wacky environment and zany sense of humour. Deponia tells the story of Rufus, a young man who is desperate to leave his hometown and forge something better. He’s so desperate that he’ll emancipate himself with a makeshift rocket. This is quite understandable, since he literally lives in a junkyard. Although Rufus isnt the most lovable protagonist (he tends to be rather brusque and callous at times, and tends to take selfishness to almost unbelievable extremes), he does breathe a great deal of life into the adventure, making Deponia as riveting as a classic novel such as Little Women or Les Miserables. I know thats an exaggeration, but it really is hard to stop playing once you get into the swing of things. There are more twists and turns than a spaghetti dinner-for-eight, as he swiftly finds himself wrapped up in a conspiracy concerning a beautiful damsel in distress and a nation in turmoil. The cliches end here, though, and you’ll always find yourself eager to unravel more mysteries. The side characters include Rufus friend Wenzel, ex-girlfriend Toni (dont forget to exhaust her conversation options) and the traditional mad scientist. They breathe life into the game and make things both realistic and engaging. This will be considerably easier said than done, however. The puzzles do make logical sense (in hindsight), but a great deal of creative thinking and memorization is needed before you can, for instance, mix an energy drink to render the beautiful lady lucid and able to converse with you. Where did I leave the magic ginger and disgusting coffee? Fans of the two Discworld games for the PC and the ancient King’s Quest games will certainly feel nostalgic here. The solutions are often counter-intuitive, but there is a logic behind them. This is just the first game in the series of the deponia games. I bought this game previously from steam when it first came out years ago and I bought it again when it came out for the ps4. It is a point and click adventure game in the style of monkey island and others of lucasart titles. It has been updated a bit for ps4 controls and new built in faster travel speeds incorporated. You are the anti-hero, Rufus, whose main goal is to leave this planet and will do anything to achieve that. When he “rescues” a girl, he discovers there are bigger things going on. Will he make the right decision when it really counts? This is a point-and-click adventure game. Overall, I enjoyed the game. The plot itself was good but slow to develop. From what I understand, this is the first in a series of games. So, consider this the first episode. There are a few unresolved issues that will not be answered. The puzzles were a mixed bag. I figured most of them out on my own. For the few, I had to consult a walkthrough. It can be a bit frustrating when you are checking every nook and cranny or combining everything in your inventory so you can make some progress. And there were a lot of weird combinations. My main pet peeve was the controls. The tutorial was not really helpful and I spent the first 20 minutes, trying to remember what the tutorial said. Eventually, I got the hang of it but it took about 2 hours before I finally got a feel for it. You don’t know what a relief it was. Rufus moves slowly from one scene to another and having the option to teleport him from one room to another was like mana from heaven. Other than that, the game ran smoothly. There was no lag between screens. There were a few times where the subtitles don’t match what the characters were saying. There wasnt really bad language. More sarcasm than anything. The artwork/design is simple but gorgeous. I love the thick-line cartoon look. The voice acting is good and fit their characters. Normally, I would pass over these type of games (I play RPGs/Adventures/Simulation games) but I wanted to give it try. It took me about 20+ hours to finish the game and get 75% of the trophies. So, for the price, it was worth the entertainment. I might go back to get all the trophies but it doesn’t have much replay value otherwise. I would’ve preferred that the developer placed all the sequels on one disc, since I would love to see what happens next. However, this game is not for everyone. If you looking for fast pace with lots of action, this is not it. If you are looking for humor, decent plot and puzzle-solving, this is for you. In the end, I will be waiting for the sequel. I would love see what happens to Rufus. The game relies heavily on multiplayer with you having to select a region to play in and join a user created team (or create one) from the get go. Ideally this is great, as you can theoretically be going to battle in Mech style gang wars with people in your local region, all with your own heavily customized war machine. The problem is, there are nowhere near enough people playing this game for that the be successful. I am sure this game is thriving in Japan, but most of the US console market is invested in games like the COD series, etc... to humor this one. If they didnt region lock the multiplayer and fixed the matchmaking and menus, this might be more enjoyable. Theres not much fun in an endless string of "Destroy all AI enemies" maps. The level of customization in this game is awesome though. You really do get to have a sense of ownership when you create your own AC and bring it to the battlefield, though the menus are pretty boring to navigate through. Other than the feeling of ownership you get from making your own AC, theres a TON to be desired. Very outdated graphics(too much brown), a terrible campaign mode with a convoluted story and cheesy dialog, and a broken multiplayer mode. The only reason I am giving this 3 stars, and not less, is that I didnt play it when the game was brand new so I am giving it the benefit of the doubt that there were way more people playing when it was first released. I can see the potential level of fun playing with and against other human players. As of today though, finding anyone in the multiplayer mode is like navigating through the desert in search of shade and water. So if you buy now, you will most likely have to suffer through just playing against super boring AI opponents. Following in the footsteps of Armored Core 4 and Armored Core: For Answer, this game makes significant improvements on the games engine and base mechanics. That said, this game greatly assumes that you have played previous Armored Core games. The in-game tutorial is short and will not adequately equip you for some of the harder missions, and certainly not for Player-versus-Player combat. The finest parts of the game must be learned through experience, from other players, or through faqs, walkthroughs, and the like. For those who havent played previous Armored Cored games please read this section: This is a fast-paced mech game where you will have an assortment of armaments at your disposal to take down a variety of enemies. You will have everything from handguns, rifles, gatling guns, several energy weapons, and the famous blades and laser blades. Your enemies will be anything from helicopters to other armored cores. The Story and Order Missions will take you through the main story and side missions, but the main draw is playing against other players. A new feature to this games is the ability to form a Team. Your team will acrew points from your completed missions and battles, unlocking new parts. Your team can also stake your claim on a territory in any of the eight areas of the game. This feature allows you to have allies that will greatly help your chances when facing other players online. Lastly, you can also sign-up to be a mercenary, allowing yourself to be drafted into another players Story or Order mission. This helps spice things up a bit. Overall, you have yourself a difficult game that will surely leave you tweaking your Armored Core for days, weeks, and months to come. I havent played multiplayer so I cant speak for that. Ive been playing the AC series for years too and this is kind of a new level of boring. The AC construction gets boring really fast, you unlock more parts as you go through the story but those parts are more or less old parts with different skins and stats. Not like in previous AC titles where you unlock some fun looking laser rifles and awesome shoulder mounted grenade launchers. Painting/customizing is better though with more detailed paint jobs. Combat has improved with a change in the controls. Now when a weapon is empty you can swap it out with another you have stored on yourself. There is now a sort of rack/paper/scissors element to combat with weapons and armor being three different types: Kinetic, chemical, and energy. This kinda makes some enemies annoying as they can be resistant to your primary weapons forcing you to use more ammo on them. A fan of the series may want to try this, personally Im kinda turned off by it but will probably pick it up again later when the urge strikes. The instructions call for downloading the controller software, but that is for Windows only (once you find it on the site) and I have a Mac. I downloaded some Mac software but it kept quitting unexpectedly. At one point I was convinced that I needed to buy additional controller hardware. After I started downloading a Windows VM image so that I could then download the controller software, another reviewer (thank you) pointed out that the controller software only discovers the IP address and all configuration is done through the web at the access point IP address. That grossly simplified things for me. I queried my DHCP server for the devices IP address (the only TP-Link device in the list of clients), logged in using the default credentials (which required searching the web), and I was off to the races. Once I realized that the instructions created more problems than solutions, all was well. This is a 5-star product if they would exclude the configuration instructions. I am docking it one star for the misleading instructions. My existing router/AP is on one side of a large house, creating dead zones on the other floors at the opposite end of the house. I installed this AP on the side of a bookshelf in my home office at the opposite end of the house, and now my home is flooded with 2.4GHz and 5GHz of WiFi goodness. In fact, my cell phone prefers this signal over the (already very good) existing router/AP signal in every room except where the existing router/AP is located. If you have dead zones where an ethernet port is located, buy this, plug it in, mount it, then throw away the instructions. You will be happy with the purchase. Log into your router and view network devices (or dhcp history) to find its IP, then connect to that ip in your browser. The AP uses dhcp by default, so you should be able to find its address easily. After connecting to the web UI, it will ask for a password (default was admin:admin I think). I bought this for residential use, to extend wifi to the back rooms of the house. Dissapointed with residential routers and extenders by Netgear and Asus that would drop out or crash periodically, I turned to this. I already had ethernet run through the closets and walls, so this was a good fit, as I could just punch through the wall to mount it up high, and power it with POE. I just had to buy a gigabit poe injector along with this unit, as my router is not gigabit POE.  iCreatin 48V35W Gigabit Power over Ethernet POE Injector Adapter Power supply,1000Mbps IEEE 802.3af/at Compliant, Up to 100 Meters (328 Feet) This product supports ceiling rail mounting (commercial buildings), ceiling tile mounting (also commercial), and keyhole ceiling/wall mounting. The hardware for all options is provided, though the screws for wall mounting are a little too short to go through drywall into a stud, and the drywall anchors are the bad hex type that do not expand and can push too far into the wall. A 12v quality power supply is provided as well, if you do not intend to use POE. No ethernet cable is provided. Performance and compatability on various channels is very good. Range is excellent. This is a commercial grade product. It supports 99 wireless clients. It does not need to be restarted or fooled with once set up, as it is designed for 24/7 load. The web interface is clean and simple to allow managing the AP. You do not need to use their EAP software. SSH is supported as well. The unit does not do routing, NAT, etc. Use a router/gateway for that. VLAN and management VLAN is supported. Portal is also suppoted, which allows you to give tokens out to users for temporary access (like giving patrons in a restaraunt wifi for 1 hour). You can disable the front LED status light (default green when on). The ethernet port does not flash. 2.4 and 5 gig bands have excellent range when mounted up high. Devices with line of sight get 800+ mbps connections over AC. Dumb devices (pcs, phones, android TV) that have both 2.4ghz and 5ghz will be automatically connected to the 5ghz band if signal strength is good, which is a nice feature to clean up wifi congestion. Been using this for some months without issue, so I purchased a second, to replace an existing ap and extend coverage. They never bog down or need to be restarted. I have worked with many of the higher end APs (I used to be a wireless engineer & RF designer), and this unit blew my socks off on how well it worked and the features vs. cost. (One note - if you are using this with a VPN, you may need to lower frame sizes at your router. If your VPN crashes your DSL, you will need to look at that. I had that issue and reduced frame size at the router and fixed it). This unit can do everything from SNMP, VLANs, fencing (guest networks), multi-band (I use both, and they work fine), full MAC filtering and ACLs, and it even has management software! It can do variable channel width, auto channel, adjustable Tx power, and can load balance with other TP-Link APs to make sure 1 AP does not have too many clients on it. It can also perform QoS traffic prioritization and rogue AP detection. My only negative is that the connections are on the outside of the unit, so you may not want to have it where someone can mess with it (like kids in schools, etc). It even has ceiling grid mounting, so I would not hesitate to deploy this at a small office. Performance has been very good, and it just runs and runs. Never need to reboot it or anything. Get the PoE injector to mount it anywhere. In my opinion, this unit really comes close to matching up with units costing many times more than this one. Just plug into your network I own two. My first one was supposed to go outside, but it worked better than my preexisting inside access point, so I left the first one inside (it looks nice), and bought another for outside. I havent set up the second one for outside because it is now cold and the signal from the first one is covering more of my outside space than the one I had before. No one gives me free stuff....
