I came from the Corsair K70 RGB with Cherry red MX switches. Let me start with the build and quality, it is amazing. Solid feel and the lighting behind the white key caps are very bright and eye catching. It definitely looks like a premium keyboard. With all of that being said I dislike it for the one thing it’s meant for typing. I’ve never had so many typos and windows key press errors. While playing PUBG, Fornite and Counter Strike I hit the windows key more times I could count. If you’re a gamer you know that causes you to jump out of the game. I do feel like the keys are higher than what I am use to. The switches have a longer travel time to actuate. In my honest opinion going from the Corsair to Cherry Reds to this was a huge mistake for me. The trade off is the beauty over functionality. I’m choosing to go back and go with the Corsair K95 Plantium. It’s a true and trusted for me. This was purely from my experience and that is the only reason I deducted one star. I also would like to mention I have smaller hands and could be the cause of it. All of my Corsair keyboards came with wrist rest and this keyboard did not come with one. The first is that the default, and unchangeable, lighting mode is "breathing", which cycles the lighting on and off at an interval. This is fine if you have the Razer software installed as you can change it, but if you do not, there is no way to change it to a constant backlight. That was the minor annoyance. The main problem is longevity, which in my case was just over one year. The E key on my board does not respond half the time, and as the warranty is only a year, there is no way to fix it, so Im left with a $99 hunk of metal. Save your money and look for another keyboard which uses Cherry MX switches. This my first Razer keyboard (first Razer anything really) and I fell in love with the feel and response time, the slickness & the clickyness of this keyboard. the lighting is actually pretty bright even though the lighting falls on a dark background. the only thing that would have made this keyboard ultimate is if they put a couple of USB ports on it, made the cord detachable and maybe made it spill proof and the underside metal and not plastic. My only nitpick about this keyboard really is that they didnt make all the symbols on the keyboard able to be illuminated (ex. ~!@#$%^ etc.) Overall this is a pretty solid keyboard and every bit worth the money. Its heavy duty, it clicks loud and feels smooth to type with. Amazing gaming keyboard for LoL and WoW. Updating my review because after heavy gaming for only two years, the qwer keys start to quit and the spacebar has sunk in so far on one side that it will only respond on the other side. Have to keep resetting the space key. My logitech keyboard, however has lasted for 5 years under heavy gaming pressure and still works completely. Switching back. Just like my matching Razer mouse that quit after short use. Love the concept and light up but too much sparkly and not enough worky worky. Razer synapse is pretty easy to use although I find the settings sometimes change on their own and reset to default. Just a software issue though and they are constantly updating it anyway. I use it to hold my Win10 page file, the Google Chrome cache files, Internet Explorer temp files, and any other applications that require the use of "temp" files (Word, Excel, Pinnacle Studio, Google Earth, et al). However, the supplied Acronis cloning software - while appreciated, did not work properly when cloning my Samsung 850EVO 120GB SSD onto this M.2. My Windows 10 OS drive (previously mentioned) while cloned successfully, the lock screen kept flickering and did not respond to any commands. So I attempted to clone using EaseUS, which resulted in a BSOD when booting for the first time. Was finally able to successfully clone my drive using Paragon Migrate OS to SSD 4.0. A piece of software that I have had a license for over 3 years - it has never failed me. It is also wise to update your BIOS firmware before installing this hardware as ones motherboard may not recognize this as a drive until the PCIE to M.2 is recognized with newer firmware. This was my case on the ASROCK Z97 Pro4 M. I got this thing for a steal, but Im a bit lukewarm on the MSRP, think thats a bit too much for what it is. As far as performance goes this is incredibly anecdotal but from the end of POST and all the BIOS stuff to a completely ready-to-go desktop takes about 2 seconds for Kubuntu 16.04 and 5 seconds for Windows 10, much much faster than my WD Black HDD. I went straight from an HDD to this SSD and the difference is incredible, not sure how much of an improvement it would be over a SATA SSD. The marked read/write speeds are much faster than any Ive seen on a SATA SSD but again, no personal experience, your mileage may very. All around great piece of kit for the money I paid. It took a bit of patience to get my motherboard to detect this unit and a whole lot more to install Windows 7 on it. With the latest FW update, the major issue was ironed out but the LED is now constantly on. And while I still have not installed Windows 10, I think I have accepted the shortcomings but its still bugging me. The main advantage of this unit is that the speeds are well above my Samsung Pro SSDs at 1000MB/s read and 700MB/s writes. And no more cabling.. However that was not why I purchased the unit, it was because I needed a drive and this was purchased at Amazon at a very competitive price. The first is that the default, and unchangeable, lighting mode is "breathing", which cycles the lighting on and off at an interval. This is fine if you have the Razer software installed as you can change it, but if you do not, there is no way to change it to a constant backlight. That was the minor annoyance. The main problem is longevity, which in my case was just over one year. The E key on my board does not respond half the time, and as the warranty is only a year, there is no way to fix it, so Im left with a $99 hunk of metal. Save your money and look for another keyboard which uses Cherry MX switches. My only nitpick about this keyboard really is that they didnt make all the symbols on the keyboard able to be illuminated (ex. ~!@#$%^ etc.) Overall this is a pretty solid keyboard and every bit worth the money. It has a hard rubberized plastic around corners allowing for a decent grip and making it somewhat easy to put the phone in and slip out without causing damage. It also has a hard plastic back with rubberized corners just slightly raised so you can set it down without worrying about the camera. The Note 4 fits perfectly snug inside and the power/volume buttons have no gap so feel nice and flush. I personally like the flaps to cover the usb/headphone port, they go in nice and snug and seem durable. There is easily enough open room to grab the s pen and also use the heart rate monitor on back. Overall it is a very nice case for the price. The only "con" is at least on mine, the bottom isnt perfectly flush just under the home button. But this has a slight advantage as it gives juuuust enough room to easily swipe your thumb at an angle over the fingerprint scanner. Ive had many smartphones and have gone through many cases, and I can honestly say that this is my favorite. I got the clear version for the Note 4. Its the perfect blend between a rubber/TPU case and a hard plastic case. The sides feel soft like rubber, and the back feels like soft plexiglass. Its nice to be able to see the entire phone through this crystal clear case. The rubber on the sides covering the volume and power buttons is firm, but very easy to press, and you can feel the clicks of the buttons. All the cut-outs for the ports are perfectly aligned. The edge at the bottom of the case below the home button does dip down slightly, but I dont mind. The back of the case is pretty much flush with the camera lens, but there are are tiny feet on the back of the case in the corners that lift the lens and back of the case off whatever surface you set it on. It does say "Ringke FUSION" on the bottom right edge, but on the clear version it is in slightly raised clear letters and looks very tactful. The included template for tracing your own insert to put between the phone and the case is an interesting concept. The bonus screen protector is good quality and covers the main part of the screen, but not the bezels on the side, which Ive heard are slightly curved on this phone and hard for screen protectors to stick to. This one seems to fit nicely and does not show any signs of halo effect (protector peeling away from the curved edges). I thought this might be a temporary case and screen protector until finding something more expensive, but now Im just going to keep this one permanently. Highly recommended! I dropped my phone twice today (but only from about foot off the ground), onto concrete, and its still perfect. The only thing I dont like about the case is the port covers. Its not that theyre bad, but they could use to be a little tighter fit (specifically the charging cover). Its somewhat loose when pushed in. Nothing major though and I wouldnt even dock a star for it. The shield that the case comes with, is sub-par though. Its too narrow (doesnt really go to the edge of the visual screen, and is FAR from the edge of the phone). Also, mine doesnt have the loose defect near the port. I was previously using a very good corded Sennheiser headset but the cable kept getting run over or tangled in my chair, so it’s great having zero anxiety around that (plus, 20 hour battery life? This headset is loud and if you fiddle with the equalizer enough, you will have a great pair of speakers on your head. I listen to electronic music a ton, and its super important that I hear the different levels that the certain song gives - these do an amazing job. Even vocal driven songs sound great. The bass is a little high, but I turned that down so that the treb and the bass are pretty equal. (Ive included my equalizers for iTunes and the engine for those that are interested so they can check it out.) The next best thing is the comfort. Oh my goodness, are they comfortable. Ive been wearing them for a while now and I can see how people say they are stiff when you first get them, but they will loosen after you wear them enough. They are causing a tiny bit discomfort, but I have faith that they will stretch. My ears also tend to be very sensitive are get very irritated after a little while when they have something pressing against them, but the ear covers are exceptional. Very roomy for my ears and there is nothing irritating them for the time I have been wearing the headset. I am however going to jump straight into the one problem they have. There is a major clicking in the mic when I use the given sound card with the mirco plug in. Its horrifying how loud the clicking is. I am pretty sure this is a problem with the sound card - not the software. A lot of people have been addressing this clicking issue for a year now and Steelseries is really horrible about the issue and has no fix for it. The only ACTUAL FIX for the headset is using the 3.5mm jacks with the soundcard instead of the micro USB - but you lose the lights on the headset if you used the 3.5mm. Funny thing is, I intended to use this headset with the Siberia USB External Soundcard anyways because I heard there were sound issues and mic issues with the given sound card. So I knew from the get-go that I wasnt going to use the lights on the headset. It still sucks incredibly because the biggest selling point for this headset is the color changing lights. The fact that you cant even use them without having a clicking mic, is why I gave them 3 stars. 150 dollars for a headset thats supposed to have lights but you cant use - is pretty awful. I would really like this headset to 100% amazing. Except the problems the mic has, along with Steelseries hardly caring about their defective products is a true bummer. I can live with it however and am pretty pleased. Build quality is excellent on this piece and everything feels to be built with high quality materials Cons - its super huge and doesnt sit around my neck very well when I want to take it off but dont want to put it down. For this review, Ill be comparing this mouse to the Logitech G502. I recently purchased both mice and have had a few weeks to use both. They are two of the most popular gaming mice on the market and direct competitors, so this comparison should prove useful for some. First off, this is the most beautiful mouse Ive ever seen. The build quality is incredible and a huge step above any mouse Ive used before. The aluminum chassis, rubberized top and sandpaper-like sides make for an incredibly well crafted device. The switches have what I would consider elegant actuation, with good tactile feel that is smooth with a satisfying, muted click noise. The scroll wheel feels elegant as well, with a really nice rubber material and super smooth scrolling action. The LED implementation is also really nice, with a beautifully lit scroll wheel area and brilliant illumination on the back of the mouse. This mouse illuminates the mouse pad and just looks really great, with the option to cycle through the RGB colors or use static colors. In short, its the best built and best looking mouse Ive seen, and possibly the best looking peripheral Ive ever used- on par with Corsairs gorgeous keyboards. Compared to the G502, this mouse is a step above in build quality and looks. The tracking on this mouse is excellent. It contains a pixart 3360 sensor, regarded as the best optical sensor on the market. The tracking is extremely accurate. The G502 contains a 3366 (Logitechs variant of the same sensor), so they are very similar. Having said that, I do feel that the G502 is slightly more accurate and responsive. Its hard to articulate what the difference is, its more of a feel you get using both mice. The G502 just seems to track basically perfectly, whereas I did have slightly more trouble aiming with pinpoint accuracy with this mouse. In reality though, the difference would probably be imperceptible to most users. The location of the "sniper button" is right where your thumb would normally rest. This would present a problem, but the button does require decent actuation force, so I never found myself accidentally activating it while playing. I was able to lift the mouse just fine as well. I do like the location of the "sniper button" on the G502 a bit more, where its located just at the tip of your thumb. It totally prevents any accidental press of the button, and just felt a little more natural to me. Now we get to the main issue I have with this mouse, and the reason I deducted one star. The shape and weight of this mouse will not be for everyone. Its shorter than most mice, while also being a bit stocky and wide. I use a fingertip type grip where my palm sort of floats above the top surface of the mouse, so I didnt have much of an issue adapting to the shape. However for those with a true palm grip, I doubt they would find this mouse comfortable. I think its probably made mostly for claw grip, and probably most fingertip users will find it comfortable as well (such as myself). However in comparison to the G502, this M65 is decidedly less comfortable. The G502 fits me like a glove. I especially like the extended thumb rest on the G502, and I prefer the grippy textured sides to the sandpaper-like sides of this M65. Aiming and lifting just feels more natural on the G502 for me. The weight of this mouse is probably its major issue. It comes with 3 weights installed in the underside of the mouse, and its just plain heavy. With the weights installed, I found difficult in lifting the mouse without my fingers slipping, and quick wrist actions for aiming are a bit more difficult than on lighter mice. I find it interesting that a mouse marketed as an FPS mouse would be so heavy out of the box. I removed all 3 of the weights, and its definitely much better. The G502 is also considered a heavy mouse, but it comes without the weights installed. I think without weights, the M65 still feels slightly heavier than the G502. Its definitely something to keep in mind for people who prefer lighter mice. The mouse is just heavy, no getting around it. Other than the stock/short size and the weight, this mouse is incredible. It looks so elegant next to my Corsair K70 keyboard, and it just exudes a quality of build that Ive never seen in a mouse before. Most mice are full of plastic, as the G502 is. The M65 will instantly impress you with how well its made and how great it looks. However, looks are not enough for me to recommend this mouse over the G502. I think the G502 is probably the best mouse Ive ever used, even though it looks overly "gamery" and has a plasticy build quality. It just sports more cool features (free scroll wheel being my favorite) and is supremely comfortable. However for those of you who have owned Corsair mice in the past, or who prioritize looks over slightly better performance, the M65 Pro RGB is a wonderful mouse. I would consider it the second best mouse Ive ever used, and this is coming from a loyal MX518 and G400 user. I have had this mouse for over a year. The middle button started to malfunction which I have never experienced before, but because I loved this mouse so much I decided to just get another one and use my semi broken one on another PC. I un-boxed the new one and started using it immediately on my games. After only 2 hours, I noticed my thumb hurting as if i dragged it over sandpaper. Literally red and throbbing. The sides of this mouse have some sort of coating on it that must be non slip or something, its totally different than the same mouse from a year ago, which was very smooth and comfortable. Using this mouse is literally painful. If your a gamer and have the mouse in your hand for 10-15 hours a day, you will most likely have the skin rubbed off your index finger and thumb, because this awful sand paper coating is on both sides. They had a perfect mouse less the issue with the middle mouse button failing early...and now its totally worthless. Comparison Vid: [...] I was sick and tired of the Razer knock off clicky switches. It was nice for a couple months, but now it is quite irritating and unsatisfying to type on. Therefore I decided to get the Corsair Strafe RGB with MX Brown switches. DESIGN: Personally I like this design better than the Blackwidow. The Blackwidow seems to have a matte fingerprint/oil attracted finish to it. This keyboard however has a clean sleek design that trumps that Blackwidow. The finish on this keyboard seems to be fingerprint resistant and doesnt seem to stain as easy as the Blackwidow. ALSO IT COMES WITH THE OG CORSAIR SAILS LOGO (THANK YOU CORSAIR) not the new "Corsair Gaming" logo that everybody hated. KEYS: I have never owned a Cherry MX Keyboard until now and IT IS AMAZING TO TYPE ON. This keyboard has the option of MX Browns, Reds, or Corsairs "Silent Switches." I decided to get Browns because its halfway between a Red(Silent) and Blue (Clicky) switch, basically the best of both worlds. Browns are not as loud as blues, theyre nearly the same as Reds actually. Its just that Brown switches have a more tactile feedback feel when you type on them compared to Reds. The keycaps themselves on the other hand are similar in feel and look to the Razer keycaps. BUT Corsair includes a set of FPS and MOBA keycaps ALONG WITH a keycap puller so you can customize it to your needs. Props to Corsair for that. LEDS: The casing for the keycaps are clear so you get the maximum shine of color from the switches. Every switch has their own RGB LED that is customize able to what game youre gonna play. There are also two white LED strips on the side of the keyboard to add a nice clean finish to the keyboard. I have attached pictures to clarify. And there are 3 brightness settings for you to choose from. OTHER: Like I said before, Corsair throws in some extra accessories to sweeten the deal: -MOBA/FPS Keycaps -Keycap puller -Detachable wrist rest (which is quite comfortable to use actually) Now to the reason why Im giving this 4 stars... SOFTWARE: Im just gonna say it, the Razer Synapse software for the Chroma is much better than Corsairs CUE software. It took me about 30 minutes to an hour to figure out how to set a certain keycap a certain color. They do have instructions on their website, but its not clear enough for all the features. When I got my Razer Blackwidow Chroma, it was simple (INSANELY SIMPLE) to customize the LEDS to your specific needs. However for Corsair, it seems like theyre getting there but ever so slowly. For example you need to go to 3 or 4 different pages on Corsair software to set all the keys white and WASD a different color. It was just a very frustrating experience for me using the CUE software. Hopefully in the future it will be on the same level as Razers Synapse. OVERALL PROS: -Cherry MX Browns -Design -Price (Cheaper than Blackwidow Chroma) -Accessories (Keycaps/wrist rest) -USB Passthrough CONS: -CUE Software - No headphone/mic passthrough In the end, I recommend this keyboard to anyone who is looking for an upgrade or their first mechanical keyboard. The price of $149 is very much worth it considering all the extra accessories that come along with it. As for the software, give it some more time and Im sure major improvements will be made. Those felt amazing, so I thought. After around 10 minutes of typing and playing Battlefield 1, I realized these switches feel cheap and are not good for me. I did a bunch more research and decided I must have a keyboard with RGB lighting. Of all the keyboards that I saw through videos on YouTube, the Strafe was the most impressive. I tried to find a Strafe RGB with blue switches to mimic the Razer greens, but I could only find a refurbished one at Newegg for $150. Turns out there were issues with them and theyre no longer being made. I decided to go with the Reds because thats what many gamers I know use. I have been using this keyboard for 11 days now and I am very satisfied with it. The software is easy to use and allows for customization, the keys feel great when typing and when playing (FPS games that is), it looks really pretty, and it even has a USB port. But to use that you will need to plug in the second USB that is attached to the keyboards main cable. All in all, everything about this keyboard is absolutely wonderful. In case you didnt know, there are a few people that that frequent r/RGB Profiles on Reddit and the Corsair forums that create custom RGB lighting schemes that you can use with Corsair peripherals. Everyone can make custom profiles, but it is tough and is much easier to download profiles. I also own a Corsair M65 Pro and I found a guy through the Corsair RGB forums that lets you download free lighting schemes for all devices- so theyre in sync. He even has really great videos demonstrating the lights. He goes by "Schwitz". I am very satisfied with this keyboard. I attached a video of some of my favorite profiles. The USB pass through is really nice as well. If you wait for it to be on sale like $100 dollars for the RGB, then its a really good deal. There are some cons though: the cable is very thick and there is no cable management which might be a problem for some. The software is hard to use and only for windows no linus or mac software compatibility(there is a unofficial software called ckb for mac, and it works great). The pros: keys are nice and fast, I have the browns which have the really nice tactile feedback. The RGB is bright and can show really fun patterns and designs. The build great and solid even without the glossy metal like on the K70. One important thing to note is that on my personal keyboard one of the keys light went off and stayed off on the first day I got it. I tried unplugging and re plugging and restarting the software but no luck, the key still works but the light doesnt. It bugs me but is no problem cuz the key still works. Overall this is the best keyboard for the price and the pros overweight the cons. No extra drivers necessary on install, just plug and play. My biggest annoyance is the backlight not defaulting to “on” and scroll lock always has to be enabled to keep the lights up but for basic gaming and web browsing this isn’t a terrible unit. I like the mecha membrane action and feel. The keys are not too far apart but still spaced enough to provide depth. The mouse is a solid mouse. Wish I could reprogram the side keys to not change web pages. The scroll lock key is used to turn the backlight key on and off so if you use that key in applications well who knows what to do. The lettering on the keys (without backlight on) is hard to read even in good light, so if you hunt and peck type egads! I am sorta a type by feel borderline hunt and peck and it is rough so far after 7 days usage. There is a bit of an edge you can feel into your palm from the back edge of the mouse, nothing too bad but I feel it...rounded edge would have fixed that. The mouse has stayed backlit for a couple days, turned off other times. Now on to the pros...build quality is great for the money, heavy, pretty solid. The backlight looks really good to me, even coverage maybe could be brighter. The mouse looks very cool lit up. Price. The feel of the keys is quite nice in a medium softness but with clicks and clacks sound. This gets stars for even having backlight at this price. I am going to use it in my home studio and need the backlight for hunt and peck typing in low light. I have Corsair K70 keyboards and M65 and M95 mice that do not have the annoying turn on backlight thingie but they were 4 to 5 times more expensive. Not even a week has past and the mouse wheel is starting to squeak quite noticeably... I did not find any use for the playback media buttons since it does not work with anything beyond using VLC or Windows Media Player. Not long after the ctrl key felt off to me when I pressed it, but was easily fixed by popping the key back in. Based on my experience, its an okay product and I appreciate the fact that it has led since it helps me see what keys Im pressing at night. The build quality is decent enough besides the minor issues Ive stated above. I do not like the button placement for the back/forward page on the mouse because it makes it rather easy to accidentally click those buttons when using the mouse. I find it inconvenient that for some applications the led will shut off and I would have to reactivate it by clicking the screen lock key The dpi settings were a nice addition and I would have liked to see some included software however that may be asking too much... Anyway, I would recommend this combo if youre looking for cheap mouse and keyboard combo with led. I would like to note, compared to what Im used to the keyboard itself has a bit of weight to it. Its a solid pair, both work and look great and feel solid and I didnt have to think twice about the price which is always great. BUT, after about a month now, the quality is unfortunately showing through and I dont think I can strongly recommend this package for anyone who plans to do at least a moderate amount of gaming with them. Issues: -The keyboard has no onboard memory and the light has to be manually turned on each time, which isnt a huge deal except the button to power on the LEDs is also the scroll lock button for some strange reason. So this specifically effects working in spreadsheets for me, which I do on a regular basis, and I have to constantly turn the lights off and back on to be able to use the arrow keys to move around objects on screen, which is really annoying. -The LEDs on the keyboard look great, its very solid and a good color. However, the lights are behind the keys instead of actually inside each one, which means the light is hard to see through the key labels unless youre looking straight down. This isnt usually an issue on keyboards except the labels on the keys arent white so if the LED is off or you arent looking straight down at them youre basically looking at black keys and cant clearly see any of them. -The above issue wouldnt be a real issue if it wasnt for the lack of angle provided by the feet underneath the keyboard, flipping them out practically doesnt lift the keyboard at all so the keyboard is basically always just laying flat. -The mouse, unlike the keyboard for some reason, keeps its LED lights on all the time, even when the PC is shut down. Its not a serious issue, but it seems an odd design choice to have the mouse lights always on but the keyboard lights have to manually be turned back on on power up. -The last issue has only recently came up. Like I mentioned above Ive now had the product for close to a month, and the mouse scroll wheel has already started to squeak quite a bit from time to time unless scrolling very quickly. My biggest annoyance is the backlight not defaulting to “on” and scroll lock always has to be enabled to keep the lights up but for basic gaming and web browsing this isn’t a terrible unit. I like the mecha membrane action and feel. The keys are not too far apart but still spaced enough to provide depth. The mouse is a solid mouse. Wish I could reprogram the side keys to not change web pages. I will have to say that the keys on the keyboard could have a lot shorter throw(distance from where your finger press the key and the key reaches the end of its stroke). I fee that you have to press the keep to far down. I know some people may prefer this feel. The mouse feels well built and durable. This combo is a great combo for the home office. I really like the placement and organization of the multimedia keys also. The scroll lock key is used to turn the backlight key on and off so if you use that key in applications well who knows what to do. The lettering on the keys (without backlight on) is hard to read even in good light, so if you hunt and peck type egads! I am sorta a type by feel borderline hunt and peck and it is rough so far after 7 days usage. There is a bit of an edge you can feel into your palm from the back edge of the mouse, nothing too bad but I feel it...rounded edge would have fixed that. The mouse has stayed backlit for a couple days, turned off other times. Now on to the pros...build quality is great for the money, heavy, pretty solid. The backlight looks really good to me, even coverage maybe could be brighter. The mouse looks very cool lit up. Price. The feel of the keys is quite nice in a medium softness but with clicks and clacks sound. This gets stars for even having backlight at this price. I am going to use it in my home studio and need the backlight for hunt and peck typing in low light. I have Corsair K70 keyboards and M65 and M95 mice that do not have the annoying turn on backlight thingie but they were 4 to 5 times more expensive. Not even a week has past and the mouse wheel is starting to squeak quite noticeably... I did not find any use for the playback media buttons since it does not work with anything beyond using VLC or Windows Media Player. Not long after the ctrl key felt off to me when I pressed it, but was easily fixed by popping the key back in. Based on my experience, its an okay product and I appreciate the fact that it has led since it helps me see what keys Im pressing at night. The build quality is decent enough besides the minor issues Ive stated above. I do not like the button placement for the back/forward page on the mouse because it makes it rather easy to accidentally click those buttons when using the mouse. I find it inconvenient that for some applications the led will shut off and I would have to reactivate it by clicking the screen lock key The dpi settings were a nice addition and I would have liked to see some included software however that may be asking too much... Anyway, I would recommend this combo if youre looking for cheap mouse and keyboard combo with led. I would like to note, compared to what Im used to the keyboard itself has a bit of weight to it. Its a solid pair, both work and look great and feel solid and I didnt have to think twice about the price which is always great. BUT, after about a month now, the quality is unfortunately showing through and I dont think I can strongly recommend this package for anyone who plans to do at least a moderate amount of gaming with them. Issues: -The keyboard has no onboard memory and the light has to be manually turned on each time, which isnt a huge deal except the button to power on the LEDs is also the scroll lock button for some strange reason. So this specifically effects working in spreadsheets for me, which I do on a regular basis, and I have to constantly turn the lights off and back on to be able to use the arrow keys to move around objects on screen, which is really annoying. -The LEDs on the keyboard look great, its very solid and a good color. However, the lights are behind the keys instead of actually inside each one, which means the light is hard to see through the key labels unless youre looking straight down. This isnt usually an issue on keyboards except the labels on the keys arent white so if the LED is off or you arent looking straight down at them youre basically looking at black keys and cant clearly see any of them. -The above issue wouldnt be a real issue if it wasnt for the lack of angle provided by the feet underneath the keyboard, flipping them out practically doesnt lift the keyboard at all so the keyboard is basically always just laying flat. -The mouse, unlike the keyboard for some reason, keeps its LED lights on all the time, even when the PC is shut down. Its not a serious issue, but it seems an odd design choice to have the mouse lights always on but the keyboard lights have to manually be turned back on on power up. -The last issue has only recently came up. Like I mentioned above Ive now had the product for close to a month, and the mouse scroll wheel has already started to squeak quite a bit from time to time unless scrolling very quickly.
