Audio quality is clear, and it is the most comfortable headset that Ive ever owned. The ear cups do a good job of canceling noise out as well. The microphone works great also, however a plastic piece broke off of it, leaving an exposed wire and a shaky, unstable mic. Take a look at the attached picture if you want to see exactly what Im talking about. I have contacted Kingston customer service asking them to replace the mic since this headset comes with a 2 year warranty and am currently waiting to hear back from them. I will update my review, and depending on how they handle this issue change my rating to either 1 or 5 stars. Update: Kingston replaced the mic for free under warranty. They sent it with 2 day shipping and didnt even require me to send the broken part back. For me as a live streamer on Twitch.tv I need two things for long gaming sessions headset wise: Comfort and Quality. These are by far the most comfortable headset I have ever worn. The design is sleek and it is WELL made. Most headsets nowadays come with leatherette ear cups and I CANT STAND IT. So I was happy to see the HyperX Cloud had replaceable Velour Ear Cushions. (the cloth ones) That was a huge plus for me. The soft leather band on the headset makes your skull feel like you are in HEAVEN. Too many headset makers dont care much for the pressure a headset puts on your noggin. HyperX does. I have had these 2 months prior to the recent release and not one sign of wear, and trust me I have a HUGE head. Now for sound. 53MM Drivers. This is better then most out there. And it is obvious in the sound. I play World of Warcraft and other MMOs, and let me tell you the sounds I can now hear that I couldnt before. The sound is so much clearer you wonder how the hell you tolerated your previous headset. The Aluminum build gives the Cloud a great shape and shows that HyperX cares about the longevity of their products. If you want comfort and quality sound this is your headset. And at $99? Yeah its worth it. I wanted to have the stereo version since my creative fatal1ty is now 2 yrs old. Just felt like having an update. Using the 3.5mm jacks for headphones and microphone i was able to utilize my onboard asus sound card with crystal sound 2.0 same as the creative, but sure its stereo - however when configured right you can pinpoint location pretty well. The HyperX Cloud is just as comfy as the Cloud II. Great build quality i feel with them. Love the white and black color - its looks clean and crisp and now also matches my new rig which is an artic white corsair 760t. Sound - it is a step up to the creative - good lows, mids n highs and good base. in games it is not too boomy or bassy but has just the right amount for the explosions in a game like battlefield 4 - but does not hinder you from pinpointing sound. I love it so far - just wore it for 8+ hrs straight gaming and didnt have a problem. If Kingston reads this review - please see the review i put in for the HyperX Cloud II and why i gave it a 2 stars. all the info is there. If you can make a Kingston HyperX Cloud III based on the constructive criticism i have for the Cloud II and have it to where you have the best of both worlds of the Original and the II esp in white or pink, i will definitely buy those when they drop. The sound quality is excellent, seems to be well made, (although I havent owned it for very long yet) and I have no problems with the microphone quality. I was pleasantly surprised at how many adapters HyperX included without additional cost. It came with multiple AUX extender cables (the ones with a mic and speaker jack) plus a 2-to-1 standard AUX adapter. One of the extender cables included a nice volume adjustment box. They even included a replacement pair of earphone pads, which were a soft cloth material. The ones that come on the headset are a leather-like material, so I guess HyperX wanted us to have the option. They also included a travel case for the headset. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Unfortunately we probably got a unit from the first production run, so there are many issues that still need to be sorted out before you should buy this. So far I havent been able to print anything other than a 1" tall sample part. Here are some of the problems: 1) Filament sometimes gets stuck during removal. Makerbot suggests using pliers to pull out filament, but doing this yanks the Smart Extruder off the cart, which is apparently bad for it. Had to disassemble my Smart Extruder to remove the filament plug that had formed inside. 2) Calibration seems broken. The nozzle scrapes along the build plate even after multiple rounds of leveling and calibration. 3) Filament jams repeatedly. Was unable to actually print after the initial test part. Likely due to the calibration issue described above. Fails about 15-20 seconds into print. Resuming or restarting the print does not help. 4) Slow firmware. Takes a very long time to boot up, to upgrade firmware (15 minutes), to calibrate, to start printing, etc. If youve used any other Makerbot product youll be pretty disappointed by this. 5) Poorly designed filament guide. The Z18 uses a long flexible plastic straw as a guide, and it kind of floats near the print head. It occasionally gets caught or kinked against the lid, which yanks the Smart Extruder off the cart. Unlike the Replicator 2, for example, the straw does not fit into the print head. It just dangles. Observations based on firmware 1.2.0.112. Update: Makerbot sent out a new Smart Extruder via overnight mail. Now it will start extruding without immediately jamming, but I still cant print. Nothing seems to stick to the base plate, so when I come back after 30 minutes to check on things, theres usually a huge glob of molten filament around the extruder tip and a birds nest of extruded filament scattered around the build plate. They finally released a better smart extruder, which you have to pay for. The amount of time spent on getting a good print is far too high - I could send out files to print for cheaper. PREVIOUS: For the cost, this printer should be far beyond its experimental phase and should be a consumer-ready device -- not something one has to spend hours toying with in order to get it working. The 1st printer we received had multiple issues and errors -- A) The printer could not detect that the door was closed. B) The ribbon cables inside the machine were not fully seated. C) The "smart" extruder was not being detected. D) Once printing, prints could not stick to the print bed without using a raft (Im still testing options to correct this). E) The updated firmware does not work (causing a "carriage disconnected" issue, and then an error in which the printer couldnt detect the smart extruder) User support (I have a MakerCare Plan) has to be the worst support I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I was on the phone that first evening for over an hour just waiting for a human to answer. I had submitted a case ticket as well, with no reply. I finally reached a human the next morning and he was completely clueless and unhelpful -- all he could do was request the printers diagnostic logs so an expert could review them and get back to me (I emailed the logs to him, with no reply of receipt, and no answer to correct the printers issues -- it has been 2 weeks!!!). I found a user group on Google for Makerbot Owners and found more support and answers there than Makerbots User Support or website. I reseated the interior cables, factory reset the printer, and rolled back firmware (seemed to solve most of the issues with the smart extruder and carriage being detected). I then printed a couple test models that come on the printers storage and a model of my own. There were a few hiccups, but the prints turned out fairly well (hence the rating above 1*). I havent solved the issue of successfully printing without a raft yet, but the model I created and printed turned out quite well (except it could have used some supports, which I didnt check ON). Other CONs: The spool should have a simple hinged piece to keep pressure on the filament, so it cannot unravel (seems like it would be simple to implement). The electronic noises the printer makes are annoying (not the mechanical noises). The bright lights inside the printer dont turn off (Im not sure if they can be turned off) The web cam is not very useful Final Comments: We sent the printer back and got a new one -- got error code 13 and 1500 on the new printer. I reseated the cables, which fixed both errors. I am printing now, and it seems to be working fine now. Hopefully I can work with the printer to get the best results, but this printer is definitely not ready for regular consumers. I wanted to have the stereo version since my creative fatal1ty is now 2 yrs old. Just felt like having an update. Using the 3.5mm jacks for headphones and microphone i was able to utilize my onboard asus sound card with crystal sound 2.0 same as the creative, but sure its stereo - however when configured right you can pinpoint location pretty well. The HyperX Cloud is just as comfy as the Cloud II. Great build quality i feel with them. Love the white and black color - its looks clean and crisp and now also matches my new rig which is an artic white corsair 760t. Sound - it is a step up to the creative - good lows, mids n highs and good base. in games it is not too boomy or bassy but has just the right amount for the explosions in a game like battlefield 4 - but does not hinder you from pinpointing sound. I love it so far - just wore it for 8+ hrs straight gaming and didnt have a problem. If Kingston reads this review - please see the review i put in for the HyperX Cloud II and why i gave it a 2 stars. all the info is there. If you can make a Kingston HyperX Cloud III based on the constructive criticism i have for the Cloud II and have it to where you have the best of both worlds of the Original and the II esp in white or pink, i will definitely buy those when they drop. The sound quality is excellent, seems to be well made, (although I havent owned it for very long yet) and I have no problems with the microphone quality. I was pleasantly surprised at how many adapters HyperX included without additional cost. It came with multiple AUX extender cables (the ones with a mic and speaker jack) plus a 2-to-1 standard AUX adapter. One of the extender cables included a nice volume adjustment box. They even included a replacement pair of earphone pads, which were a soft cloth material. The ones that come on the headset are a leather-like material, so I guess HyperX wanted us to have the option. They also included a travel case for the headset. Would definitely recommend to a friend. I bought a pair of Sony Bluetooth headphones almost two years ago for my now twelve year old daughter, and I was so impressed with them that I decided to buy this pair after checking out all of the positive reviews. Well, the majority of reviews were spot-on. These things put out very good sound and I was most happy to hear that the bass was not overpowering. (That was my biggest fear before purchase). The battery life on these headphones is excellent, as well as the charging time. The fit is superb. Although they may be marketed as "on ear", they are nearly "over the ear" phones, and, very comfortable I might add. The cans arent too big and they arent too small....they are just right. (Funny, where have I heard that before?) They have virtually no sound leakage either (yes, sounds weird, but really, the person on the side of you wont hear all of your jam), which is especially good for those long airplane flights or bus rides. I think these are the best bluetooth headphones for 100 bucks. Sony did a great job on these. Pros: 30 hours battery Nice design NFC pairing (just hold your phone to the NFC sign and it will automatically connect to them every time, even if the headphones are off) Great bluetooth range (can walk around my apartment and the connection does not suffer anywhere) They sound really good. Better than my beats headphones. No cons for me. Now if you compare them to the XB950s there are some differences. I believe they both have their pros and cons. The XB650s have these things over the XB950s: Better design. These are much smaller and they dont look like huge earmuffs like the 950s. 30 hours battery life compared to the 20 hours on the XB950s. Lighter in weight compared to the XB950s. These actually tell you the battery level compared to the XB950s which you have to look at confusing light pulses. Better balanced sound and still has a lot of bass. The XB950s have these things over the XB650s: It has an AUX port if you decide not to use bluetooth. The XB650s do not have an AUX port. It has an "extra bass" button and the XB650s do not. Sound is a tiny bit louder than the XB650s. Overall I think the XB650s are better. The aux port that the 950s have is not a big deal to me because my laptop and phone have bluetooth. Also, the aux port on the 950s only work with that specific aux cable that it comes with. The headphones design makes it so that other aux cables will not be able to fit in the slot. The Extra bass boost button on the 950s are also not a big deal to me. The 950s without the bass boost already sound really bass heavy and the button is just overkill. And I like bass. I mostly listen to hiphop too so its not like I am a person listening to classical music. I do like that the 950s are a little bit louder. But its not a real big difference and definitely not enough of a difference for me to choose the 950s over the 650s. I would say that the 650s are bass heavy headphones and the 950s are a little bit too much even without the bass boost on. Overall, the smaller look, the longer battery life, the more balanced sound are all reasons why I chose the 650s over the 950s. And the 650s are 98 bucks right now on amazon. Definitely worth the money. Ive had the 950s for since around Christmas so about 5 months and they have been my main headphones until now that I got the 650s. I just really did not like how the 950s look like huge earmuffs on your head. They also felt heavy while wearing them. The 650s took care of these issues and are now my go to headphones. My wife has a pair of the 950s that I really liked (bass is ridiculous but better to have too much and EQ it out). Unfortunately the 950s cost $200 and I just didnt feel like going there for my sometimes-y listening. I saw these for $130 and while still above what I wanted to spend, they had a pair at the store in a listening kiosk and I was blown away. They actually sounded better balanced than the 950s (which were also in the kiosk) yet still churned out tons of bass. Here are my explained thoughts: Build Quality (B): "Very" lightweight with a metal band connecting the cans via a sandwich of generic plastic that have decent adjustability. The cups can swivel 180 deg so you can lay them around your neck in a little more comfort or store them flat. They dont feel expensive but dont look cheap. I got black cause Im not flashy but saw the blue and red and they certainly show off some of the design elements better. Fit, Comfort, Operation (A): I usually prefer over-the-ear headphones but these on-the-ear phones do an amazing job of creating a seal that keeps bleed in or out very low. They are very lightweight so fatigue should not be an issue and theres no pressure points on the ears or on the top of the head. The controls are all on the right cup and work smoothly and provide great feedback. Uses standard micro USB for charging. This set does not have a wired option like the 950. I have not run the battery down as I charge it every other night I use it and I probably never will if it gets even close to the 30 hours of battery advertised. Sound (A): The most important part. There is a strong V profile to all these "ExtraBass" headsets and some people may be bothered by this colored sound but it does a good job of presenting you good amounts of everything from low to high. The bass is strong but not silly like the 950s are capable of. I did EQ everything from 125Hz down by -3db to get to my taste. Highs and mids are crisp and clean and overall reproduction should sound great most ears. Time will tell how well they hold up but the sound is amazing, comfort is high and the price (at least for me) was very reasonable. I did not purchase from Amazon (had store credit for a return). Comparison Vid: [...] I was sick and tired of the Razer knock off clicky switches. It was nice for a couple months, but now it is quite irritating and unsatisfying to type on. Therefore I decided to get the Corsair Strafe RGB with MX Brown switches. DESIGN: Personally I like this design better than the Blackwidow. The Blackwidow seems to have a matte fingerprint/oil attracted finish to it. This keyboard however has a clean sleek design that trumps that Blackwidow. The finish on this keyboard seems to be fingerprint resistant and doesnt seem to stain as easy as the Blackwidow. ALSO IT COMES WITH THE OG CORSAIR SAILS LOGO (THANK YOU CORSAIR) not the new "Corsair Gaming" logo that everybody hated. KEYS: I have never owned a Cherry MX Keyboard until now and IT IS AMAZING TO TYPE ON. This keyboard has the option of MX Browns, Reds, or Corsairs "Silent Switches." I decided to get Browns because its halfway between a Red(Silent) and Blue (Clicky) switch, basically the best of both worlds. Browns are not as loud as blues, theyre nearly the same as Reds actually. Its just that Brown switches have a more tactile feedback feel when you type on them compared to Reds. The keycaps themselves on the other hand are similar in feel and look to the Razer keycaps. BUT Corsair includes a set of FPS and MOBA keycaps ALONG WITH a keycap puller so you can customize it to your needs. Props to Corsair for that. LEDS: The casing for the keycaps are clear so you get the maximum shine of color from the switches. Every switch has their own RGB LED that is customize able to what game youre gonna play. There are also two white LED strips on the side of the keyboard to add a nice clean finish to the keyboard. I have attached pictures to clarify. And there are 3 brightness settings for you to choose from. OTHER: Like I said before, Corsair throws in some extra accessories to sweeten the deal: -MOBA/FPS Keycaps -Keycap puller -Detachable wrist rest (which is quite comfortable to use actually) Now to the reason why Im giving this 4 stars... SOFTWARE: Im just gonna say it, the Razer Synapse software for the Chroma is much better than Corsairs CUE software. It took me about 30 minutes to an hour to figure out how to set a certain keycap a certain color. They do have instructions on their website, but its not clear enough for all the features. When I got my Razer Blackwidow Chroma, it was simple (INSANELY SIMPLE) to customize the LEDS to your specific needs. However for Corsair, it seems like theyre getting there but ever so slowly. For example you need to go to 3 or 4 different pages on Corsair software to set all the keys white and WASD a different color. It was just a very frustrating experience for me using the CUE software. Hopefully in the future it will be on the same level as Razers Synapse. OVERALL PROS: -Cherry MX Browns -Design -Price (Cheaper than Blackwidow Chroma) -Accessories (Keycaps/wrist rest) -USB Passthrough CONS: -CUE Software - No headphone/mic passthrough In the end, I recommend this keyboard to anyone who is looking for an upgrade or their first mechanical keyboard. The price of $149 is very much worth it considering all the extra accessories that come along with it. As for the software, give it some more time and Im sure major improvements will be made. Those felt amazing, so I thought. After around 10 minutes of typing and playing Battlefield 1, I realized these switches feel cheap and are not good for me. I did a bunch more research and decided I must have a keyboard with RGB lighting. Of all the keyboards that I saw through videos on YouTube, the Strafe was the most impressive. I tried to find a Strafe RGB with blue switches to mimic the Razer greens, but I could only find a refurbished one at Newegg for $150. Turns out there were issues with them and theyre no longer being made. I decided to go with the Reds because thats what many gamers I know use. I have been using this keyboard for 11 days now and I am very satisfied with it. The software is easy to use and allows for customization, the keys feel great when typing and when playing (FPS games that is), it looks really pretty, and it even has a USB port. But to use that you will need to plug in the second USB that is attached to the keyboards main cable. All in all, everything about this keyboard is absolutely wonderful. In case you didnt know, there are a few people that that frequent r/RGB Profiles on Reddit and the Corsair forums that create custom RGB lighting schemes that you can use with Corsair peripherals. Everyone can make custom profiles, but it is tough and is much easier to download profiles. I also own a Corsair M65 Pro and I found a guy through the Corsair RGB forums that lets you download free lighting schemes for all devices- so theyre in sync. He even has really great videos demonstrating the lights. He goes by "Schwitz". I am very satisfied with this keyboard. I attached a video of some of my favorite profiles. We have Windows 10 and it was a little weird to install. I used our old keyboard to download the software and had to restart at least once and just wait for the keyboard to start registering keystrokes, but it somehow snapped to it. I have another device with Cherry MX Brown keys and its such a pleasure to use for writing. The Blue are even clackier and old school, with very clear, distinct keying. The USB pass through is really nice as well. If you wait for it to be on sale like $100 dollars for the RGB, then its a really good deal. There are some cons though: the cable is very thick and there is no cable management which might be a problem for some. The software is hard to use and only for windows no linus or mac software compatibility(there is a unofficial software called ckb for mac, and it works great). The pros: keys are nice and fast, I have the browns which have the really nice tactile feedback. The RGB is bright and can show really fun patterns and designs. The build great and solid even without the glossy metal like on the K70. One important thing to note is that on my personal keyboard one of the keys light went off and stayed off on the first day I got it. I tried unplugging and re plugging and restarting the software but no luck, the key still works but the light doesnt. It bugs me but is no problem cuz the key still works. Overall this is the best keyboard for the price and the pros overweight the cons. In and around the pool. It is by far my favorite waterproof case. Very slim, I have used life proof and otter box and this is one of the slimmest cases I have seen even slimmer than most non-waterproof cases. Very good drop protection it advertises like 6ft when most only offer 3ft and I have dropped it 4 times 2 of which I really panicked but not a scratch. Once the case popped open on one side but the phone did not come out. I dont know if that is by design, but if you drop it remember to check it and make sure its on good before going into the water. None of these issue would cause me to not to buy this cast again however. Its the best waterproof case I have used or seen. Very slim, I have used life proof and otter box and this is one of the slimmest cases I have seen even slimmer than most non-waterproof cases. Very good drop protection it advertises like 6ft when most only offer 3ft and I have dropped it 4 times 2 of which I really panicked but not a scratch. Once the case popped open on one side but the phone did not come out. I dont know if that is by design, but if you drop it remember to check it and make sure its on good before going into the water. This game comes in traditional packaging for the 3DS, and has a small pamphlet showing how things work and introducing characters of the Super Monkey Ball series. As for the game in the 3DS, the splash screen is not the traditional 3D revolving logo, but a image that jumps up and down. The game is very easy to get, but relatively hard to master. The characters have no distinct differences in gameplay, so any one you choose will work the same as the others. You go through simple levels while getting bananas to reach a goal. The games level designs are very simple, ranging from basic lines to intricate designs that make you think. The game doesnt ever get very difficult, though, so there was a lack of intricacy somewhere in the designs. Theres bumpers around the edges of the levels, so youre not going to die easily (if at all). This is probably the most annoying thing about the game- you almost never die, so theres no point in collecting the bananas in the stage (30 get you a life). Compared to my experience with the Game Boy Advance version, this game seems like it was designed for the 10-and-under crowd. The motion sensor is very boring, actually, and is nowhere near as precise as the joystick imput. I got this game on sale for $10 here on Amazon, so Im not going to complain too much. The game relies heavily on multiplayer with you having to select a region to play in and join a user created team (or create one) from the get go. Ideally this is great, as you can theoretically be going to battle in Mech style gang wars with people in your local region, all with your own heavily customized war machine. The problem is, there are nowhere near enough people playing this game for that the be successful. I am sure this game is thriving in Japan, but most of the US console market is invested in games like the COD series, etc... to humor this one. If they didnt region lock the multiplayer and fixed the matchmaking and menus, this might be more enjoyable. Theres not much fun in an endless string of "Destroy all AI enemies" maps. The level of customization in this game is awesome though. You really do get to have a sense of ownership when you create your own AC and bring it to the battlefield, though the menus are pretty boring to navigate through. Other than the feeling of ownership you get from making your own AC, theres a TON to be desired. Very outdated graphics(too much brown), a terrible campaign mode with a convoluted story and cheesy dialog, and a broken multiplayer mode. The only reason I am giving this 3 stars, and not less, is that I didnt play it when the game was brand new so I am giving it the benefit of the doubt that there were way more people playing when it was first released. I can see the potential level of fun playing with and against other human players. As of today though, finding anyone in the multiplayer mode is like navigating through the desert in search of shade and water. So if you buy now, you will most likely have to suffer through just playing against super boring AI opponents. Following in the footsteps of Armored Core 4 and Armored Core: For Answer, this game makes significant improvements on the games engine and base mechanics. That said, this game greatly assumes that you have played previous Armored Core games. The in-game tutorial is short and will not adequately equip you for some of the harder missions, and certainly not for Player-versus-Player combat. The finest parts of the game must be learned through experience, from other players, or through faqs, walkthroughs, and the like. For those who havent played previous Armored Cored games please read this section: This is a fast-paced mech game where you will have an assortment of armaments at your disposal to take down a variety of enemies. You will have everything from handguns, rifles, gatling guns, several energy weapons, and the famous blades and laser blades. Your enemies will be anything from helicopters to other armored cores. The Story and Order Missions will take you through the main story and side missions, but the main draw is playing against other players. A new feature to this games is the ability to form a Team. Your team will acrew points from your completed missions and battles, unlocking new parts. Your team can also stake your claim on a territory in any of the eight areas of the game. This feature allows you to have allies that will greatly help your chances when facing other players online. Lastly, you can also sign-up to be a mercenary, allowing yourself to be drafted into another players Story or Order mission. This helps spice things up a bit. Overall, you have yourself a difficult game that will surely leave you tweaking your Armored Core for days, weeks, and months to come. I havent played multiplayer so I cant speak for that. Ive been playing the AC series for years too and this is kind of a new level of boring. The AC construction gets boring really fast, you unlock more parts as you go through the story but those parts are more or less old parts with different skins and stats. Not like in previous AC titles where you unlock some fun looking laser rifles and awesome shoulder mounted grenade launchers. Painting/customizing is better though with more detailed paint jobs. Combat has improved with a change in the controls. Now when a weapon is empty you can swap it out with another you have stored on yourself. There is now a sort of rack/paper/scissors element to combat with weapons and armor being three different types: Kinetic, chemical, and energy. This kinda makes some enemies annoying as they can be resistant to your primary weapons forcing you to use more ammo on them. A fan of the series may want to try this, personally Im kinda turned off by it but will probably pick it up again later when the urge strikes. I gave this mouse to my husband, and he says he loves this mouse and its perfect for his large hands. (I have changed the rating from 4 to 5 stars because my husband loves it better than his old style Naga, but if you have small hands then I dont think this will be comfortable for you). I have switched to a Logitech G403 and find that its much better for smaller hands. I have been using a Razer Naga MMOG for years for games like WoW and FFXIV. Well, the left and right top buttons were no longer responsive, so I decided to get the Razer Naga Chroma MMO corded mouse as a replacement. The price is great on Amazon, and I love the cycling lights. I also like that the number pad keys stick out more than my previous Naga, making the keys easier to find by touch. The new Naga has a rougher texture than the old Naga. Im used to the smooth texture, so that will take some getting used to. Now, despite being larger than my old Naga, it is about 5 grams lighter. Not a game changer, but something to be aware of. The biggest issue for me is the large size of this mouse. I am female and my hands arent that big (6.5 inches from bottom of palm to top of middle finger, 3 inches across middle of palm). The mouse is wider and slightly taller than my old one. This makes it a little awkward and uncomfortable to grip. If your hand is larger than mine, then this will probably be great for you. I understand that Razers demographic will for the most part have larger hands than mine. The part of the mouse protruding out of the right side is what made it uncomfortable for me. The thumb grip position between all the buttons also forced me to hold the mouse in one set position rather than being free to adjust my grip. Just didnt work for me. Also, you have to have razer synapse open all the time in order to use your profiles or use custom dpi values... the moment you close synapse, the dpi values revert to the default pre-programmed ones. I also just re-bought a razer mamba, and while I was able to save profiles to the on-board memory just a few months ago via razer synapse, close it, and continue to use those profiles just fine without synapse open when i originally tried out the mamba, now I cannot do that either. i.e. the new razer synapse doesnt allow you to save profiles to the on-board memory of a mouse that previously, just a few months ago mind you, was able to actually use its on-board memory... I dont know why razer did that but it really sucks imo. I remember when synapse didnt even ask you to log in, it was just plug and play. You chose whether to save the profile on synapse or the mouses on-board memory. Now your telling me I cant even use the on-board memory of a mice??? Im really sick of this always online/interconnected baloney these days. Other than that, the mouse was almost perfect. I really liked the buttons around the thumb grip. And there is something about the 16000 dpi 5g laser sensor in older razer mice that just feels so darn good... even newer mice like the logitech g pro dont feel as good to me. Of course, this is just personal opinion. Also, the shape may be just what your looking for for all I know - again, I was just stating how I felt about it. It has many display settings (colors, color-cycling, etc.) and each button can be programmed to do whatever you want, so as a gamer, he is absolutely thrilled with it. He also loved the shape (very ergonomic) and that the texture has better grip, as opposed to his older version that was very smooth and not the easiest to hang on to when youre trying to move quickly. It also allows you to speed up or slow down the response time of the mouses movements on-screen, so he can customize it to exactly what he needs. Were both really happy with the purchase! I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of options I have for programming this mouse. The grip itself is awesome! I love it so much! I really like that I have the option to dim the LEDs from 33% to 100%. At 100% brightness, the unit gets a bit warm, but I couldnt care less. Its just keeping the place warm for me until I come back -_o I now have my buttons set to change between Windows 10 virtual desktops by using a macro of "ctrl + win + left" & "ctrl + win + right". I also have the task manager on one, but I wasnt able to setup a macro to get through opening a program that needs UAC ok/cancel. I was a bit disappointed at that, but I will get over it. Ive owned every iteration of the Razer Naga and I cant imagine playing games without it. The 12 buttons on the side make it easy to switch weapons in FPS games and use entire action bar in MMOs just by using the thumb. I primarily use it for playing MMOs and having the entire damage rotation and targeting in one hand is very convenient. This iteration added ability to quickly step up or down DPI on the mouse making it more or less sensitive for when you need that extra precision. This is not as useful in MMO games but helps a great deal when playing a sniper in FPS games. Being able to create macros for the buttons makes it even more convenient if you need to do a sequence of events with a single button press. The mouse overall feels well built and fits my hand perfectly. Replaced it with the Ringke Wave, same slim profile but much higher quality construction. One major flaw that caused me to return the Spigen Neo Hybrid, the thin hard plastic parts where the button cut outs are on either side bows out and ends up getting caught on things. I am sure these gaps will fill in with debris and make things worse over time. This was the first day of use. No amount of reattaching and pressing it in place helps.
