If youre considering this kind of product, obviously you need to measure your desk out first because this can actually be too large for many desks. Secondly, be aware that this is a cloth texture mouse pad, not covered with hard plastic or the like (completely changes mouse movement). Personally, with my Logitech G402 I like this pads amount of friction as it allows smooth gliding with very good precision. The material is also very durable- in the month Ive had it, there hasnt been any notable stains, as other similar mousepads Ive used in the past tend to have dust particle smashed into the surface giving it a chalky appearance. And finally, given the choice between the MM200 and the MM300, I would still prefer this product. The MM300 offers a anti-fray stitched edge which I actually find distracting, but if youre the type who fiddles with the mouse pad or otherwise comes in contact with the edges (unlikely, considering how big it is), the MM300 might work out better for you. I personally use the backpack for school. I am able to put a macbook air 13.3 inch in a sleeve, a half full one and one half inch three ring binder, a book about one and a half inches thick, and two one subject notebooks with no problem at all. The materials of the backpack arent that high of a quality but it has held up so far with everyday use. The front vertical slit-like pocket is much larger than expected. Yes, it is skinny, but I was able to fit 2 softcover reading books in there! The next front pocket has many spots for pens and such. This is where I kept my crossbody purse while boarding the plane, and I was also able to fit my quart sized baggie of liquids in here for easy access. In the main compartment, there is a slot for your laptop, a little spot in front of that which could be used for cords, and yet another mesh divider spot. I was able to fit 3 days of clothes, a bathing suit and cover-up, pair of sandals, jewelry, curling iron, and straightener in here. While it may look full in the picture, it was still squishable. This backpack is MUCH smaller, even when fully packed than the maximum size requirement for Spirit Airlines, here in the United States. I measured it before and after packing it, and even if I were to pack it 100% full, Id still be under their limit. It gets close in the longest measurement, the height, but really works great. I used this product for only 1 trip so far, but will be sure to use it as my free "purse" again soon! MY ONLY COMPLAINT, and this is a personal preference, is that its pretty stiff. Inside the bag there is plenty of protection for the laptop, there is plenty of storage compartments, and its not too bulky. I was able to fit a laptop, chargers, iPad, and a few other small accessories without any problem. If you go to a big box store you will pay twice for this same bag or get a cheaper one that lacks the quality. I would recommend this item to someone looking for a durable bag for a low price. I have never written a review before, but I just had to mention that the craftsmanship on this charger will have you regretting your purchase after only a couple months. I bought this item in September 2011 and from daily use in February 2012 I have to throw it out. The way the wire connects to the battery pack, the black casing around the wires comes loose very easily over time. The exposed wires apparently touched while I was plugging the adaptor into my computer, causing an egg sized explosion and the electricity went out on one side of our apartment as a result. Okay so dont use an adaptor with exposed wires, you might say, for all this to be avoided; youll avoid the explosion but youll still have to return the product. I had this charger for only three months before it broke down. (With the problems I and many other Dell laptop owners have with the adapter, I passed Dell by when purchasing a new laptop: I need a reliable charging accessory, and it just seems Dell doesnt either care enough to change the design or makes so much $$$ by selling adapters. So I sucked it up and went without my laptop for the 5-7 days it took for this adapter to get here - Saved myself $50+ and got a WAY better product! UPDATE: Ok, so I have used the adapter since August, maybe 3-4 hours a day if that. Now the power supply cord is VERY positional, meaning it has to lay in a very straight, parallel to the brick position in order for it to relay power. I am having to tape the cord in place until I can get a new one. Dell or not, skip this "deal." During my search I noticed scratches in between where the pieces of the housing fit together (as if somebody had used a flathead screw driver to pry it open before). I decided to look a little further into the matter and pry it open myself. After I did, I noticed that the circuit had areas that looked like they had an extremely poor repair job done on it. It isnt worth the hassle to return, but I thought I could atleast jump on amazon and ensure other customers do not make the mistake of buying this product. The relationship cliffhanger from the last book is cleared up, further living arrangement issues develop sitcom style and even the giant bear character, Ms. Hiyama, is explained a bit. On top of the fact that these licensed remotes actually work consistently and they dont ever break, Nintendo has made quite a few neat improvements since the original Wii remotes: -First off, Wii Motion Plus is built in, which is really nice. -Batteries last for hours upon hours upon hours (though Id still recommend buying rechargeable batteries.) -The grips now have these little grooves in them which makes them very comfortable to hold onto. -The button for syncing is now found on the outside of the remote, so you dont have to remove the backing to sync it with your Wii/Wii U -And the remotes come with those rubber grips, which personally, I find a hassle and would rather just not bother with, but other users might find them to be pretty neat. So if you need a remote or a few extra remotes, just splurge the extra dollars and go with something licensed, theres much more value in it. They each have a primary color to match the respective character, as well as secondary and tertiary colors which all jive perfectly with the characters they represent. While I still have my Wii and WiiU I only had one Wii remote to pass among the two consoles and yes while the WiiU doesnt actually need the remote unless youre playing wii games on it or using a specific wiiu game that requires it it wasnt really needed for the WiiU. Except I decided I wanted to play some of my gamecube games and yes while I still have a functional gamecube console I felt it was better to just hookup the wii again to my t.v. and with that this extra remote has definitely helped me. The overall design is the same as it is with other wii plus remote but its the color and character deign scheme that definitely make it stand out from the one color remotes that came before it. While we may never get any new wii character remotes its nice to see that you can still get these at affordable prices. Some have said just get a third party developer remotes but after doing so just once for my PS3 controller and how badly that ended I refuse to get any third party controllers again and will just stick with the company ones and while they are somewhat pricier you at least know youre getting a good quality device. I should have bought the official Nintendo Wii Remote in the first place. The quality is top notch, and syncing it up with my Wii was a breeze. My wife and I love our Wii for the sports games, and having a second controller is a must. I highly recommend if you are replacing a controller or just picking up a second (or third, or fourth). The rubber grip is awkward and seems to interfere with the sensor, but its easily removed and not necessarily as the remote is pretty durable. This is a very comfortable backpack with lots of storage pockets for all of your miscellaneous items. The shoulder straps are padded and relatively wide, so they fit comfortably on my shoulders. (They fit comfortably on my husbands shoulders, too.) There is a lot of space in this pack. I had no problem fitting all of my odds and ends in here, including my phone, my external hard drive, work papers, and, of course, my laptop. The laptop compartment is in the very back of the backpack and has a somewhat unique configuration, in that the shoulder straps are located IN FRONT of the laptop zipper pocket. In other words, the shoulder straps are connected to the backpack BETWEEN the laptop compartment and the rest of the backpack. (Look at the side profile pic in the product details above.) You might think the placement of the straps would be awkward or uncomfortable, but, in reality, it helps distribute the weight of the laptop more evenly. Its actually a very nice feature, in my opinion. I have two complaints, though. First, the print on this backpack is ugly as sin. Even my husband thought so, and he usually doesnt care about that stuff at all. Second, while there are a ton of little pockets in the front of the backpack, there really isnt any place to store a pen or two upright. The pockets are too large, so unless you hook a pen over the pocket, it will just slide right down and disappear. I like to use #2 pencils, so this is an annoyance for me. Still, overall, this is a really nice backpack for work. It has just the right amount of space and support while still being lightweight. I saw that there are other prints available, but even they are kind of ugly. Hopefully they will come out with more attractive designs. Before receiving this backpack I went to the Case Logic website and watched the video on it showing all the pockets and compartments. Theres even a "hidden" compartment in the front. There are a lot of zipper pockets and one that is well padded on both sides for your laptop. Theres a huge compartment in between the laptop pocket and the front pocket that would be large enough to pack clothes; it also has a large pocket in it. The front zipper compartment has pockets and a zippered mesh pocket also. There are two side mesh pockets that are actually wide enough and deep enough to carry my 24oz. water bottle, which is unusual. The straps are well padded and the sternum strap that adjusts across the front of your body can be tightened or loosened and even moved up or down (the strap unsnaps and there are five different slots where you can put it to make it the most comfortable on you.) I have never seen that previously on a backpack; I put the straps at the very top (they were in the middle slots). You could also remove the sternum strap completely by unsnapping both sides. Even though I dont care for the color/design on this backpack (it looks like something youd get at an army surplus store to me), it has a lot going for it. I see there are other designs and colors also. The pack is heavy duty and definitely feels like it is built to last. I was actually FLOORED by how incredibly thick, sturdy, and well-constructed this backpack is. It easily reflects its price (which I thought was a little expensive before I received it... and, now, I think it is entirely accurate). This is not the type that could easily be snagged and torn on the way to class/work. In fact, there is no way thats going to happen. And, if we are talking about longevity, I think you will tire of the bag LONG before it wears out. Moreover, the wide, padded straps make carrying even the heaviest bag much more comfortable and safe. The back of the bag is also a solid piece of foam that both makes the bag easier on ones back AND helps maintain the shape of the bag. The three separate compartments are perfect for preventing ones laptop from getting scratched and scraped by accessories. Just place each in separate compartments. (Which is a time-saver for someone like me... who has individual cloth bags for each peripheral). And, it needs to be said, the design here is pretty great. I remember a time when Case Logic was not exactly "fashion-forward"... but this bag is genuinely attractive and masculine. Fantastic improvement from those old utilitarian days! It easily reflects its price (which I thought was a little expensive before I received it... and, now, I think it is entirely accurate). This is not the type that could easily be snagged and torn on the way to class/work. In fact, there is no way thats going to happen. And, if we are talking about longevity, I think you will tire of the bag LONG before it wears out. Moreover, the wide, padded straps make carrying even the heaviest bag much more comfortable and safe. The back of the bag is also a solid piece of foam that both makes the bag easier on ones back AND helps maintain the shape of the bag. The three separate compartments are perfect for preventing ones laptop from getting scratched and scraped by accessories. Just place each in separate compartments. (Which is a time-saver for someone like me... who has individual cloth bags for each peripheral). And, it needs to be said, the design here is pretty great. I remember a time when Case Logic was not exactly "fashion-forward"... but this bag is genuinely attractive and masculine. Fantastic improvement from those old utilitarian days! Having ignored it’s development, I’m not sure what to expect, and while it may be impossible, I hope they can capture Nihei’s art style in motion. Knights of Sidonia could probably still be great if it was done by other artists because the story is so strong, but what sets this excellent comic apart is Nihei’s personal graphic flair, the way he can depict vast interstellar distance, crazy fast action and weapon impacts or explosions all in the same panel. Page 146 is a good example of what I’m talking about, as Tanikaze uses the new prototype to snipe at the approaching Gauna. While you’re at it, check out pages 54-55, my favorite art from this book, where poor Tanikaze once again forgets to knock and gets his nose bloodied in the awesomest way possible. I love this comic. The game relies heavily on multiplayer with you having to select a region to play in and join a user created team (or create one) from the get go. Ideally this is great, as you can theoretically be going to battle in Mech style gang wars with people in your local region, all with your own heavily customized war machine. The problem is, there are nowhere near enough people playing this game for that the be successful. I am sure this game is thriving in Japan, but most of the US console market is invested in games like the COD series, etc... to humor this one. If they didnt region lock the multiplayer and fixed the matchmaking and menus, this might be more enjoyable. Theres not much fun in an endless string of "Destroy all AI enemies" maps. The level of customization in this game is awesome though. You really do get to have a sense of ownership when you create your own AC and bring it to the battlefield, though the menus are pretty boring to navigate through. Other than the feeling of ownership you get from making your own AC, theres a TON to be desired. Very outdated graphics(too much brown), a terrible campaign mode with a convoluted story and cheesy dialog, and a broken multiplayer mode. The only reason I am giving this 3 stars, and not less, is that I didnt play it when the game was brand new so I am giving it the benefit of the doubt that there were way more people playing when it was first released. I can see the potential level of fun playing with and against other human players. As of today though, finding anyone in the multiplayer mode is like navigating through the desert in search of shade and water. So if you buy now, you will most likely have to suffer through just playing against super boring AI opponents. Following in the footsteps of Armored Core 4 and Armored Core: For Answer, this game makes significant improvements on the games engine and base mechanics. That said, this game greatly assumes that you have played previous Armored Core games. The in-game tutorial is short and will not adequately equip you for some of the harder missions, and certainly not for Player-versus-Player combat. The finest parts of the game must be learned through experience, from other players, or through faqs, walkthroughs, and the like. For those who havent played previous Armored Cored games please read this section: This is a fast-paced mech game where you will have an assortment of armaments at your disposal to take down a variety of enemies. You will have everything from handguns, rifles, gatling guns, several energy weapons, and the famous blades and laser blades. Your enemies will be anything from helicopters to other armored cores. The Story and Order Missions will take you through the main story and side missions, but the main draw is playing against other players. A new feature to this games is the ability to form a Team. Your team will acrew points from your completed missions and battles, unlocking new parts. Your team can also stake your claim on a territory in any of the eight areas of the game. This feature allows you to have allies that will greatly help your chances when facing other players online. Lastly, you can also sign-up to be a mercenary, allowing yourself to be drafted into another players Story or Order mission. This helps spice things up a bit. Overall, you have yourself a difficult game that will surely leave you tweaking your Armored Core for days, weeks, and months to come. I havent played multiplayer so I cant speak for that. Ive been playing the AC series for years too and this is kind of a new level of boring. The AC construction gets boring really fast, you unlock more parts as you go through the story but those parts are more or less old parts with different skins and stats. Not like in previous AC titles where you unlock some fun looking laser rifles and awesome shoulder mounted grenade launchers. Painting/customizing is better though with more detailed paint jobs. Combat has improved with a change in the controls. Now when a weapon is empty you can swap it out with another you have stored on yourself. There is now a sort of rack/paper/scissors element to combat with weapons and armor being three different types: Kinetic, chemical, and energy. This kinda makes some enemies annoying as they can be resistant to your primary weapons forcing you to use more ammo on them. A fan of the series may want to try this, personally Im kinda turned off by it but will probably pick it up again later when the urge strikes. The magnet strip where the cover and case meet isnt secured very well, and the cover metal pulled the magnet straight out of the case after about 4 months of normal use. The plastic holding the magnet then quickly snapped off where the magnet used to be, leaving me the choice between supergluing all of it back together, or finding a different case; I chose the latter (Inateck). Lastly, when it was intact, the cover did not do an adequate job of securing the "closed" position via the magnet. After closing my Paperwhite and going to sleep thinking it was securely off, I would sometimes wake to the Kindle believing that I had been "reading" the same page all night because it hadnt closed properly. This not only wastes the life of my backlight, but also throws my pages remaining count all out of whack and required manual fixing a few times. Ive had the case for 2-3 months now and the case looks pretty good still. It has a few faint stains, but since the case is a light color, that is kind of expected. The reason I gave the case only 3 stars, though, is because after a couple weeks, the magnets in the inside of the case started coming out when I opened the top. My husband ended up super gluing both of the magnets into their spots. The plastic on the outside, next to the magnets is weak so that ended up breaking while we were trying to fix the magnets, but we just glued that as well. So overall I give it three stars. The color and case is nice, but I would expect the magnets to stay put. At least until the case is a little bit older. Updated on 12/28: After publishing this review, the seller contacted me and offered to send a new case at no cost to me. It arrived quickly and looks like the magnets fit better than my old one. This headset is loud and if you fiddle with the equalizer enough, you will have a great pair of speakers on your head. I listen to electronic music a ton, and its super important that I hear the different levels that the certain song gives - these do an amazing job. Even vocal driven songs sound great. The bass is a little high, but I turned that down so that the treb and the bass are pretty equal. (Ive included my equalizers for iTunes and the engine for those that are interested so they can check it out.) The next best thing is the comfort. Oh my goodness, are they comfortable. Ive been wearing them for a while now and I can see how people say they are stiff when you first get them, but they will loosen after you wear them enough. They are causing a tiny bit discomfort, but I have faith that they will stretch. My ears also tend to be very sensitive are get very irritated after a little while when they have something pressing against them, but the ear covers are exceptional. Very roomy for my ears and there is nothing irritating them for the time I have been wearing the headset. I am however going to jump straight into the one problem they have. There is a major clicking in the mic when I use the given sound card with the mirco plug in. Its horrifying how loud the clicking is. I am pretty sure this is a problem with the sound card - not the software. A lot of people have been addressing this clicking issue for a year now and Steelseries is really horrible about the issue and has no fix for it. The only ACTUAL FIX for the headset is using the 3.5mm jacks with the soundcard instead of the micro USB - but you lose the lights on the headset if you used the 3.5mm. Funny thing is, I intended to use this headset with the Siberia USB External Soundcard anyways because I heard there were sound issues and mic issues with the given sound card. So I knew from the get-go that I wasnt going to use the lights on the headset. It still sucks incredibly because the biggest selling point for this headset is the color changing lights. The fact that you cant even use them without having a clicking mic, is why I gave them 3 stars. 150 dollars for a headset thats supposed to have lights but you cant use - is pretty awful. I would really like this headset to 100% amazing. Except the problems the mic has, along with Steelseries hardly caring about their defective products is a true bummer. I can live with it however and am pretty pleased. For this review, Ill be comparing this mouse to the Logitech G502. I recently purchased both mice and have had a few weeks to use both. They are two of the most popular gaming mice on the market and direct competitors, so this comparison should prove useful for some. First off, this is the most beautiful mouse Ive ever seen. The build quality is incredible and a huge step above any mouse Ive used before. The aluminum chassis, rubberized top and sandpaper-like sides make for an incredibly well crafted device. The switches have what I would consider elegant actuation, with good tactile feel that is smooth with a satisfying, muted click noise. The scroll wheel feels elegant as well, with a really nice rubber material and super smooth scrolling action. The LED implementation is also really nice, with a beautifully lit scroll wheel area and brilliant illumination on the back of the mouse. This mouse illuminates the mouse pad and just looks really great, with the option to cycle through the RGB colors or use static colors. In short, its the best built and best looking mouse Ive seen, and possibly the best looking peripheral Ive ever used- on par with Corsairs gorgeous keyboards. Compared to the G502, this mouse is a step above in build quality and looks. The tracking on this mouse is excellent. It contains a pixart 3360 sensor, regarded as the best optical sensor on the market. The tracking is extremely accurate. The G502 contains a 3366 (Logitechs variant of the same sensor), so they are very similar. Having said that, I do feel that the G502 is slightly more accurate and responsive. Its hard to articulate what the difference is, its more of a feel you get using both mice. The G502 just seems to track basically perfectly, whereas I did have slightly more trouble aiming with pinpoint accuracy with this mouse. In reality though, the difference would probably be imperceptible to most users. The location of the "sniper button" is right where your thumb would normally rest. This would present a problem, but the button does require decent actuation force, so I never found myself accidentally activating it while playing. I was able to lift the mouse just fine as well. I do like the location of the "sniper button" on the G502 a bit more, where its located just at the tip of your thumb. It totally prevents any accidental press of the button, and just felt a little more natural to me. Now we get to the main issue I have with this mouse, and the reason I deducted one star. The shape and weight of this mouse will not be for everyone. Its shorter than most mice, while also being a bit stocky and wide. I use a fingertip type grip where my palm sort of floats above the top surface of the mouse, so I didnt have much of an issue adapting to the shape. However for those with a true palm grip, I doubt they would find this mouse comfortable. I think its probably made mostly for claw grip, and probably most fingertip users will find it comfortable as well (such as myself). However in comparison to the G502, this M65 is decidedly less comfortable. The G502 fits me like a glove. I especially like the extended thumb rest on the G502, and I prefer the grippy textured sides to the sandpaper-like sides of this M65. Aiming and lifting just feels more natural on the G502 for me. The weight of this mouse is probably its major issue. It comes with 3 weights installed in the underside of the mouse, and its just plain heavy. With the weights installed, I found difficult in lifting the mouse without my fingers slipping, and quick wrist actions for aiming are a bit more difficult than on lighter mice. I find it interesting that a mouse marketed as an FPS mouse would be so heavy out of the box. I removed all 3 of the weights, and its definitely much better. The G502 is also considered a heavy mouse, but it comes without the weights installed. I think without weights, the M65 still feels slightly heavier than the G502. Its definitely something to keep in mind for people who prefer lighter mice. The mouse is just heavy, no getting around it. Other than the stock/short size and the weight, this mouse is incredible. It looks so elegant next to my Corsair K70 keyboard, and it just exudes a quality of build that Ive never seen in a mouse before. Most mice are full of plastic, as the G502 is. The M65 will instantly impress you with how well its made and how great it looks. However, looks are not enough for me to recommend this mouse over the G502. I think the G502 is probably the best mouse Ive ever used, even though it looks overly "gamery" and has a plasticy build quality. It just sports more cool features (free scroll wheel being my favorite) and is supremely comfortable. However for those of you who have owned Corsair mice in the past, or who prioritize looks over slightly better performance, the M65 Pro RGB is a wonderful mouse. I would consider it the second best mouse Ive ever used, and this is coming from a loyal MX518 and G400 user. The sides of this mouse have some sort of coating on it that must be non slip or something, its totally different than the same mouse from a year ago, which was very smooth and comfortable. Using this mouse is literally painful. If your a gamer and have the mouse in your hand for 10-15 hours a day, you will most likely have the skin rubbed off your index finger and thumb, because this awful sand paper coating is on both sides. They had a perfect mouse less the issue with the middle mouse button failing early...and now its totally worthless. It does make a satisfying clicking noise, however, when I close my kindle. I really like that clicking noise. This is slimmer than the original Amazon Paperwhite case, which was gifted to me, which I like because one of the selling points of the Paperwhite is how small it is. My favorite part is the hand strap, which is one of the primary reasons, I purchased this case. I have a handstrap on my tablet case and I use it regularly when I make use of my tablet, it is equally useful on this paperwhite. I feel safe using my kindle in the bath or while on the train. The paperwhite feels secure on my hand. Its not perfect though, the strap would feel better if it was place more towards the center of the cover, that way people with small hands could use it better with one hand. The cover also feels somewhat tight when closing over the kindle. I keep feeling the need to stretch the cover a little to sit flush with the kindle face. When I do this, however, the sleep/wake function stops working. Overall, great case, definitely worth the 11$. Its the perfect case for the price. Por Freader em 9 de maio de 2016 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada After ten months of use, my main complaint with this Paperwhite cover, could be solved if the plastic side of the cover had the same cut-out for the charge port and off/on button on the top, as it has on the bottom. This would enable it to accept the Paperwhite upside down, which would make for an easy left-hand hold with the hand strap. This would also place the strap in a position easiest to use for those with small hands. The second complaint is unless one has a gargantuan hand, or holds the cover with two hands, while reading lying on ones back, the heavier Kindle side can easily fall forward towards your face. A snap or a magnet closure connecting the two sections would prevent that. Also, the flexible spine allows the heavier Kindle side to skew, causing one to twist their wrist to keep the print straight - not very ergonomic for long reading sessions. Another problem - the magnet has come out of its slot, preventing proper closure of the cover, which drains the battery when the Kindle turns on by itself, intermittently. This doesnt happen with the cover left open, but then that negates the reason for a protective cover when carried in a purse or backpack. I have a Marware easel-style cover for the old Kindle Keyboard. The cover flips over the top and is held to the second section at the bottom with a well-made elastic band, with a handstrap on the back for easy one-handed use with either hand. One can also stand it up like an easel, while following recipes. I have yet to find a similar style for the Paperwhite. Ive threatened to remove the leather side of the Swees cover and just slide the plastic side with the Paperwhite into the Marware cover - it fits! Other than the above points, the overall quality of the cover holds up really well. The stitching is still tight and unfrayed with daily handling over the past ten months, and the leather, front and back, is unscratched after being carried around in a purse. The elastic hand strap is actually not as useful as you might think - when you open the case and flip the cover around to the back of the Kindle, there is nothing to secure the front flap to the back. So whether or not you are using the hand strap, you still have to support the device with both your thumb and 4 fingers. Its marginally useful if you spend a lot of time reading while laying down with the kindle directly above your head. If this case had a magnet on the back of the case as well as the front, it would be a 5-star item. Comparison Vid: [...] I was sick and tired of the Razer knock off clicky switches. It was nice for a couple months, but now it is quite irritating and unsatisfying to type on. Therefore I decided to get the Corsair Strafe RGB with MX Brown switches. DESIGN: Personally I like this design better than the Blackwidow. The Blackwidow seems to have a matte fingerprint/oil attracted finish to it. This keyboard however has a clean sleek design that trumps that Blackwidow. The finish on this keyboard seems to be fingerprint resistant and doesnt seem to stain as easy as the Blackwidow. ALSO IT COMES WITH THE OG CORSAIR SAILS LOGO (THANK YOU CORSAIR) not the new "Corsair Gaming" logo that everybody hated. KEYS: I have never owned a Cherry MX Keyboard until now and IT IS AMAZING TO TYPE ON. This keyboard has the option of MX Browns, Reds, or Corsairs "Silent Switches." I decided to get Browns because its halfway between a Red(Silent) and Blue (Clicky) switch, basically the best of both worlds. Browns are not as loud as blues, theyre nearly the same as Reds actually. Its just that Brown switches have a more tactile feedback feel when you type on them compared to Reds. The keycaps themselves on the other hand are similar in feel and look to the Razer keycaps. BUT Corsair includes a set of FPS and MOBA keycaps ALONG WITH a keycap puller so you can customize it to your needs. Props to Corsair for that. LEDS: The casing for the keycaps are clear so you get the maximum shine of color from the switches. Every switch has their own RGB LED that is customize able to what game youre gonna play. There are also two white LED strips on the side of the keyboard to add a nice clean finish to the keyboard. I have attached pictures to clarify. And there are 3 brightness settings for you to choose from. OTHER: Like I said before, Corsair throws in some extra accessories to sweeten the deal: -MOBA/FPS Keycaps -Keycap puller -Detachable wrist rest (which is quite comfortable to use actually) Now to the reason why Im giving this 4 stars... SOFTWARE: Im just gonna say it, the Razer Synapse software for the Chroma is much better than Corsairs CUE software. It took me about 30 minutes to an hour to figure out how to set a certain keycap a certain color. They do have instructions on their website, but its not clear enough for all the features. When I got my Razer Blackwidow Chroma, it was simple (INSANELY SIMPLE) to customize the LEDS to your specific needs. However for Corsair, it seems like theyre getting there but ever so slowly. For example you need to go to 3 or 4 different pages on Corsair software to set all the keys white and WASD a different color. It was just a very frustrating experience for me using the CUE software. Hopefully in the future it will be on the same level as Razers Synapse. OVERALL PROS: -Cherry MX Browns -Design -Price (Cheaper than Blackwidow Chroma) -Accessories (Keycaps/wrist rest) -USB Passthrough CONS: -CUE Software - No headphone/mic passthrough In the end, I recommend this keyboard to anyone who is looking for an upgrade or their first mechanical keyboard. The price of $149 is very much worth it considering all the extra accessories that come along with it. As for the software, give it some more time and Im sure major improvements will be made. Those felt amazing, so I thought. After around 10 minutes of typing and playing Battlefield 1, I realized these switches feel cheap and are not good for me. I did a bunch more research and decided I must have a keyboard with RGB lighting. Of all the keyboards that I saw through videos on YouTube, the Strafe was the most impressive. I tried to find a Strafe RGB with blue switches to mimic the Razer greens, but I could only find a refurbished one at Newegg for $150. Turns out there were issues with them and theyre no longer being made. I decided to go with the Reds because thats what many gamers I know use. I have been using this keyboard for 11 days now and I am very satisfied with it. The software is easy to use and allows for customization, the keys feel great when typing and when playing (FPS games that is), it looks really pretty, and it even has a USB port. But to use that you will need to plug in the second USB that is attached to the keyboards main cable. All in all, everything about this keyboard is absolutely wonderful. In case you didnt know, there are a few people that that frequent r/RGB Profiles on Reddit and the Corsair forums that create custom RGB lighting schemes that you can use with Corsair peripherals. Everyone can make custom profiles, but it is tough and is much easier to download profiles. I also own a Corsair M65 Pro and I found a guy through the Corsair RGB forums that lets you download free lighting schemes for all devices- so theyre in sync. He even has really great videos demonstrating the lights. He goes by "Schwitz". I am very satisfied with this keyboard. I attached a video of some of my favorite profiles. We have Windows 10 and it was a little weird to install. I used our old keyboard to download the software and had to restart at least once and just wait for the keyboard to start registering keystrokes, but it somehow snapped to it. I have another device with Cherry MX Brown keys and its such a pleasure to use for writing. The Blue are even clackier and old school, with very clear, distinct keying. The USB pass through is really nice as well. If you wait for it to be on sale like $100 dollars for the RGB, then its a really good deal. There are some cons though: the cable is very thick and there is no cable management which might be a problem for some. The software is hard to use and only for windows no linus or mac software compatibility(there is a unofficial software called ckb for mac, and it works great). The pros: keys are nice and fast, I have the browns which have the really nice tactile feedback. The RGB is bright and can show really fun patterns and designs. The build great and solid even without the glossy metal like on the K70. One important thing to note is that on my personal keyboard one of the keys light went off and stayed off on the first day I got it. I tried unplugging and re plugging and restarting the software but no luck, the key still works but the light doesnt. It bugs me but is no problem cuz the key still works. Overall this is the best keyboard for the price and the pros overweight the cons. I gave this mouse to my husband, and he says he loves this mouse and its perfect for his large hands. (I have changed the rating from 4 to 5 stars because my husband loves it better than his old style Naga, but if you have small hands then I dont think this will be comfortable for you). I have switched to a Logitech G403 and find that its much better for smaller hands. I have been using a Razer Naga MMOG for years for games like WoW and FFXIV. Well, the left and right top buttons were no longer responsive, so I decided to get the Razer Naga Chroma MMO corded mouse as a replacement. The price is great on Amazon, and I love the cycling lights. I also like that the number pad keys stick out more than my previous Naga, making the keys easier to find by touch. The new Naga has a rougher texture than the old Naga. Im used to the smooth texture, so that will take some getting used to. Now, despite being larger than my old Naga, it is about 5 grams lighter. Not a game changer, but something to be aware of. The biggest issue for me is the large size of this mouse. I am female and my hands arent that big (6.5 inches from bottom of palm to top of middle finger, 3 inches across middle of palm). The mouse is wider and slightly taller than my old one. This makes it a little awkward and uncomfortable to grip. If your hand is larger than mine, then this will probably be great for you. I understand that Razers demographic will for the most part have larger hands than mine. The part of the mouse protruding out of the right side is what made it uncomfortable for me. The thumb grip position between all the buttons also forced me to hold the mouse in one set position rather than being free to adjust my grip. Just didnt work for me. Also, you have to have razer synapse open all the time in order to use your profiles or use custom dpi values... the moment you close synapse, the dpi values revert to the default pre-programmed ones. I also just re-bought a razer mamba, and while I was able to save profiles to the on-board memory just a few months ago via razer synapse, close it, and continue to use those profiles just fine without synapse open when i originally tried out the mamba, now I cannot do that either. i.e. the new razer synapse doesnt allow you to save profiles to the on-board memory of a mouse that previously, just a few months ago mind you, was able to actually use its on-board memory... I dont know why razer did that but it really sucks imo. I remember when synapse didnt even ask you to log in, it was just plug and play. You chose whether to save the profile on synapse or the mouses on-board memory. Now your telling me I cant even use the on-board memory of a mice??? Im really sick of this always online/interconnected baloney these days. Other than that, the mouse was almost perfect. I really liked the buttons around the thumb grip. And there is something about the 16000 dpi 5g laser sensor in older razer mice that just feels so darn good... even newer mice like the logitech g pro dont feel as good to me. Of course, this is just personal opinion. Also, the shape may be just what your looking for for all I know - again, I was just stating how I felt about it. I really like that I have the option to dim the LEDs from 33% to 100%. At 100% brightness, the unit gets a bit warm, but I couldnt care less. Its just keeping the place warm for me until I come back -_o I now have my buttons set to change between Windows 10 virtual desktops by using a macro of "ctrl + win + left" & "ctrl + win + right". I also have the task manager on one, but I wasnt able to setup a macro to get through opening a program that needs UAC ok/cancel. I was a bit disappointed at that, but I will get over it. Ive owned every iteration of the Razer Naga and I cant imagine playing games without it. The 12 buttons on the side make it easy to switch weapons in FPS games and use entire action bar in MMOs just by using the thumb. I primarily use it for playing MMOs and having the entire damage rotation and targeting in one hand is very convenient. This iteration added ability to quickly step up or down DPI on the mouse making it more or less sensitive for when you need that extra precision. This is not as useful in MMO games but helps a great deal when playing a sniper in FPS games. Being able to create macros for the buttons makes it even more convenient if you need to do a sequence of events with a single button press. The mouse overall feels well built and fits my hand perfectly.
