Por Jack em 29 de novembro de 2011 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada Ill start this review off by saying that I have only played one other game in the Super Monkey Ball series (Game Boy Advance version), so I do not have extensive knowledge of the series. This game comes in traditional packaging for the 3DS, and has a small pamphlet showing how things work and introducing characters of the Super Monkey Ball series. As for the game in the 3DS, the splash screen is not the traditional 3D revolving logo, but a image that jumps up and down. The game is very easy to get, but relatively hard to master. The characters have no distinct differences in gameplay, so any one you choose will work the same as the others. You go through simple levels while getting bananas to reach a goal. The games level designs are very simple, ranging from basic lines to intricate designs that make you think. The game doesnt ever get very difficult, though, so there was a lack of intricacy somewhere in the designs. Theres bumpers around the edges of the levels, so youre not going to die easily (if at all). This is probably the most annoying thing about the game- you almost never die, so theres no point in collecting the bananas in the stage (30 get you a life). Compared to my experience with the Game Boy Advance version, this game seems like it was designed for the 10-and-under crowd. The motion sensor is very boring, actually, and is nowhere near as precise as the joystick imput. I got this game on sale for $10 here on Amazon, so Im not going to complain too much. I bought his because I had the basic ones that kept peeling up with the rubber case I had on my watch so I decided to try this one. After you put it on it doesn’t stick flat across the whole screen. You can see that the edge has a rind around it that is not quite sitting flat on the screen. In addition to that it doesn’t extend the the edge of the screen. There is room all the way around. While I don’t have the problem of it peeling up it doesn’t look very good. One positive is that it feels very strong and will most definitely protect against scratches and banging it into things. Probably would buy a different brand of the same type If I decided to try another one. When putting my hair in a pony tail a hair got stuck under the screen, and when I pulled it away the screen protector cracked. I would like a refund. Prior to that I was an MX510/MX518 user. So this is my first time delving into Zowie products. I did so under the recommendations from MANY people Ive gamed with competitively. Teammates, etc. Ill go into my thoughts now and give a rundown at the end. Coming from a deathadder that I always felt was just a little too big, the EC2-A fits my hand perfectly. I have a 17.5cm hand from the base of my palm to the tip of my middle finger, so pretty small. With that said, theres a few mm clearance from the tip of my index and middle finger to the edge of the mouse buttons. I use a palm/claw hybrid grip. The coating on this mouse is excellent. It feels almost like satin in your hand. Very smooth with just a hint of texture. Its VERY grippy once your hands get a little damp from sweat but can feel slippery if you have very dry hands. For me this isnt really an issue since within about 5 minutes of gaming my hand starts to perspire a bit. The mouse is weighted perfectly at around 80-85g.. not too light, and not too heavy. The shape is very comfortable in the hand. The EC shape is the PERFECT shape for accommodating ANY style of grip whether it be palm, claw, fingertip or a hybrid. Next: The sensor. From all the testing Ive done, the 3310 implentation is flawless in the EC2-A. The Pixart 3310 sensor is well regarded in the peripheral community as being an excellent sensor, only being edged out by Logitechs exclusive Pixart 3366 in both the G502 and G303. However, the 3310 is more than capable of giving you rock solid results. There is zero NOTICEABLE acceleration in this mouse. The reason I say noticeable is that there is acceleration in every sensor except the 3366, but its only able to be produced under a perfect/specific scenario. Regardless, its not enough to feel it. Its a small enough effect to still consider this mouse PERFECT in terms of tracking accuracy. The 3310 has a PCS(basically the max speed in which it will track) of OVER 5 m/s.. and in any normal gaming situation(no matter how intense), no normal human will reach those speeds during fast swipes. This mouse has some of the lowest lift off distance Ive ever experienced, and the good thing about the 3310 is that it allows you to change LOD settings without having to use a special lens for the sensor(which zowie used to do). Low LOD is a must for any competitive gamer, especially those that play with low sensitivity on games like CS:GO. The LOD out of the box is less 2mm. A little more than 1 cd width. I find this to be the perfect setting but you can set the mouse based on the type of mouse mad you use, whether soft or hard. There is zero cursor smoothing with this mouses 3310...and it feels very raw in desktop and in game. Its the first mouse Ive used that truly feels like Im getting 1:1 hand to cursor movement. Theres a reason Zowie chose this sensor. Construction: The mouse feels very durable. Its light, but it feels very well made. There is zero rattle. Zero noises when I squeeze the shell. The shell does not flex or give when you exert excess pressure on it. Switches: Here is one area I thought about taking a star away for. The side buttons. Which I will get to. The main buttons use Huano blue switches. Now, before you get on the Omron bandwagon, the Huanos function just as well, and will last just as long. The ONLY difference is the huanos are a bit stiffer as far as actuation goes. Huanos provide even more tactile feedback, and a louder click when pressed over omrons...but the main difference is the actuation force required. I have small hands and they do not fatigue me at all, no matter how much I spam. I in fact love these switches. You will NEVER get a mis-click with this mouse, and these main button switches. They are a good middle-ground switch. Now, the side buttons on this mouse can definitely be improved on by zowie. The reason I didnt take a star away is because they function perfectly and are shaped nicely, and put in a perfect location relative to where your thumb is placed such that you can easily roll your thumb upwards to depress them without changing your grip on the mouse. The problem is they are mushy and have some pre-travel to them before they actuation and coming from a mouse like the Deathadder which I feel has the best side buttons on the market..it took some getting used to. Zowie needs to change up how they implement them to make them not have this amount of pre-travel. However, with that said... the pre-travel on these switches make it almost impossible to mis-click them since youd know you were about to press the switch before it ever actuates. I have never misclicked a side button on this mouse. I did it ALL THE TIME with the the deathadder. Both the 4G and 3G versions. This is my only complaint with the mouse. Other information: The DPI steps on this mouse are 400/800/1600/3200 and for hardcore gaming, this is all that is needed. If you come from a mouse that allows you to change your dpi to more selections, it shouldnt take long to get used to unless you used a uselessly high DPI like 5000 or above, which no one needs even if you play on triple screens, or 4k monitors. You simply do not need that high of a DPI, and truth be told every sensor on the market performs BETTER at lower dpi settings because it wont have to rely on interpolation. Zowie is one of the only manufacturers on the market not involving itself in the "DPI RACE" that every other company out there hypes & markets on their mice. They give pro players what they ask for, and that is a simple plug & play mouse that doesnt rely on drivers, or shove software down your throat in order to use the mouse. You can change your polling rate and lift off distance, basic quality of life changes. Other than that, the mice is set up optimally for EVERYONE right out of the box, the only exception being your lift off distance settings, which for hard pad users you will have to change when plugging the mouse in by depressing and holding the specified button for the particular setting you want. This mouse just works. And it performs well beyond expectation. In summary: If youre a hardcore gamer, especially an FPS gamer looking for a no-nonsense mouse, if your main concern is EXCELLENT tracking, and having zero acceleration, prediction or angle snapping.. this is the mouse for you. If you want a LAN READY mouse that is plug & play with the essential dpi steps.. this is the mouse for you. Zowie hit it out of the park with this mouse. If youre a CS player, well.. HeatoN designed the EC shape, and zowie took that shape and put one of the best sensors available in it... and fixed the main issues such as the button click latency, and scroll wheel. I strongly believe this is one of the best competitive gaming mice on the market today. I use a claw/fingertip grip and found I could never quite get comfortable with it. If the width of the back part came in a little bit, especially on the right side, I would have kept it. Thats just personal preference though and no fault in the mouse itself. I removed one star because the side buttons are extremely bad. They press in way too far before they actuate and they feel very flimsy like they could break at any time. Also the one I bought had a defect with the sensor where it would sometimes continue to drift in the last direction I moved it even though I stopped moving the mouse. Purchased to replace disintegrating pads on a seven year old Koss KTXPRO1 and they fit well once I figured out how to pop the speakers out of the headset. But I was operating blindly with zero idea if I was doing it correctly or getting ready to break my favorite pair of headphones. I got it done but how hard would it be for them to print instructions on the back of the package? They are a bit thin, too- I was a tad bit disappointed in that. Fit great, but ONLY for KOSS portable headphones like Porta-Pro, the old discontinued Pro-25, etc. You need to pop-out the diaphragm modules, put the foamies on, then snap the diaphragms back in place on the old Pro-25 headphones (thats what pinches the outer edge of the foamie in place). Never had to replace Porta-Pro foamies yet, but i assume its the same situation. The opening in one of the disks flat surfaces, that you stretch over your headset earpiece, is round and 1 1/4 inches in diameter. The space within the cushion that fits the outer diameter of your headset earpiece appears to be 1 5/8 inches diameter. Id have known this product didnt match my needs if some other review had mentioned these dimensions, so there they are. They are very nice cushions if theyre the size you need. The old pads were crumbling. I didnt like the sound with the old pads anyway and I thought, what the heck, lets change it up a bit. Low and behold, these pads fit perfectly AND they make the hd414 sound soooo much better. Tighter bass, fuller sound, less harsh highs. The balance is great now. Really fun sounding. I wish Amazon would add a way to indicate if a product exceeds expectation. This is a great camera for the price. I paid 69.00 Jan 5 of 2018. Ive been using the SJCAM SJ4000 for over 6 years as a dash cam. Works great. Inexpensive. I wont drive without a dashcam of some sort and these have been working perfectly. I use the clamp mount to my rear view mirror base so it wont fall. I dont trust the suction cups which have always eventually fallen for me. I use a 64gb card and get over 6 hours of record time, allows me to download files less frequently. I also use it on casual bicycle trips, although its a pretty shaky picture. I put one in my moms car because she was accused of rear-ending someone who had actually hit the car in front of them and tried to make it look like my mom caused it. Fortunately, she had no damage to the front of her car so it was clear she didnt cause the accident. BE CAREFUL BUYING these as there have been many fake/counterfeits. Ive tried some of them and they may be worth the lower price but they perform poorly. Buy from SJCAM directly and Im sure youll be safe. I have an Apple/Mac computer and use FCPX to edit videos. These files work/process well. The files are.MOV. Thats important for me because AVI files dont seem to work directly with my computer/software. Of course, they can be converted but that adds to the time to process. Ive owned GoPro in the past and they, of course, are a better camera but for what Im using it for I dont need the extra quality/cost. An important feature for me is the Timestamp. I think GoPro still does not have this as a built-in feature but I may be wrong. Also important to me is the wide angle lens. This is the widest of the less expensive action cameras. They boast 170 degrees, not sure if thats correct because if it was 180 degree Id be able to see things that are at 90 degrees of the camera and I cant. As it is I can almost see the windshield pillars so Im sure its close to 170 and if nothing else I can say its getting everything in front of me and at a 45-degree angle from that. The FOV (field of view) can be changed if you dont like the distortion. I wish it where designed so you could get to the card without having to unplug the power cord (I have it running on a 12v lighter outlet). I use it on 12v so it starts automatically when I start my car, I never really have to think about it, just look up once in awhile to make sure the power cord hasnt backed out from the lighter socket. Theres not much Id change about it, maybe some date options, Id like it to show the day of the week. The USB port has been the only weak spot. Ive had 2 fail on me because I regularly plug/unplug power to get to the SD card. Ive always bought a SquareTrade warranty and they have covered the repair. I suppose I should mention the battery cover also, sort of hard to remove because of the small size of the button holding it in but Ive been able to make it work. I have big fingers. I think it could be easily redesigned to be more user-friendly. I notice they have stopped supplying the open air case that has a tripod mount screw in it. The LE of Guilty Gear Xrd comes with: Special Art slip cover (same as pictured,) custom case in the shape of "The Backyard" book from the game, artbook called the codex which is slightly larger than a PS3 game case, a vocal OST of 10 songs, the game, and a key chain in the shape of main character Sols belt buckle that says "FREE." The artbook called codex also has detailed entries for every relevant character in the Guilty Gear franchise as well as some extra artwork and fun facts. Give lots of background on the franchise outside the game and has quality art inside as well. The box it comes in is shaped like a hollowed out book and looks great on display, same with the slip cover on or off. The game itself is great. Several offline modes such as combo and game mechanic challenges. A character upgrade mode called M.O.M. (also can be played online), and a host of online options mainly player and ranked matches but with a host of lobbies and features. A gallery where you can unlock the character Sin for free, as well as music from past games that can be selected in matches, artwork, and various things to customize your online profile. Story mode is basically a long series of cutscenes and dialogue but is animated and presented extremely well and can be paused/saved at any point. Length is about the size of the average anime season. Arcade acts as an opening for each characters motivations for story mode. Largest positive, cross play with PS4 and PS3! Played about 3 hours straight with a friend in Montreal Canada, while I live in Georgia USA and had 3F lag as indicated by the game. Btw the game shows your moment to moment lag! when online. This is all crossed play while he was on PS4 and Im on 3. Only down side is the graphical jealousy you will have when you see the PS4 version. It is simply a cleaner presentation than the PS3 obviously and no effect on the actual game. The cutaways for supers and quality of character models in opening/ending/story modes are more closely represented to the PS4 models, than the ingame PS3 models which are still amazing, but its a noticeable difference. That said the game runs the same on both a smooth 60fps with no slowdowns. Lots of content to playthrough if you like the actual fighting portion of fighting games! I know its huge and probably wont ever get in the way, but thats not the point... dont even RISK hindering my mouse movement. Ever. Regards, Every Serious FPS Player Thankfully due to the size, its fairly easy to avoid, and it has a lot of positives. The rubberized hexagonal patterned base grips the desk well, so it didnt slide around. The surface is somewhere in between a Goliathus Speed and Control, but feels smooth like a Speed, which is something Ive really wanted to try lately (and so far its great). The size is awesome, if you have the desk space. Smooth, soft stitched edges, no irritation on my skin. And most optical sensors track as well as they can on it (laser sensors, not so much). You can get a plain black version from Razer, but otherwise the logo is green - which is a negative in my opinion. "Hi, were going to Chroma everything, now let us dictate the color scheme by putting green on the pad". Not a big deal, but... thats two rookie mistakes. The mouse pad I had before this one had a plastic top and when I upgraded to a gaming mouse I realized that mouse control was more of an exact science than I had originally thought. The fabric top offered more precise control of the mouse, and sometimes centimeters count in gaming. As mouse pads go, I would say that the primary factor to consider is a fabric top vice a plastic top. I bought the Razer mouse pad for the brand status, but I would say that any fabric mouse pad will do. Perhaps the only other factor to consider would be size. I havent seen the need for a larger mousepad, but if that is important to others, there are larger versions available. Unfortunately we probably got a unit from the first production run, so there are many issues that still need to be sorted out before you should buy this. So far I havent been able to print anything other than a 1" tall sample part. Here are some of the problems: 1) Filament sometimes gets stuck during removal. Makerbot suggests using pliers to pull out filament, but doing this yanks the Smart Extruder off the cart, which is apparently bad for it. Had to disassemble my Smart Extruder to remove the filament plug that had formed inside. 2) Calibration seems broken. The nozzle scrapes along the build plate even after multiple rounds of leveling and calibration. 3) Filament jams repeatedly. Was unable to actually print after the initial test part. Likely due to the calibration issue described above. Fails about 15-20 seconds into print. Resuming or restarting the print does not help. 4) Slow firmware. Takes a very long time to boot up, to upgrade firmware (15 minutes), to calibrate, to start printing, etc. If youve used any other Makerbot product youll be pretty disappointed by this. 5) Poorly designed filament guide. The Z18 uses a long flexible plastic straw as a guide, and it kind of floats near the print head. It occasionally gets caught or kinked against the lid, which yanks the Smart Extruder off the cart. Unlike the Replicator 2, for example, the straw does not fit into the print head. It just dangles. Observations based on firmware 1.2.0.112. Update: Makerbot sent out a new Smart Extruder via overnight mail. Now it will start extruding without immediately jamming, but I still cant print. Nothing seems to stick to the base plate, so when I come back after 30 minutes to check on things, theres usually a huge glob of molten filament around the extruder tip and a birds nest of extruded filament scattered around the build plate. They finally released a better smart extruder, which you have to pay for. The amount of time spent on getting a good print is far too high - I could send out files to print for cheaper. PREVIOUS: For the cost, this printer should be far beyond its experimental phase and should be a consumer-ready device -- not something one has to spend hours toying with in order to get it working. The 1st printer we received had multiple issues and errors -- A) The printer could not detect that the door was closed. B) The ribbon cables inside the machine were not fully seated. C) The "smart" extruder was not being detected. D) Once printing, prints could not stick to the print bed without using a raft (Im still testing options to correct this). E) The updated firmware does not work (causing a "carriage disconnected" issue, and then an error in which the printer couldnt detect the smart extruder) User support (I have a MakerCare Plan) has to be the worst support I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I was on the phone that first evening for over an hour just waiting for a human to answer. I had submitted a case ticket as well, with no reply. I finally reached a human the next morning and he was completely clueless and unhelpful -- all he could do was request the printers diagnostic logs so an expert could review them and get back to me (I emailed the logs to him, with no reply of receipt, and no answer to correct the printers issues -- it has been 2 weeks!!!). I found a user group on Google for Makerbot Owners and found more support and answers there than Makerbots User Support or website. I reseated the interior cables, factory reset the printer, and rolled back firmware (seemed to solve most of the issues with the smart extruder and carriage being detected). I then printed a couple test models that come on the printers storage and a model of my own. There were a few hiccups, but the prints turned out fairly well (hence the rating above 1*). I havent solved the issue of successfully printing without a raft yet, but the model I created and printed turned out quite well (except it could have used some supports, which I didnt check ON). Other CONs: The spool should have a simple hinged piece to keep pressure on the filament, so it cannot unravel (seems like it would be simple to implement). The electronic noises the printer makes are annoying (not the mechanical noises). The bright lights inside the printer dont turn off (Im not sure if they can be turned off) The web cam is not very useful Final Comments: We sent the printer back and got a new one -- got error code 13 and 1500 on the new printer. I reseated the cables, which fixed both errors. I am printing now, and it seems to be working fine now. Hopefully I can work with the printer to get the best results, but this printer is definitely not ready for regular consumers. Sound quality is clear and there is a bit of bass with playback. Depending on the app you use for music playing these will auto connect and turn on with your music which is a plus for me. All apps do not support this feature. My only con is that the battery life is only three hours. No more, no less. I have owned these for over a year and they have not gotten a short in any of the buds. I use these everyday. THESE WILL NOT CONNECT WELL WITH IPHONES. The little door that protects the charge port did break off but it hasnt disrupted charging. I did change out the smallest ear bud caps with smaller ones so they dont fall out while using. The buds come with a set of three to choose from but even the smallest was not small enough. I just went a bought a cheap pair of wired buds to get replacement caps which work fine. I carry them in a contact lens container when not in use so I dont mar the wire up. They also do a great job of blocking out sounds around the house (like if your kids are watching t.v., for example) so you can hear your music or audio book. For me, the best thing about these headphones is when I get a phone call from friends and family who love to talk on the phone. I put these blue-tooth ear buds on, freeing up both hands, and can accomplish chores (even back yard gardening) while having a conversation! I cant recall how long Ive had them, been over a year so for the price, Im not complaining. The only thing that kind of annoyed me is the one side is heavier due to the control pod so it always slides and pulls to the side. They give you a collar clip that should stop that but it doesnt grip the cord well enough to work. I ended up wrapping some tape around the cord until the clip fit nice and snug and never had an issue after that. I bought a pair of Sony Bluetooth headphones almost two years ago for my now twelve year old daughter, and I was so impressed with them that I decided to buy this pair after checking out all of the positive reviews. Well, the majority of reviews were spot-on. These things put out very good sound and I was most happy to hear that the bass was not overpowering. (That was my biggest fear before purchase). The battery life on these headphones is excellent, as well as the charging time. The fit is superb. Although they may be marketed as "on ear", they are nearly "over the ear" phones, and, very comfortable I might add. The cans arent too big and they arent too small....they are just right. (Funny, where have I heard that before?) They have virtually no sound leakage either (yes, sounds weird, but really, the person on the side of you wont hear all of your jam), which is especially good for those long airplane flights or bus rides. And last but not least, the price is right. At under one hundred dollars they simply cant be Beat(s). (No pun intended) Do yourself a favor,....stop racking your brain reading all these reviews, and buy these very good sounding, stylish, easy to use, easy to connect-to-Bluetooth, Bluetooth headphones. I think these are the best bluetooth headphones for 100 bucks. Sony did a great job on these. Pros: 30 hours battery Nice design NFC pairing (just hold your phone to the NFC sign and it will automatically connect to them every time, even if the headphones are off) Great bluetooth range (can walk around my apartment and the connection does not suffer anywhere) They sound really good. Better than my beats headphones. No cons for me. Now if you compare them to the XB950s there are some differences. I believe they both have their pros and cons. The XB650s have these things over the XB950s: Better design. These are much smaller and they dont look like huge earmuffs like the 950s. 30 hours battery life compared to the 20 hours on the XB950s. Lighter in weight compared to the XB950s. These actually tell you the battery level compared to the XB950s which you have to look at confusing light pulses. Better balanced sound and still has a lot of bass. The XB950s have these things over the XB650s: It has an AUX port if you decide not to use bluetooth. The XB650s do not have an AUX port. It has an "extra bass" button and the XB650s do not. Sound is a tiny bit louder than the XB650s. Overall I think the XB650s are better. The aux port that the 950s have is not a big deal to me because my laptop and phone have bluetooth. Also, the aux port on the 950s only work with that specific aux cable that it comes with. The headphones design makes it so that other aux cables will not be able to fit in the slot. The Extra bass boost button on the 950s are also not a big deal to me. The 950s without the bass boost already sound really bass heavy and the button is just overkill. And I like bass. I mostly listen to hiphop too so its not like I am a person listening to classical music. I do like that the 950s are a little bit louder. But its not a real big difference and definitely not enough of a difference for me to choose the 950s over the 650s. I would say that the 650s are bass heavy headphones and the 950s are a little bit too much even without the bass boost on. Overall, the smaller look, the longer battery life, the more balanced sound are all reasons why I chose the 650s over the 950s. And the 650s are 98 bucks right now on amazon. Definitely worth the money. Ive had the 950s for since around Christmas so about 5 months and they have been my main headphones until now that I got the 650s. I just really did not like how the 950s look like huge earmuffs on your head. They also felt heavy while wearing them. The 650s took care of these issues and are now my go to headphones. My wife has a pair of the 950s that I really liked (bass is ridiculous but better to have too much and EQ it out). Unfortunately the 950s cost $200 and I just didnt feel like going there for my sometimes-y listening. I saw these for $130 and while still above what I wanted to spend, they had a pair at the store in a listening kiosk and I was blown away. They actually sounded better balanced than the 950s (which were also in the kiosk) yet still churned out tons of bass. Here are my explained thoughts: Build Quality (B): "Very" lightweight with a metal band connecting the cans via a sandwich of generic plastic that have decent adjustability. The cups can swivel 180 deg so you can lay them around your neck in a little more comfort or store them flat. They dont feel expensive but dont look cheap. I got black cause Im not flashy but saw the blue and red and they certainly show off some of the design elements better. Fit, Comfort, Operation (A): I usually prefer over-the-ear headphones but these on-the-ear phones do an amazing job of creating a seal that keeps bleed in or out very low. They are very lightweight so fatigue should not be an issue and theres no pressure points on the ears or on the top of the head. The controls are all on the right cup and work smoothly and provide great feedback. Uses standard micro USB for charging. This set does not have a wired option like the 950. I have not run the battery down as I charge it every other night I use it and I probably never will if it gets even close to the 30 hours of battery advertised. Sound (A): The most important part. There is a strong V profile to all these "ExtraBass" headsets and some people may be bothered by this colored sound but it does a good job of presenting you good amounts of everything from low to high. The bass is strong but not silly like the 950s are capable of. I did EQ everything from 125Hz down by -3db to get to my taste. Highs and mids are crisp and clean and overall reproduction should sound great most ears. Time will tell how well they hold up but the sound is amazing, comfort is high and the price (at least for me) was very reasonable. I did not purchase from Amazon (had store credit for a return). Whit that said, i must state that i am very satisfied with this mouse. Previously I was usig a generic small laptop mouse, so i got accustomed to smaller mice. i was fearing that the adaptation to this new product would be long and "painfull", however, for being a full size mouse the taipan is quite ligth weight. It is also a very sober alternative to the more flashy products designed for gamers (which i dont like): you can deactivate the razer logo back-light and it becomes a very subtle detail barely seeable in the mouse, so you can go to your office or laboratory and pretend to be a serious person. Considering my small mouse background i use a claw like grip, which is perfect for this mouse. Currently I dont use the side buttons, but they are prerfectly accesible (more on the thumb side) so i will certainly try to get some usefull functions linked to then trough the synapse program. overall 10/10 will buy more razer products in the future. This mouse has helped me improve my gameplay, in comparison to using a traditional mouse. The additional buttons are great and easy to use with keybinds. The design is sleek and the logo looks cool. This is a very good gaming mouse if you are looking for something "simple" in terms of gaming mouses that gets that job done, looks nice, and works well. Granted theyve made some products that were better than others, but relative to the products Ive tried, I would give them 6 stars out of 5. The first mouse I got from them, a Copperhead, lasted until a couple months ago (almost 10 years of active gaming), and its only the left click button which isnt responding (so still fixable). This one in particular, the Taipan, is no different than Copperhead, as in its an awesome piece of hardware! Very comfortable to use, light, ergonomic, a smooth texture/feel, high pointer precision, I have nothing bad to say about it. I was thoroughly sick of using my laptop touchpad to play Runescape and navigate through webpages it gets very annoying after my wireless mouse decided to die. I kind of like the fact that this mouse is wired so I dont have to worry about charging batteries and the cord is as long as needed, I actually never took the twist tie off of the extra cord and have an ample amount. The cord is not your typical rubbery electronic cord like your phone charger, it is like woven with some sort of cotton like cover and its very flexible so you dont have to deal with it being kinked or making it awkward to push the mouse around. I really like this mouse and it is very responsive and seems to be very smooth. I really like the fact that the scroll wheel and the logo on the mouse glow, it makes it easy to see in the dark and it looks really cool. The side buttons by default are programmed to go back and forward on webpages which is pretty cool. Overall I think this is a great mouse and would recommend it to a friend. Prior to having this mouse, I just used a standard Logitech wireless laptop mouse. It was on its last legs after some abuse though, so after doing some research I settled upon the Razer Taipan as something I wanted to try out. Pros: -Beautiful looking mouse. I got the white color scheme one and it is definitely pretty to look at. Also matches my white/black PC tower. -Comfortable to hold, although it is definitely for smaller hands like other reviewers have said (the reason I bought it, Ive got some baby hands). The rubber grips on either side underneath the side buttons make a super good thumb rest. I use kind of a claw grip, but it seems like it would be okay palm as well. Havent noticed any hand fatigue so far, including game sessions of 8+ hours. -The tracking on the mouse seems to be relatively top notch from my experience. Granted, I did just move from a $20 dollar wireless mouse, so there was bound to be improvement. -The adjustable DPI is a pretty nice feature, although the maximum this mouse allows (8200) is laughably unnecessary. After a couple days of experimenting playing various games, I got mine honed in at 2000, where it has been ever since. -Ludicrous initial setup aside, Razer Synapse hasnt given me any problems yet! (EDIT: jk lolz) Cons: -I have had a few severe tracking issues. The reason though, it would seem, is because the sensor is incredibly, incredibly sensitive to any interference. The first couple days after owning it, I noticed occasionally the tracking would just kind of seize up and start doing circles instead of straight lines. As far as I can tell, each time it has been from tiny specks of hair or fuzz getting in the path of the sensor. This is with a brand new, spotless mouse pad too. It is definitely frustrating when it happens, since the rest of the time it tracks excellently. -The glossy plastics making up the mouse are fairly slick, including the main left/right buttons. I havent really noticed it that badly when gaming, but they definitely seem like they would get bad quick if youve got some sweaty hands. -Occasionally upon starting a game, it seems like the mouse gets stuck at a sensitivity double of what it should actually be set at. It basically makes any games unplayable until I restart my computer (simply restarting the game, restarting Razer Synapse, or unplugging the mouse hasnt had any success). I have no idea what the source of this problem is, but Im going to go ahead and blame Razer Synapse because I have absolutely no idea what else it could be. All in all, after researching for something lightweight, good for smaller hands, and possessing the right amount of secondary buttons, I feel like I made the right decision, and am definitely happy with my purchase. For example, clicking on a middle panel on any left page would often advance the page accidentally.
