Audio quality is clear, and it is the most comfortable headset that Ive ever owned. The ear cups do a good job of canceling noise out as well. The microphone works great also, however a plastic piece broke off of it, leaving an exposed wire and a shaky, unstable mic. Take a look at the attached picture if you want to see exactly what Im talking about. I have contacted Kingston customer service asking them to replace the mic since this headset comes with a 2 year warranty and am currently waiting to hear back from them. I will update my review, and depending on how they handle this issue change my rating to either 1 or 5 stars. Update: Kingston replaced the mic for free under warranty. They sent it with 2 day shipping and didnt even require me to send the broken part back. For me as a live streamer on Twitch.tv I need two things for long gaming sessions headset wise: Comfort and Quality. These are by far the most comfortable headset I have ever worn. The design is sleek and it is WELL made. Most headsets nowadays come with leatherette ear cups and I CANT STAND IT. So I was happy to see the HyperX Cloud had replaceable Velour Ear Cushions. (the cloth ones) That was a huge plus for me. The soft leather band on the headset makes your skull feel like you are in HEAVEN. Too many headset makers dont care much for the pressure a headset puts on your noggin. HyperX does. I have had these 2 months prior to the recent release and not one sign of wear, and trust me I have a HUGE head. Now for sound. 53MM Drivers. This is better then most out there. And it is obvious in the sound. I play World of Warcraft and other MMOs, and let me tell you the sounds I can now hear that I couldnt before. The sound is so much clearer you wonder how the hell you tolerated your previous headset. The Aluminum build gives the Cloud a great shape and shows that HyperX cares about the longevity of their products. If you want comfort and quality sound this is your headset. And at $99? Yeah its worth it. I wanted to have the stereo version since my creative fatal1ty is now 2 yrs old. Just felt like having an update. Using the 3.5mm jacks for headphones and microphone i was able to utilize my onboard asus sound card with crystal sound 2.0 same as the creative, but sure its stereo - however when configured right you can pinpoint location pretty well. The HyperX Cloud is just as comfy as the Cloud II. Great build quality i feel with them. Love the white and black color - its looks clean and crisp and now also matches my new rig which is an artic white corsair 760t. Sound - it is a step up to the creative - good lows, mids n highs and good base. in games it is not too boomy or bassy but has just the right amount for the explosions in a game like battlefield 4 - but does not hinder you from pinpointing sound. I love it so far - just wore it for 8+ hrs straight gaming and didnt have a problem. If Kingston reads this review - please see the review i put in for the HyperX Cloud II and why i gave it a 2 stars. all the info is there. If you can make a Kingston HyperX Cloud III based on the constructive criticism i have for the Cloud II and have it to where you have the best of both worlds of the Original and the II esp in white or pink, i will definitely buy those when they drop. The sound quality is excellent, seems to be well made, (although I havent owned it for very long yet) and I have no problems with the microphone quality. I was pleasantly surprised at how many adapters HyperX included without additional cost. It came with multiple AUX extender cables (the ones with a mic and speaker jack) plus a 2-to-1 standard AUX adapter. One of the extender cables included a nice volume adjustment box. They even included a replacement pair of earphone pads, which were a soft cloth material. The ones that come on the headset are a leather-like material, so I guess HyperX wanted us to have the option. They also included a travel case for the headset. Would definitely recommend to a friend. The magnetic clip was a little worrying, I always get nervous whenever magnets are near my electronics, but it seems to be a fear of a bygone era. It has no negative effect on the kindle whatsoever. It does make a satisfying clicking noise, however, when I close my kindle. I really like that clicking noise. This is slimmer than the original Amazon Paperwhite case, which was gifted to me, which I like because one of the selling points of the Paperwhite is how small it is. My favorite part is the hand strap, which is one of the primary reasons, I purchased this case. I have a handstrap on my tablet case and I use it regularly when I make use of my tablet, it is equally useful on this paperwhite. I feel safe using my kindle in the bath or while on the train. The paperwhite feels secure on my hand. Its not perfect though, the strap would feel better if it was place more towards the center of the cover, that way people with small hands could use it better with one hand. The cover also feels somewhat tight when closing over the kindle. I keep feeling the need to stretch the cover a little to sit flush with the kindle face. When I do this, however, the sleep/wake function stops working. Overall, great case, definitely worth the 11$. Its the perfect case for the price. It didnt put the kindle to sleep when I first tried to use it, but I realized it wasnt pushed down into the case entirely. It worked perfectly after getting the kindle to fit in the case properly. Por Freader em 9 de maio de 2016 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada After ten months of use, my main complaint with this Paperwhite cover, could be solved if the plastic side of the cover had the same cut-out for the charge port and off/on button on the top, as it has on the bottom. This would enable it to accept the Paperwhite upside down, which would make for an easy left-hand hold with the hand strap. This would also place the strap in a position easiest to use for those with small hands. The second complaint is unless one has a gargantuan hand, or holds the cover with two hands, while reading lying on ones back, the heavier Kindle side can easily fall forward towards your face. A snap or a magnet closure connecting the two sections would prevent that. Also, the flexible spine allows the heavier Kindle side to skew, causing one to twist their wrist to keep the print straight - not very ergonomic for long reading sessions. Another problem - the magnet has come out of its slot, preventing proper closure of the cover, which drains the battery when the Kindle turns on by itself, intermittently. This doesnt happen with the cover left open, but then that negates the reason for a protective cover when carried in a purse or backpack. I have a Marware easel-style cover for the old Kindle Keyboard. The cover flips over the top and is held to the second section at the bottom with a well-made elastic band, with a handstrap on the back for easy one-handed use with either hand. One can also stand it up like an easel, while following recipes. I have yet to find a similar style for the Paperwhite. Ive threatened to remove the leather side of the Swees cover and just slide the plastic side with the Paperwhite into the Marware cover - it fits! Other than the above points, the overall quality of the cover holds up really well. The stitching is still tight and unfrayed with daily handling over the past ten months, and the leather, front and back, is unscratched after being carried around in a purse. The elastic hand strap is actually not as useful as you might think - when you open the case and flip the cover around to the back of the Kindle, there is nothing to secure the front flap to the back. So whether or not you are using the hand strap, you still have to support the device with both your thumb and 4 fingers. Its marginally useful if you spend a lot of time reading while laying down with the kindle directly above your head. If this case had a magnet on the back of the case as well as the front, it would be a 5-star item. Comparison Vid: [...] I was sick and tired of the Razer knock off clicky switches. It was nice for a couple months, but now it is quite irritating and unsatisfying to type on. Therefore I decided to get the Corsair Strafe RGB with MX Brown switches. DESIGN: Personally I like this design better than the Blackwidow. The Blackwidow seems to have a matte fingerprint/oil attracted finish to it. This keyboard however has a clean sleek design that trumps that Blackwidow. The finish on this keyboard seems to be fingerprint resistant and doesnt seem to stain as easy as the Blackwidow. ALSO IT COMES WITH THE OG CORSAIR SAILS LOGO (THANK YOU CORSAIR) not the new "Corsair Gaming" logo that everybody hated. KEYS: I have never owned a Cherry MX Keyboard until now and IT IS AMAZING TO TYPE ON. This keyboard has the option of MX Browns, Reds, or Corsairs "Silent Switches." I decided to get Browns because its halfway between a Red(Silent) and Blue (Clicky) switch, basically the best of both worlds. Browns are not as loud as blues, theyre nearly the same as Reds actually. Its just that Brown switches have a more tactile feedback feel when you type on them compared to Reds. The keycaps themselves on the other hand are similar in feel and look to the Razer keycaps. BUT Corsair includes a set of FPS and MOBA keycaps ALONG WITH a keycap puller so you can customize it to your needs. Props to Corsair for that. LEDS: The casing for the keycaps are clear so you get the maximum shine of color from the switches. Every switch has their own RGB LED that is customize able to what game youre gonna play. There are also two white LED strips on the side of the keyboard to add a nice clean finish to the keyboard. I have attached pictures to clarify. And there are 3 brightness settings for you to choose from. OTHER: Like I said before, Corsair throws in some extra accessories to sweeten the deal: -MOBA/FPS Keycaps -Keycap puller -Detachable wrist rest (which is quite comfortable to use actually) Now to the reason why Im giving this 4 stars... SOFTWARE: Im just gonna say it, the Razer Synapse software for the Chroma is much better than Corsairs CUE software. It took me about 30 minutes to an hour to figure out how to set a certain keycap a certain color. They do have instructions on their website, but its not clear enough for all the features. When I got my Razer Blackwidow Chroma, it was simple (INSANELY SIMPLE) to customize the LEDS to your specific needs. However for Corsair, it seems like theyre getting there but ever so slowly. For example you need to go to 3 or 4 different pages on Corsair software to set all the keys white and WASD a different color. It was just a very frustrating experience for me using the CUE software. Hopefully in the future it will be on the same level as Razers Synapse. OVERALL PROS: -Cherry MX Browns -Design -Price (Cheaper than Blackwidow Chroma) -Accessories (Keycaps/wrist rest) -USB Passthrough CONS: -CUE Software - No headphone/mic passthrough In the end, I recommend this keyboard to anyone who is looking for an upgrade or their first mechanical keyboard. The price of $149 is very much worth it considering all the extra accessories that come along with it. As for the software, give it some more time and Im sure major improvements will be made. Those felt amazing, so I thought. After around 10 minutes of typing and playing Battlefield 1, I realized these switches feel cheap and are not good for me. I did a bunch more research and decided I must have a keyboard with RGB lighting. Of all the keyboards that I saw through videos on YouTube, the Strafe was the most impressive. I tried to find a Strafe RGB with blue switches to mimic the Razer greens, but I could only find a refurbished one at Newegg for $150. Turns out there were issues with them and theyre no longer being made. I decided to go with the Reds because thats what many gamers I know use. I have been using this keyboard for 11 days now and I am very satisfied with it. The software is easy to use and allows for customization, the keys feel great when typing and when playing (FPS games that is), it looks really pretty, and it even has a USB port. But to use that you will need to plug in the second USB that is attached to the keyboards main cable. All in all, everything about this keyboard is absolutely wonderful. In case you didnt know, there are a few people that that frequent r/RGB Profiles on Reddit and the Corsair forums that create custom RGB lighting schemes that you can use with Corsair peripherals. Everyone can make custom profiles, but it is tough and is much easier to download profiles. I also own a Corsair M65 Pro and I found a guy through the Corsair RGB forums that lets you download free lighting schemes for all devices- so theyre in sync. He even has really great videos demonstrating the lights. He goes by "Schwitz". I am very satisfied with this keyboard. I attached a video of some of my favorite profiles. We have Windows 10 and it was a little weird to install. I used our old keyboard to download the software and had to restart at least once and just wait for the keyboard to start registering keystrokes, but it somehow snapped to it. I have another device with Cherry MX Brown keys and its such a pleasure to use for writing. The Blue are even clackier and old school, with very clear, distinct keying. The USB pass through is really nice as well. If you wait for it to be on sale like $100 dollars for the RGB, then its a really good deal. There are some cons though: the cable is very thick and there is no cable management which might be a problem for some. The software is hard to use and only for windows no linus or mac software compatibility(there is a unofficial software called ckb for mac, and it works great). The pros: keys are nice and fast, I have the browns which have the really nice tactile feedback. The RGB is bright and can show really fun patterns and designs. The build great and solid even without the glossy metal like on the K70. One important thing to note is that on my personal keyboard one of the keys light went off and stayed off on the first day I got it. I tried unplugging and re plugging and restarting the software but no luck, the key still works but the light doesnt. It bugs me but is no problem cuz the key still works. Overall this is the best keyboard for the price and the pros overweight the cons. The instructions call for downloading the controller software, but that is for Windows only (once you find it on the site) and I have a Mac. I downloaded some Mac software but it kept quitting unexpectedly. At one point I was convinced that I needed to buy additional controller hardware. After I started downloading a Windows VM image so that I could then download the controller software, another reviewer (thank you) pointed out that the controller software only discovers the IP address and all configuration is done through the web at the access point IP address. That grossly simplified things for me. I queried my DHCP server for the devices IP address (the only TP-Link device in the list of clients), logged in using the default credentials (which required searching the web), and I was off to the races. Once I realized that the instructions created more problems than solutions, all was well. This is a 5-star product if they would exclude the configuration instructions. I am docking it one star for the misleading instructions. My existing router/AP is on one side of a large house, creating dead zones on the other floors at the opposite end of the house. I installed this AP on the side of a bookshelf in my home office at the opposite end of the house, and now my home is flooded with 2.4GHz and 5GHz of WiFi goodness. In fact, my cell phone prefers this signal over the (already very good) existing router/AP signal in every room except where the existing router/AP is located. If you have dead zones where an ethernet port is located, buy this, plug it in, mount it, then throw away the instructions. You will be happy with the purchase. Log into your router and view network devices (or dhcp history) to find its IP, then connect to that ip in your browser. The AP uses dhcp by default, so you should be able to find its address easily. After connecting to the web UI, it will ask for a password (default was admin:admin I think). I bought this for residential use, to extend wifi to the back rooms of the house. Dissapointed with residential routers and extenders by Netgear and Asus that would drop out or crash periodically, I turned to this. I already had ethernet run through the closets and walls, so this was a good fit, as I could just punch through the wall to mount it up high, and power it with POE. I just had to buy a gigabit poe injector along with this unit, as my router is not gigabit POE.  iCreatin 48V35W Gigabit Power over Ethernet POE Injector Adapter Power supply,1000Mbps IEEE 802.3af/at Compliant, Up to 100 Meters (328 Feet) This product supports ceiling rail mounting (commercial buildings), ceiling tile mounting (also commercial), and keyhole ceiling/wall mounting. The hardware for all options is provided, though the screws for wall mounting are a little too short to go through drywall into a stud, and the drywall anchors are the bad hex type that do not expand and can push too far into the wall. A 12v quality power supply is provided as well, if you do not intend to use POE. No ethernet cable is provided. Performance and compatability on various channels is very good. Range is excellent. This is a commercial grade product. It supports 99 wireless clients. It does not need to be restarted or fooled with once set up, as it is designed for 24/7 load. The web interface is clean and simple to allow managing the AP. You do not need to use their EAP software. SSH is supported as well. The unit does not do routing, NAT, etc. Use a router/gateway for that. VLAN and management VLAN is supported. Portal is also suppoted, which allows you to give tokens out to users for temporary access (like giving patrons in a restaraunt wifi for 1 hour). You can disable the front LED status light (default green when on). The ethernet port does not flash. 2.4 and 5 gig bands have excellent range when mounted up high. Devices with line of sight get 800+ mbps connections over AC. Dumb devices (pcs, phones, android TV) that have both 2.4ghz and 5ghz will be automatically connected to the 5ghz band if signal strength is good, which is a nice feature to clean up wifi congestion. Been using this for some months without issue, so I purchased a second, to replace an existing ap and extend coverage. They never bog down or need to be restarted. I have worked with many of the higher end APs (I used to be a wireless engineer & RF designer), and this unit blew my socks off on how well it worked and the features vs. cost. (One note - if you are using this with a VPN, you may need to lower frame sizes at your router. If your VPN crashes your DSL, you will need to look at that. I had that issue and reduced frame size at the router and fixed it). This unit can do everything from SNMP, VLANs, fencing (guest networks), multi-band (I use both, and they work fine), full MAC filtering and ACLs, and it even has management software! It can do variable channel width, auto channel, adjustable Tx power, and can load balance with other TP-Link APs to make sure 1 AP does not have too many clients on it. It can also perform QoS traffic prioritization and rogue AP detection. My only negative is that the connections are on the outside of the unit, so you may not want to have it where someone can mess with it (like kids in schools, etc). It even has ceiling grid mounting, so I would not hesitate to deploy this at a small office. Performance has been very good, and it just runs and runs. Never need to reboot it or anything. Get the PoE injector to mount it anywhere. In my opinion, this unit really comes close to matching up with units costing many times more than this one.
