What Ive learned, Ive ususally learned on my own or through YouTube. I have made MANY visits to the "Tube" to understand this game. I have been a RE fan since game 1. Ive watched the series grow, stumble, grow a little more, go completely away from the series, and finally upright itself. RE 2 Revelations is a great change of place since RE 5, 6, and Resident Evil Revelations. I mean, who can really be scared about fighting blobs of goo, moving rocks, and other throwaway monsters. I will list my pros and cons: Pros: The actual game play itself is relative easy. The creatures are way more scary (some actually look like ZOMBIES)! There are the invisible kind, which I had quite a bit of trouble with, mutations within mutations, and some kick-butt bosses. Since you have to play with BOTH members of your "team," you will need to learn to get a move-on. Creatures do not wait for you to combine your weapons, change your weapons, or even administer health. This game was indeed more survival horror instead of what weve seen since RE5. Cons: Please keep in mind these are MY cons. All you guys that I would consider PROS at this probably will get a good laugh and tell me to start watching TV again! Keep in mind that Im 62 and probably dont know HALF of what you guys know, so just bear with me. I do not like the way you change your weapons. RE Revelations was more simple and easier. I also dont believe Ill ever under the "mercenaries" game. I dont understand the concept of "destroying" your weapons. You also cannot interchange your acquired parts. All the characters come pre-equipped with weapons, so you never really can earn any kick-butt new ones (or can you?). All in all, though, this is the best RE in a long time. Por Brlane em 11 de abril de 2017 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada this is a true return to form for resident evil. this is the first resident evil game i have played since the outbreak games that FELT like resident evil. its dark its scary and atmospheric. you read files and explore dark creepy places. not run around mindlessly gunning down monsters. while i love resident evil 6 im not going to bash it because it was a great game as well. as for re5 i am still playing that game and will have a review coming later. i honestly think that capcom listened to the fans and gave us something good one last time (before the series moved on to the ps4) much like how order of ecclesia was the last good castlevania to be released. best of all theres no onslaught of quick time garbage that has been crippling the game since resident evil 4.(that is one of the only weak points in re4) claire redfield returns from resident evil 2 along side barrys daughter moira in her debut. the girls are kidnapped and barry burton from re1 returns to find them. there are 2 campaigns claire and moira and barry and natalia (another new character) the game is episodic in nature broken up in 4 parts when you finish claires story in each episode you then switch to barry for his adventure. i highly recommend this game for any resident evil fan Ler mais 4,0 de 5 estrelas Surprisingly good Por Misfit mitten em 15 de novembro de 2015 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada Having played through most of the games in the resident evil franchise, I found this game refreshing as it required more thinking than mindless shooting of the "infected" found in resident evil 6. There was definitely no quick-time, which seemed to plagued previous releases. The co-op was a disappointment as Moira and Natalia were incapable of firing any type of gun (a huge let down) a crowbar and brick are pitiful replacements. Although Natalias contribution was interesting, it was incredibly limiting and boring at times; which is more than can be said for Moiras sad flashlight. On the plus side, I now find myself reading Franz Kafka as his work was often quoted and inspired chapter titles (potentially more). Overall, the game was fun and scary (at times)! I thought the plot was pretty good, though it seems to be, basically, a rehash of Code Veronica--nothing spectacular but sows the seeds to keep the series going. The campaign itself was a little frustrating with ammo being ridiculously scarce and constantly needing to creep around as your secondary character to find precious sparkles. Where this game easily shines, and shines brightly, is the Raid mode. Its fantastic and fun revisiting levels and enemies from Resident Evil 6, Revelations 1 and Revelations 2. Ever since Resident Evil 3 introduced "The Mercenaries" that mode has always been my favorite part of the game (including Resident Evil 6--the one part that didnt suck). Revelations 2 is well worth a purchase for any Resident Evil fan--even those disillusioned by 6. It has a hard rubberized plastic around corners allowing for a decent grip and making it somewhat easy to put the phone in and slip out without causing damage. It also has a hard plastic back with rubberized corners just slightly raised so you can set it down without worrying about the camera. The Note 4 fits perfectly snug inside and the power/volume buttons have no gap so feel nice and flush. I personally like the flaps to cover the usb/headphone port, they go in nice and snug and seem durable. There is easily enough open room to grab the s pen and also use the heart rate monitor on back. Overall it is a very nice case for the price. The only "con" is at least on mine, the bottom isnt perfectly flush just under the home button. But this has a slight advantage as it gives juuuust enough room to easily swipe your thumb at an angle over the fingerprint scanner. The unfortunate thing I find is that with time all clear cases start to become kind of dirty looking. This one became sort of grayish, which is not an entirely bad thing, considering I used it for 2 years. Also, I like the option to print a background that you can cut out using the stencil to place in the case. Its a cool idea that I did not take advantage of because Im lazy. Love the little flap covers for charging port and headphone jack to keep the dust out, They are still intact, especially the charging port which gets used everyday. Love the feel in my hand its not slippery. It comes with sticker stencile for back which can be used by creative types. I myself like it clear. Ive had many smartphones and have gone through many cases, and I can honestly say that this is my favorite. I got the clear version for the Note 4. Its the perfect blend between a rubber/TPU case and a hard plastic case. The sides feel soft like rubber, and the back feels like soft plexiglass. Its nice to be able to see the entire phone through this crystal clear case. The rubber on the sides covering the volume and power buttons is firm, but very easy to press, and you can feel the clicks of the buttons. All the cut-outs for the ports are perfectly aligned. The edge at the bottom of the case below the home button does dip down slightly, but I dont mind. The back of the case is pretty much flush with the camera lens, but there are are tiny feet on the back of the case in the corners that lift the lens and back of the case off whatever surface you set it on. It does say "Ringke FUSION" on the bottom right edge, but on the clear version it is in slightly raised clear letters and looks very tactful. The included template for tracing your own insert to put between the phone and the case is an interesting concept. The bonus screen protector is good quality and covers the main part of the screen, but not the bezels on the side, which Ive heard are slightly curved on this phone and hard for screen protectors to stick to. This one seems to fit nicely and does not show any signs of halo effect (protector peeling away from the curved edges). I thought this might be a temporary case and screen protector until finding something more expensive, but now Im just going to keep this one permanently. Highly recommended! I originally bought this so that I could decorate it, and I think itll be perfect for that. I actually plan on buying a second one, just to have, because I like it that much. I have an otterbox also, but its just so big and bulky. This is slim and comfortable and just a really good case. I dropped my phone twice today (but only from about foot off the ground), onto concrete, and its still perfect. The only thing I dont like about the case is the port covers. Its not that theyre bad, but they could use to be a little tighter fit (specifically the charging cover). Its somewhat loose when pushed in. Nothing major though and I wouldnt even dock a star for it. The shield that the case comes with, is sub-par though. Its too narrow (doesnt really go to the edge of the visual screen, and is FAR from the edge of the phone). Also, mine doesnt have the loose defect near the port. Its all very flush and tight all around. The charger pad that connects the wire to battery is too big and gets in the way of those buttons making it really hard to play while charging making the plug and play feature useless. The magnetic clip was a little worrying, I always get nervous whenever magnets are near my electronics, but it seems to be a fear of a bygone era. It has no negative effect on the kindle whatsoever. It does make a satisfying clicking noise, however, when I close my kindle. I really like that clicking noise. This is slimmer than the original Amazon Paperwhite case, which was gifted to me, which I like because one of the selling points of the Paperwhite is how small it is. My favorite part is the hand strap, which is one of the primary reasons, I purchased this case. I have a handstrap on my tablet case and I use it regularly when I make use of my tablet, it is equally useful on this paperwhite. I feel safe using my kindle in the bath or while on the train. The paperwhite feels secure on my hand. Its not perfect though, the strap would feel better if it was place more towards the center of the cover, that way people with small hands could use it better with one hand. The cover also feels somewhat tight when closing over the kindle. I keep feeling the need to stretch the cover a little to sit flush with the kindle face. When I do this, however, the sleep/wake function stops working. Overall, great case, definitely worth the 11$. Its the perfect case for the price. Por Freader em 9 de maio de 2016 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada After ten months of use, my main complaint with this Paperwhite cover, could be solved if the plastic side of the cover had the same cut-out for the charge port and off/on button on the top, as it has on the bottom. This would enable it to accept the Paperwhite upside down, which would make for an easy left-hand hold with the hand strap. This would also place the strap in a position easiest to use for those with small hands. The second complaint is unless one has a gargantuan hand, or holds the cover with two hands, while reading lying on ones back, the heavier Kindle side can easily fall forward towards your face. A snap or a magnet closure connecting the two sections would prevent that. Also, the flexible spine allows the heavier Kindle side to skew, causing one to twist their wrist to keep the print straight - not very ergonomic for long reading sessions. Another problem - the magnet has come out of its slot, preventing proper closure of the cover, which drains the battery when the Kindle turns on by itself, intermittently. This doesnt happen with the cover left open, but then that negates the reason for a protective cover when carried in a purse or backpack. I have a Marware easel-style cover for the old Kindle Keyboard. The cover flips over the top and is held to the second section at the bottom with a well-made elastic band, with a handstrap on the back for easy one-handed use with either hand. One can also stand it up like an easel, while following recipes. I have yet to find a similar style for the Paperwhite. Ive threatened to remove the leather side of the Swees cover and just slide the plastic side with the Paperwhite into the Marware cover - it fits! Other than the above points, the overall quality of the cover holds up really well. The stitching is still tight and unfrayed with daily handling over the past ten months, and the leather, front and back, is unscratched after being carried around in a purse. The elastic hand strap is actually not as useful as you might think - when you open the case and flip the cover around to the back of the Kindle, there is nothing to secure the front flap to the back. So whether or not you are using the hand strap, you still have to support the device with both your thumb and 4 fingers. Its marginally useful if you spend a lot of time reading while laying down with the kindle directly above your head. If this case had a magnet on the back of the case as well as the front, it would be a 5-star item. I had some hesitations about it when I first pulled it out of the box as some of the keys were just floating about but nothing was actually broken. No extra drivers necessary on install, just plug and play. My biggest annoyance is the backlight not defaulting to “on” and scroll lock always has to be enabled to keep the lights up but for basic gaming and web browsing this isn’t a terrible unit. I like the mecha membrane action and feel. The keys are not too far apart but still spaced enough to provide depth. The mouse is a solid mouse. Wish I could reprogram the side keys to not change web pages. I will have to say that the keys on the keyboard could have a lot shorter throw(distance from where your finger press the key and the key reaches the end of its stroke). I fee that you have to press the keep to far down. I know some people may prefer this feel. The mouse feels well built and durable. This combo is a great combo for the home office. I really like the placement and organization of the multimedia keys also. The scroll lock key is used to turn the backlight key on and off so if you use that key in applications well who knows what to do. The lettering on the keys (without backlight on) is hard to read even in good light, so if you hunt and peck type egads! I am sorta a type by feel borderline hunt and peck and it is rough so far after 7 days usage. There is a bit of an edge you can feel into your palm from the back edge of the mouse, nothing too bad but I feel it...rounded edge would have fixed that. The mouse has stayed backlit for a couple days, turned off other times. Now on to the pros...build quality is great for the money, heavy, pretty solid. The backlight looks really good to me, even coverage maybe could be brighter. The mouse looks very cool lit up. Price. The feel of the keys is quite nice in a medium softness but with clicks and clacks sound. This gets stars for even having backlight at this price. I am going to use it in my home studio and need the backlight for hunt and peck typing in low light. I have Corsair K70 keyboards and M65 and M95 mice that do not have the annoying turn on backlight thingie but they were 4 to 5 times more expensive. Not even a week has past and the mouse wheel is starting to squeak quite noticeably... I did not find any use for the playback media buttons since it does not work with anything beyond using VLC or Windows Media Player. Not long after the ctrl key felt off to me when I pressed it, but was easily fixed by popping the key back in. Based on my experience, its an okay product and I appreciate the fact that it has led since it helps me see what keys Im pressing at night. The build quality is decent enough besides the minor issues Ive stated above. I do not like the button placement for the back/forward page on the mouse because it makes it rather easy to accidentally click those buttons when using the mouse. I find it inconvenient that for some applications the led will shut off and I would have to reactivate it by clicking the screen lock key The dpi settings were a nice addition and I would have liked to see some included software however that may be asking too much... Anyway, I would recommend this combo if youre looking for cheap mouse and keyboard combo with led. I would like to note, compared to what Im used to the keyboard itself has a bit of weight to it. Its a solid pair, both work and look great and feel solid and I didnt have to think twice about the price which is always great. BUT, after about a month now, the quality is unfortunately showing through and I dont think I can strongly recommend this package for anyone who plans to do at least a moderate amount of gaming with them. Issues: -The keyboard has no onboard memory and the light has to be manually turned on each time, which isnt a huge deal except the button to power on the LEDs is also the scroll lock button for some strange reason. So this specifically effects working in spreadsheets for me, which I do on a regular basis, and I have to constantly turn the lights off and back on to be able to use the arrow keys to move around objects on screen, which is really annoying. -The LEDs on the keyboard look great, its very solid and a good color. However, the lights are behind the keys instead of actually inside each one, which means the light is hard to see through the key labels unless youre looking straight down. This isnt usually an issue on keyboards except the labels on the keys arent white so if the LED is off or you arent looking straight down at them youre basically looking at black keys and cant clearly see any of them. -The above issue wouldnt be a real issue if it wasnt for the lack of angle provided by the feet underneath the keyboard, flipping them out practically doesnt lift the keyboard at all so the keyboard is basically always just laying flat. -The mouse, unlike the keyboard for some reason, keeps its LED lights on all the time, even when the PC is shut down. Its not a serious issue, but it seems an odd design choice to have the mouse lights always on but the keyboard lights have to manually be turned back on on power up. -The last issue has only recently came up. Like I mentioned above Ive now had the product for close to a month, and the mouse scroll wheel has already started to squeak quite a bit from time to time unless scrolling very quickly. I had some hesitations about it when I first pulled it out of the box as some of the keys were just floating about but nothing was actually broken. No extra drivers necessary on install, just plug and play. My biggest annoyance is the backlight not defaulting to “on” and scroll lock always has to be enabled to keep the lights up but for basic gaming and web browsing this isn’t a terrible unit. I like the mecha membrane action and feel. The keys are not too far apart but still spaced enough to provide depth. The mouse is a solid mouse. Wish I could reprogram the side keys to not change web pages. I will have to say that the keys on the keyboard could have a lot shorter throw(distance from where your finger press the key and the key reaches the end of its stroke). I fee that you have to press the keep to far down. I know some people may prefer this feel. The mouse feels well built and durable. This combo is a great combo for the home office. I really like the placement and organization of the multimedia keys also. The scroll lock key is used to turn the backlight key on and off so if you use that key in applications well who knows what to do. The lettering on the keys (without backlight on) is hard to read even in good light, so if you hunt and peck type egads! I am sorta a type by feel borderline hunt and peck and it is rough so far after 7 days usage. There is a bit of an edge you can feel into your palm from the back edge of the mouse, nothing too bad but I feel it...rounded edge would have fixed that. The mouse has stayed backlit for a couple days, turned off other times. Now on to the pros...build quality is great for the money, heavy, pretty solid. The backlight looks really good to me, even coverage maybe could be brighter. The mouse looks very cool lit up. Price. The feel of the keys is quite nice in a medium softness but with clicks and clacks sound. This gets stars for even having backlight at this price. I am going to use it in my home studio and need the backlight for hunt and peck typing in low light. I have Corsair K70 keyboards and M65 and M95 mice that do not have the annoying turn on backlight thingie but they were 4 to 5 times more expensive. Not even a week has past and the mouse wheel is starting to squeak quite noticeably... I did not find any use for the playback media buttons since it does not work with anything beyond using VLC or Windows Media Player. Not long after the ctrl key felt off to me when I pressed it, but was easily fixed by popping the key back in. Based on my experience, its an okay product and I appreciate the fact that it has led since it helps me see what keys Im pressing at night. The build quality is decent enough besides the minor issues Ive stated above. I do not like the button placement for the back/forward page on the mouse because it makes it rather easy to accidentally click those buttons when using the mouse. I find it inconvenient that for some applications the led will shut off and I would have to reactivate it by clicking the screen lock key The dpi settings were a nice addition and I would have liked to see some included software however that may be asking too much... Anyway, I would recommend this combo if youre looking for cheap mouse and keyboard combo with led. I would like to note, compared to what Im used to the keyboard itself has a bit of weight to it. Its a solid pair, both work and look great and feel solid and I didnt have to think twice about the price which is always great. BUT, after about a month now, the quality is unfortunately showing through and I dont think I can strongly recommend this package for anyone who plans to do at least a moderate amount of gaming with them. Issues: -The keyboard has no onboard memory and the light has to be manually turned on each time, which isnt a huge deal except the button to power on the LEDs is also the scroll lock button for some strange reason. So this specifically effects working in spreadsheets for me, which I do on a regular basis, and I have to constantly turn the lights off and back on to be able to use the arrow keys to move around objects on screen, which is really annoying. -The LEDs on the keyboard look great, its very solid and a good color. However, the lights are behind the keys instead of actually inside each one, which means the light is hard to see through the key labels unless youre looking straight down. This isnt usually an issue on keyboards except the labels on the keys arent white so if the LED is off or you arent looking straight down at them youre basically looking at black keys and cant clearly see any of them. -The above issue wouldnt be a real issue if it wasnt for the lack of angle provided by the feet underneath the keyboard, flipping them out practically doesnt lift the keyboard at all so the keyboard is basically always just laying flat. -The mouse, unlike the keyboard for some reason, keeps its LED lights on all the time, even when the PC is shut down. Its not a serious issue, but it seems an odd design choice to have the mouse lights always on but the keyboard lights have to manually be turned back on on power up. -The last issue has only recently came up. Like I mentioned above Ive now had the product for close to a month, and the mouse scroll wheel has already started to squeak quite a bit from time to time unless scrolling very quickly. The game looks fantastic, controls are spot on, and there is variety in vehicle selection to keep things lively. Having been a huge fan of Dirt 2, I was pretty excited to get my hands on a copy of Dirt 3. Their claim that they are returning to their rally roots only heightened this excitement. I was confused by the game cover, but I also realize they need to turn a profit and get as many people to buy their game as possible, so in my mind they were just trying to reach out to people who do not find WRC style-racing their cup of tea. In my mind, a rally oriented game should have you spending most of your time pretty much raising against the clock and occasionally seeing other racers on the track. I didnt care much for the X-games feel of Dirt2, but Dirt 3 doesnt feel all that different to me. A lot of time and effort was put into the Gymkhana events and X-Game events are still there. There are six main race modes: rally- point to point racing where you have a co-driver helping you navigate to the finish line. trailblazer- point to point racing where no co-driver assists you and faster vehicles are available. head2head- You are on a track and you race another driver (with no contact possible). Landrush- You race around a track in either trucks or buggies (full contact). RallyCross- You race around a track in cars (full contact). Gymkhana- You perform "tricks" to gain points to beat the competition. To me, only the first two count as rally but a fair amount of time is given to each racing mode. Head2head, Landrush, and rallycross offer a nice variety to the mix and keep things fresh. And Gymkhana....well Im not sure how that fits in there. Many people are thrilled to have it, but I saw it as a nuisance. You perform the same tricks over and over and over again. Basically you need to master drifting and driving around in a circle without falling asleep (think NASCAR, but a MUCH tighter circle). But my biggest gripe about the game have to do with DLC. At the time of this review the game has been out for less than a month and content was just released that you need to pay for. This is no secret, one glance at the trophy list reveals that at this point there will be additional content to come. This does not bother me. What DOES bother me as that when you play the game you are constantly reminded that you do not have access to all the vehicles. I will need to go the PSN store to download what ends up being five cars for six dollars. This has left me with the impression that I do not have a complete game. I bought the game at full price, but I did not get the full product. I understand having additional content, as well as the VIP Pass, but do I need to be reminded of it every single time I want to race? This has left me with a sour taste in my mouth for this game. I am sure many people have no problems with this, but consider what your garage will look like when all DLC content is out (and especially if you ended up buying the game used and do not want to buy the VIP Pass). As of now I have no plans of buying the DLC. I hate to be a Negative Nancy, but I have seen only positive reviews, and the 1-star reviews for this game on Amazon are pretty much non-reviews. I just feel like a few things should be highlighted to give a broader picture of what the game has in store for those who buy it. For many, these issues will not apply. Dirt 3 (despite all of this complaining) is still a great game, and in terms of off-road racing I have not played anything that compares to it with the exception of Dirt 2. Now it has offline two player races and can have a single race without entering career mode!!!!!!!, the Gymkhana parks are very fun to play, you can spend lots of hours just trying to do the stunts asked in just one park, and I think there are like 3. If you like cars and racing, this IS THE GAME!. When GT5 came out I was going to buy it, but it was a big deception, you cant even get out of track cause youll hit an invisible shield (what a shame) and dirt look very bad, it disappears when you go through it. On the other hand in this game I have found no flaws. You can even upload your replays to youtube, which may take some time but it worth it. You get Rally, Rally Cross, Land Rush, Trail Blazing, Gymkhana, Baja. On asphalt, dirt and snow. Pros: Great Graphics, single race, offline multiplayer (2), physics, dirt looks, snow tracks, flash backs, you can choose between old or new cars even 60s (60s,70s,80s,90s) on some kind of races. Cons: Not so real when landing a jump(this may not seem as a con for everybody), some times the game crashes when using flash backs continuously (just like 2 times) and some times you really need to use the flashback. Dirt3 is a very fundamentally sound racer/rally game. You begin the career mode with some simple rallies and rally-cross events. As you progress the events progress in some degree of difficulty. Beginning rally stages are short with few tricky turns and gradually the difficulty of the rally stages gets harder. Some of the later hill climb events can be challenging with the extremely quick dedicated hill climb vehicles. The rally-cross events are a lot of fun as you go fender to fender with other rally-Xers. The buggy rally-cross events were especially challenging for me. Each of the vehicle and especially vehicle classes are distinct with different types of vehicles handling differently. Later Gymkhana events are introduced as is drifting. The Gymkhana events are a great change of pace from the other more traditional "rally" fare and are fun. Doing doughnuts around pylons and taking out targets in a 4 wheel drift is very satisfying and challenging. The Gymkhana events are not easy. Overall, this is a great racing/rally game and I would highly recommend it. Fits very nicely on the X, but wish that there was more of a lip for the back camera, as well as the front screen. The case does not exactly have a thick enough lip covering those two areas, whereas previously, their was a significant lip on their cases for the iPhone 6 that protected the camera and screen quite well (especially when placing on a flat surface, you dont have to worry about it scratching). I bought their previous cases for my iPhone 6 and am really happy with their protection from drops and designs. I kind of wish they offered the blue and gold combo from their parallax series for the iPhone 6. First I ordered the wrong style, then I get the right one today and it breaks before I can even use it. I think I will be trying a different products. If it breaks that easily just gently lifting it, I have concerns about how much protection it would provide.
