If they would have announced the complete editions release date, I would have waited for the full version, and NOT purchased the first release of this game only to find out that it was not the complete game. It does have a few downsides but I think that for the price point it is an excellent value. Heres the reasons why: --> it has a decent set of drivers which give it great sound quality, making it great for music and game audio --> noise cancelling mic (cuts out all the white noise and garbage sound) --> its has integrated Dolby Pro Logic, which simulates 5.1 and 7.1 surround from a standard stereo (2 speaker) stream --> its comfy, with decent padding on the ear cups and head band you can wear it for hours --> the cup design helps to reduce outside noise (my GF has snuck up on me more than a couple of times while I wore these) --> it is very affordable as gaming headsets go (just over $40 after tax and shipping) However there are a few downsides: --> the adapter is USB and not the standard 3.5mm, which means you cannot use it on any consoles or (most) other devices; only computers. --> the ear cups tend to swivel around a lot (especially if you move your head a lot) --> the head band doesnt always stay put (again only if youre moving your head a lot) In general the features outweigh the downsides and for the price you cant beat it. Mic is clear and crisp and is definitely leagues better than any built in laptop mic and the price alone is worth it for that. The headphones themselves are great, and very loud. They do sometimes get uncomfortable if you wear them for too long, which is absolutely a problem if youre going to be playing games for extended durations, and if youre buying these youre probably in that crowd. They look and feel great, and I usually dont say that about gamer gear because the designs of these peripherals are usually very much not subtle at all, but even though the red definitely makes it clear this is branded towards gamers, its not the kind of ridiculous neon you might see on other headsets, which is a plus for me personally. Overall though the price alone makes this worthwhile, and my experience with them has been great, albeit they might be fatiguing to wear after a certain point. Por Manuel M. em 2 de novembro de 2017 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada Ok, so the main issue with this particular headset is its construction... the sound is good (not as good as i expected but that was my fault for letting the brand name influence my purchase) but the headset itself is poorly constructed... out from the box the 3.5 to 2.5 mm jack adapter was defective, you have to wiggle it so you can get audio on both sides, one week in using it started loosing sound on the right side and you had to wiggle it around so it would start working on both sides but soon after it would go mute on the right side again... when inspected, the volume control on the cable had the wires badly soldered so they where just coming loose, after fixxing it twice, i just cutted out the volume control and just entangled the wires together and, after that, while fixxing the heaset on my head one of the cups snapped... when i checked to see if i could glue it together, to my surprise, i found that all that held it together was a flimsy plastic stick... this headset is not worthy of the brand or the price, avoid. That is dissapointing because I was looking for an upgrade when my last headset (plantronics) did the same thing, after a year and a half. UPDATE: Yeah so I paid $15 in 5 day shipping it to corsair for a replacement. I was very satisfied with the customer service (all online so I didnt have to talk to anyone) and they got shipped it back to me in a day...but also using 5 day shipping. After 2 weeks I finally had gotten it back and they had ended up sending a new set. I was very happy cause I liked the sound and feel the only problem was the failure. It has since been a month and a half later and now it has broken again because of the wire. Last time it disconnected at the ear piece but this time it was at the volume control. Because it lasted the about the same amount of time and the same way I have concluded that the headset is not making sure the wires dont break away. Either way I am not paying the minimum of $15 for shipping it again, making the total payed for this headset $90. Moreover, the mic quality is so bad it make alot of background noice and the sound it receives is so low + mic static noise. Tough, but fun as can be. Too bad about the install issues I listed in the original review. This woulda been a 4 or 5 star rating for the campaign play. Original review: I needed to get this review up right away to hopefully save others great frustration. Before you put the disc in your PS3 for the first time, disconnect from the Internet and DO NOT do the update. Only after the game has been installed should you attempt any updates. If you attempt to do the update right from the start along with the initial instal (as the pop up screen will ask you to do upon initial start-up) you may run into some very severe issues. I did as have many others. Google it. It can cause the game to not play and freeze on a black screen and then take several hours to delete the bad patch. So, just remember to disconnect from the web first. Then install the game. Then reconnect to the web and do any updates. You will be glad you did. If you did not have this problem, good for you. I did and so did many others. Like I said, google it. I have been playing the game for a couple of hours now. About half as much time as it took to deal with the install issues. Game seems fine. I dont imagine it sucking. However, it can never get better than 3 stars from me given the terrible software issue upon install. It was just rediculous. Note too that if you already did the update that causes the freezing and are trying to delete it, it can take over 2 hours to delete. I used to be really into the Xbox 360 and got in PS3 pretty late so I missed a lot of PS3 games when they first came out. After recently playing resistance 3 let me just say WOW! Where to begin? Ill split it into three sections. Here we go. Story: Even though you dont have to play the first two resistance games to know whats going on is recommend it. The story I thought was pretty good. I liked the characters and there were some parts where the story had me like aw why did that happen? Haha it had me really into it. Its fairly long too. I like to take some breaks when playin a game. I think it took me three days to finish up the single player story. Overall I thought it was good. Graphics: The graphics are pretty damn good in resistance 3. Id say its probably one of the best looking games on the PS3. Right next to uncharted games and kill zone 2 and 3. Gameplay: Gameplay is great. I do enjoy first person shooters. Resistance 3 has you in some pretty good gun fights. There are moments when youll be fighting alone. Others times youll be up against giant monsters in boss fights. You can also upgrade weapons you use in the game which is pretty cool. Verdict: Resistance 3 is a damn good game. I honestly regret not play this one back in the day. If you own a PS3 and havent played resistance 3 then shoot get out there and grab a copy. Its a lot of fun. Also if youre like me and have become spoiled with your character being able to regenerate from injuries without the aid of a health pack then expect some annoyance as this game is like that. You dont have the luxury of a self regenerating character and while it takes some massive damage to finish your character off unless you can find some health packs on every corner you have to be careful. Still the game is incredible and if you already have the first or second game then this is a definite must to add to your PS3 game library. The first one had clunky controls while 2 it was just difficult and stressful. 3 takes place after 2. The protagonist from 2 is killed from the new protagonist of 3. Although there was a cure the world is set in a devastating post apocalypse setting. I found this part as a what if scenario. As for the story driven I feel that 2 was slightly more interesting although 3 has its good qualities of a story. The graphics are better than the past two like a better update. The guns get some sort of upgrade after using them a lot. I cant go full in the games story details but its pretty great. Like most campaigns this one is fairly shorter than the other 2 but its still fun overall even a second gameplay. Capelli has to trek cross-country to New York in order to destroy a gigantic terraforming machine before it drops the temperature so low that the planet can no longer sustain human life. His journey takes you to a number of great locals, the variety of which is one of the best aspects of the game. You start in a rundown, bleak dust bowl of a village with few survivors. Soon youre fighting off hordes of enemies while traveling on a tug boat down a creepy, mist-covered river. Later youre trying to survive being captured by a bunch of crazed escaped inmates in a decrepit prison. Theres even a thrilling train sequence that reminded me of "Uncharted 2," and a nightmarish town that reminded me of Ravenholm from "Half-Life 2." The cool weapons are the other key to "R3s" success; all of them level up through use and can be accessed via the weapon wheel as in "R:FoM," replacing only holding 2 at a time as in "R2." One new weapon lets you freeze enemies solid and then shatter them into pieces. Another makes green bubbly spores develop and then explode. There was online competitive and co-op multiplayer, but the servers were shut off in April of 2014. Channel separation and stereo imaging are actually pretty good for a $10 earbud, but theyre still $10 earbuds so neither I, nor anyone else should be expecting miracles from the sound quality. The KZ ATR block outside noise much better than the Gumy Plus as well. Where these earbuds fall short are the design choices. Included with the earbuds were 3 pairs of ear tips, and no matter which size pair I have tried, the material does not grip the ear very well and so the earbuds are easy to nudge out of place. Further compounding this is the fact the cabling is coated in an attractive, but very grippy rubber. While wearing these at work, the grippy cable often catches on articles of clothing when moving or reaching across my desk, and nudge the earbuds out of place. These are advertised as sport headphones, but I cant imagine jogging, cycling, or working out with these without having to constantly fiddle with putting them back in place. All said, they sound fine for the price paid, but the design leaves a lot to be improved on. Replaced it with the Ringke Wave, same slim profile but much higher quality construction. One major flaw that caused me to return the Spigen Neo Hybrid, the thin hard plastic parts where the button cut outs are on either side bows out and ends up getting caught on things. I am sure these gaps will fill in with debris and make things worse over time. This was the first day of use. No amount of reattaching and pressing it in place helps. Sold my perfectly protected iPhone for top dollar just last week. That case did its job. Not a scratch did my old phone suffer. Ive had this case for my Note 8 for a week now, and I love it too. It creates a bumper for the screen to protect it from a direct face plant, but Im going to add to it a screen protector like I did with my iPhone. It does a decent job of protecting the phone while maintaining a very slim profile. Probably not something for really high impact resistance (like if you are worried about dropping it from a ladder or work in an industrial environment), but for everyday use it seems more that adequate. Others from Logitech do this but the buttons are on the bottom. The Logitech "Flow" software isnt quite there yet, especially cross-platform. I bought this to replace the MX Master 2S. I wish it was a little bigger like the 2S but its adequate. I do like the volume buttons (programmable) on the side better than the roller buttons on the 2S. The rollers on the 2S are difficult to fine-tune. I was always going too high or low. The 720 does a nice job overall. Thumbs up. First, the shape is causing me pain, which isnt the case with its bigger brother, the MX Master. Im not sure if its because its shorter, or less angled, or the position of the buttons, but this shape does not work for me. Furthermore, compared to more sophisticated Logi mice, switching between modes of the scroll wheel requires clicking a dedicated button - which is odly placed and serves as an additional programmable button on the MX Master. I dont care about all the buttons, I just wanted a mouse that is able to be used on multiple devices. Works great for that. If you want to use for gaming the silly side button is an app switcher, and I did not want to install the mouse software to reprogram it; again just be aware. I came from the Corsair K70 RGB with Cherry red MX switches. Let me start with the build and quality, it is amazing. Solid feel and the lighting behind the white key caps are very bright and eye catching. It definitely looks like a premium keyboard. With all of that being said I dislike it for the one thing it’s meant for typing. I’ve never had so many typos and windows key press errors. While playing PUBG, Fornite and Counter Strike I hit the windows key more times I could count. If you’re a gamer you know that causes you to jump out of the game. I do feel like the keys are higher than what I am use to. The switches have a longer travel time to actuate. In my honest opinion going from the Corsair to Cherry Reds to this was a huge mistake for me. The trade off is the beauty over functionality. I’m choosing to go back and go with the Corsair K95 Plantium. It’s a true and trusted for me. This was purely from my experience and that is the only reason I deducted one star. I also would like to mention I have smaller hands and could be the cause of it. All of my Corsair keyboards came with wrist rest and this keyboard did not come with one. The first is that the default, and unchangeable, lighting mode is "breathing", which cycles the lighting on and off at an interval. This is fine if you have the Razer software installed as you can change it, but if you do not, there is no way to change it to a constant backlight. That was the minor annoyance. The main problem is longevity, which in my case was just over one year. The E key on my board does not respond half the time, and as the warranty is only a year, there is no way to fix it, so Im left with a $99 hunk of metal. Save your money and look for another keyboard which uses Cherry MX switches. This my first Razer keyboard (first Razer anything really) and I fell in love with the feel and response time, the slickness & the clickyness of this keyboard. the lighting is actually pretty bright even though the lighting falls on a dark background. the only thing that would have made this keyboard ultimate is if they put a couple of USB ports on it, made the cord detachable and maybe made it spill proof and the underside metal and not plastic. My only nitpick about this keyboard really is that they didnt make all the symbols on the keyboard able to be illuminated (ex. ~!@#$%^ etc.) Overall this is a pretty solid keyboard and every bit worth the money. Its heavy duty, it clicks loud and feels smooth to type with. Amazing gaming keyboard for LoL and WoW. Updating my review because after heavy gaming for only two years, the qwer keys start to quit and the spacebar has sunk in so far on one side that it will only respond on the other side. Have to keep resetting the space key. My logitech keyboard, however has lasted for 5 years under heavy gaming pressure and still works completely. Switching back. Just like my matching Razer mouse that quit after short use. Love the concept and light up but too much sparkly and not enough worky worky. I came from the Corsair K70 RGB with Cherry red MX switches. Let me start with the build and quality, it is amazing. Solid feel and the lighting behind the white key caps are very bright and eye catching. It definitely looks like a premium keyboard. With all of that being said I dislike it for the one thing it’s meant for typing. I’ve never had so many typos and windows key press errors. While playing PUBG, Fornite and Counter Strike I hit the windows key more times I could count. If you’re a gamer you know that causes you to jump out of the game. I do feel like the keys are higher than what I am use to. The switches have a longer travel time to actuate. In my honest opinion going from the Corsair to Cherry Reds to this was a huge mistake for me. The trade off is the beauty over functionality. I’m choosing to go back and go with the Corsair K95 Plantium. It’s a true and trusted for me. This was purely from my experience and that is the only reason I deducted one star. I also would like to mention I have smaller hands and could be the cause of it. All of my Corsair keyboards came with wrist rest and this keyboard did not come with one. The first is that the default, and unchangeable, lighting mode is "breathing", which cycles the lighting on and off at an interval. This is fine if you have the Razer software installed as you can change it, but if you do not, there is no way to change it to a constant backlight. That was the minor annoyance. The main problem is longevity, which in my case was just over one year. The E key on my board does not respond half the time, and as the warranty is only a year, there is no way to fix it, so Im left with a $99 hunk of metal. Save your money and look for another keyboard which uses Cherry MX switches. This my first Razer keyboard (first Razer anything really) and I fell in love with the feel and response time, the slickness & the clickyness of this keyboard. the lighting is actually pretty bright even though the lighting falls on a dark background. the only thing that would have made this keyboard ultimate is if they put a couple of USB ports on it, made the cord detachable and maybe made it spill proof and the underside metal and not plastic. My only nitpick about this keyboard really is that they didnt make all the symbols on the keyboard able to be illuminated (ex. ~!@#$%^ etc.) Overall this is a pretty solid keyboard and every bit worth the money. Updating my review because after heavy gaming for only two years, the qwer keys start to quit and the spacebar has sunk in so far on one side that it will only respond on the other side. Have to keep resetting the space key. My logitech keyboard, however has lasted for 5 years under heavy gaming pressure and still works completely. Switching back. Just like my matching Razer mouse that quit after short use. Love the concept and light up but too much sparkly and not enough worky worky. What Ive learned, Ive ususally learned on my own or through YouTube. I have made MANY visits to the "Tube" to understand this game. I have been a RE fan since game 1. Ive watched the series grow, stumble, grow a little more, go completely away from the series, and finally upright itself. RE 2 Revelations is a great change of place since RE 5, 6, and Resident Evil Revelations. I mean, who can really be scared about fighting blobs of goo, moving rocks, and other throwaway monsters. I will list my pros and cons: Pros: The actual game play itself is relative easy. The creatures are way more scary (some actually look like ZOMBIES)! There are the invisible kind, which I had quite a bit of trouble with, mutations within mutations, and some kick-butt bosses. Since you have to play with BOTH members of your "team," you will need to learn to get a move-on. Creatures do not wait for you to combine your weapons, change your weapons, or even administer health. This game was indeed more survival horror instead of what weve seen since RE5. Cons: Please keep in mind these are MY cons. All you guys that I would consider PROS at this probably will get a good laugh and tell me to start watching TV again! Keep in mind that Im 62 and probably dont know HALF of what you guys know, so just bear with me. I do not like the way you change your weapons. RE Revelations was more simple and easier. I also dont believe Ill ever under the "mercenaries" game. I dont understand the concept of "destroying" your weapons. You also cannot interchange your acquired parts. All the characters come pre-equipped with weapons, so you never really can earn any kick-butt new ones (or can you?). All in all, though, this is the best RE in a long time. Por Brlane em 11 de abril de 2017 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada this is a true return to form for resident evil. this is the first resident evil game i have played since the outbreak games that FELT like resident evil. its dark its scary and atmospheric. you read files and explore dark creepy places. not run around mindlessly gunning down monsters. while i love resident evil 6 im not going to bash it because it was a great game as well. as for re5 i am still playing that game and will have a review coming later. i honestly think that capcom listened to the fans and gave us something good one last time (before the series moved on to the ps4) much like how order of ecclesia was the last good castlevania to be released. best of all theres no onslaught of quick time garbage that has been crippling the game since resident evil 4.(that is one of the only weak points in re4) claire redfield returns from resident evil 2 along side barrys daughter moira in her debut. the girls are kidnapped and barry burton from re1 returns to find them. there are 2 campaigns claire and moira and barry and natalia (another new character) the game is episodic in nature broken up in 4 parts when you finish claires story in each episode you then switch to barry for his adventure. i highly recommend this game for any resident evil fan Ler mais 4,0 de 5 estrelas Surprisingly good Por Misfit mitten em 15 de novembro de 2015 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada Having played through most of the games in the resident evil franchise, I found this game refreshing as it required more thinking than mindless shooting of the "infected" found in resident evil 6. There was definitely no quick-time, which seemed to plagued previous releases. The co-op was a disappointment as Moira and Natalia were incapable of firing any type of gun (a huge let down) a crowbar and brick are pitiful replacements. Although Natalias contribution was interesting, it was incredibly limiting and boring at times; which is more than can be said for Moiras sad flashlight. On the plus side, I now find myself reading Franz Kafka as his work was often quoted and inspired chapter titles (potentially more). Overall, the game was fun and scary (at times)! I thought the plot was pretty good, though it seems to be, basically, a rehash of Code Veronica--nothing spectacular but sows the seeds to keep the series going. The campaign itself was a little frustrating with ammo being ridiculously scarce and constantly needing to creep around as your secondary character to find precious sparkles. Where this game easily shines, and shines brightly, is the Raid mode. Its fantastic and fun revisiting levels and enemies from Resident Evil 6, Revelations 1 and Revelations 2. Ever since Resident Evil 3 introduced "The Mercenaries" that mode has always been my favorite part of the game (including Resident Evil 6--the one part that didnt suck). Revelations 2 is well worth a purchase for any Resident Evil fan--even those disillusioned by 6. I have already installed about 15 or so of these brackets, and have decided I like them better than the Sabrent dual SSD brackets. I have installed over 50 of the Sabrent brackets before I discovered these. These are easier to use for the most part. Also, these put the connectors in about the same location as a regular hard drive, so it fits more brackets (such as those blue plastic ones Dell uses). The ONLY thing that drives me nuts about these brackets is how they package the screws. It comes with 3 sets of 4 screws, each in their own little bag, which is TIGHTLY rolled up and then TAPED shut. It is really challenging to get the screws out without cutting yourself. I have written to Corsair to try to get them to change this, since I will probably be installing hundreds of these things. These brackets are good, but some of the edges are kinda sharp. Of course, if you work on computers a lot you realize there are a lot of sharp things inside a computer case. But for you novices out there, just be careful when you handle these. Bottom line: I prefer these over the Sabrents because of where they position the SSD connectors, and because it is easier to install a SSD in them. But then I realized Im the idiot and this bracket should not pay for my sins. If its helpful for any of you: I installed this in combination with a Samsung 850 EVO in a 21.5" 2011 iMac. As mentioned, it took me forever to figure it out before I finally realized it needed to be installed UPSIDE DOWN in order for everything to fit properly. They feature an all aluminum construction, making the adapter practically featherlight. I bought three of these recently to install in a MicroATX PC case I also recently purchased (Raijintek Styx). My case usually supports either one of two configurations: 1) 3x 3.5” HDDs + 2x 2.5” HDDs 2) 1x 3.5” HDDs + 4x 2.5” HDDs With three of these adapters, I can install EIGHT 2.5” HDDs... LOL! If you are not a case modder (and/or if you are afraid of breaking your stuff) just take my word for it— read no further. This is the adapter you want. If you ARE a case modder (and/or if you are not afraid of potentially breaking your stuff), then I have a pro tip for you: if you break the 2.5” HDD guide tabs off with a pair of pliers, it’s possible to install a 15mm tall 2.5” HDD (example: any 4TB 2.5” HDD currently on the market) IN ADDITION TO a standard height 2.5” HDD. If you succeed in breaking the tabs off cleanly, you will want to mount your 15mm tall drive in the bottom slot. While you’re aligning the drive with the screw holes, screw the screws in loosely, then gently push down on the drive and tighten the screws. Then, grab your standard height drive and align it with the screw holes on the top slot. Do the same as last time, except THIS time you will want to pull UP on the drive as you tighten the screws. If you did everything right, you will have a decent amount of space between the two drives and they should NOT be making any contact with each other. It may be possible to put TWO 15mm tall 2.5” drives in one adapter, but it may be too tall for in your 3.5” bay. However I have not tested this (...yet). Por Anon em 2 de novembro de 2016 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada Im an experienced computer builder and needed to mount an SSD in an older Thermaltake Armor MX Case. Pros: Very sturdy. Nicely finished. No sharp edges. Cool Corsair logo. Potential Cons: I really only have two: 1) The screws provided have a shallow cut Phillips screw head. None of the precision screwdrivers I own would unscrew these screws well. I had to use a pair of pliers to unscrew the screws from the drive after a screw fitting test. Very odd--never had this happen before--I have a comprehensive set of screwdrivers and none fit well. I ended up replacing them with standard SSD mounting screws, which had no problems. Tip: Its helpful to have a pair of long tweezers or a Kelly clamp handy if you want to mount an SSD in the lower slot to hold the screw steady when attaching the drive. 2) The mount does not fit exactly in the Thermaltake Armor MX screwless drive enclosures (which you need in order to fit the drives in the drive cage). I had to get a pair of tin snips to cut off about 2 to 3 mm off of the front corner of the mounting bracket to get the screw holes to line up. Im not blaming either Corsair nor Thermaltake for this--just noting it in case someone else wishes to use this mount with that particular case. In summary, great mounting bracket that will suit the vast majority of folks. Im only taking a half a star off for the odd screws. (It is possible that I got a bad set.) In any event, easily rectified and I would purchase this mount again.
