The pattern on the back increases grip without increasing drag when removing it from a pocket. Has not shown much wear from daily use. What I would like to see is a model without the slot in the back for users who wont take advantage of the magnetic mount. That way the case would be thinner and slightly lighter. Thats all this case really needs to be perfect. Please manufacture a model that is thinner without the option for a plate and Ill buy that as well. Has protected my Note 8 from minor drops and scratches. The little indent in the back for a metal plate for magnet mounts is awesome. It still keeps its slim profile without added both the extra bulk, as well as unsightly view of a metal plate if it were adhered to the outside of the case. The texture of the surface keeps it relatively grippy in my hands but slides in and out of my pockets very easily. Only issue is sometimes the corners (which are slightly open between the panels), sometimes pulls lint or strings out of my pockets haha. The back has anti slip rubber that is really good and the diamond texture is really sleek looking. Only bad thing is because the case is open in the front by the buttons its really easy to take the case off. My guess is that when dropped, the case will fly off. Purchased to replace disintegrating pads on a seven year old Koss KTXPRO1 and they fit well once I figured out how to pop the speakers out of the headset. But I was operating blindly with zero idea if I was doing it correctly or getting ready to break my favorite pair of headphones. I got it done but how hard would it be for them to print instructions on the back of the package? They are a bit thin, too- I was a tad bit disappointed in that. Next time I replace them I think Ill rig a second layer of something in there if I can come up with something that wont affect the sound too badly. All in all better than OK but not perfect. Fit great, but ONLY for KOSS portable headphones like Porta-Pro, the old discontinued Pro-25, etc. You need to pop-out the diaphragm modules, put the foamies on, then snap the diaphragms back in place on the old Pro-25 headphones (thats what pinches the outer edge of the foamie in place). Never had to replace Porta-Pro foamies yet, but i assume its the same situation. The opening in one of the disks flat surfaces, that you stretch over your headset earpiece, is round and 1 1/4 inches in diameter. The space within the cushion that fits the outer diameter of your headset earpiece appears to be 1 5/8 inches diameter. The old pads were crumbling. I didnt like the sound with the old pads anyway and I thought, what the heck, lets change it up a bit. Low and behold, these pads fit perfectly AND they make the hd414 sound soooo much better. Tighter bass, fuller sound, less harsh highs. The balance is great now. Really fun sounding. For reference, my regular cans are HE-400. However, I am not disappointed. This case is fantastic. Ive owned tons of cases, and I needed a sturdy, but not insanely bulky/heavy *cough cough* Otterbox *cough*. The case doesnt feel cheap, it feels nicely made, and its SLIM! It doesnt add that much weight/size to my atheistically pleasing shiny slim iPhone 5. This case doesnt let down. Its not silicone, (thank goodness) its a high strength plastic/rubber. I doesnt slide off the phone Easily. It grips the phone very nicely. The corners are reinforced with rubber bumpers, they can also be exchanged for different colors, which is a nice feature. (Each color case comes with different color bumpers. Mine came with orange, pink, white, and black). The case it comes in says it can withstand drops of up to 5ft. This is fine for an average user like me who doesnt need an industrial strength case for my iPhone 5. So if you are looking for a QUALITY made case with barely any bulk, buy this! The case is lightly textured, so it wont slip from your hand. The changeable corners give it the ability to personalize your case based on your mood, the corners are slightly thicker than the rest of the case, providing that protection in case it is dropped face down or something (I havent dropped mine, but I looks like it would never even come close to hitting my screen). Doesnt add bulk or much weight to the phone. Orange protective cases have been hard to find, this one is a keeper! Cons: The button on the top is a bit hard to press, but Im getting used to it. And the more I use it the easier it seems to get to push. I have noticed that it is peeling up my screen protector a bit in the corners. I think thats because the case is so snug fitting, but I had a cheap screen protector that was peeling before, so I cant really complain. Its not hard plastic, not soft gooey silicone but somewhere in between. More like a semi rigid high quality rubber/silicone not sure. What makes this case dynamic is its super slim construction and the bumper sections on the corners which have cushiony soft inserts. The corners themselves are slightly bubbled and are actually a void space meaning the edges of your phone do not touch the inside outer corners of this case...great design. I have dropped my iphone 5 a few times in the driveway without damaging the phone or the case. I have had this case on for a long time now and it has no signs of wear and has held its original form. So this should be considered an "extended use" review. Looking forward to the new iphone 6 to become available and Ballastics case for that, granted its of similar design. To compare, I started with the Otterbox Defender quality case but to bulky, then tried the Otterbox commuter, again quality case but hard slippery plastic and bulky. I also like the fact I can put my phone in my semi tight jean front pocket and hop in my car without feeling like a friggin brick is in there. I use it to hold my Win10 page file, the Google Chrome cache files, Internet Explorer temp files, and any other applications that require the use of "temp" files (Word, Excel, Pinnacle Studio, Google Earth, et al). However, the supplied Acronis cloning software - while appreciated, did not work properly when cloning my Samsung 850EVO 120GB SSD onto this M.2. My Windows 10 OS drive (previously mentioned) while cloned successfully, the lock screen kept flickering and did not respond to any commands. So I attempted to clone using EaseUS, which resulted in a BSOD when booting for the first time. Was finally able to successfully clone my drive using Paragon Migrate OS to SSD 4.0. A piece of software that I have had a license for over 3 years - it has never failed me. It is also wise to update your BIOS firmware before installing this hardware as ones motherboard may not recognize this as a drive until the PCIE to M.2 is recognized with newer firmware. This was my case on the ASROCK Z97 Pro4 M. As far as performance goes this is incredibly anecdotal but from the end of POST and all the BIOS stuff to a completely ready-to-go desktop takes about 2 seconds for Kubuntu 16.04 and 5 seconds for Windows 10, much much faster than my WD Black HDD. I went straight from an HDD to this SSD and the difference is incredible, not sure how much of an improvement it would be over a SATA SSD. The marked read/write speeds are much faster than any Ive seen on a SATA SSD but again, no personal experience, your mileage may very. All around great piece of kit for the money I paid. It took a bit of patience to get my motherboard to detect this unit and a whole lot more to install Windows 7 on it. With the latest FW update, the major issue was ironed out but the LED is now constantly on. And while I still have not installed Windows 10, I think I have accepted the shortcomings but its still bugging me. The main advantage of this unit is that the speeds are well above my Samsung Pro SSDs at 1000MB/s read and 700MB/s writes. And no more cabling.. However that was not why I purchased the unit, it was because I needed a drive and this was purchased at Amazon at a very competitive price. It has a hard rubberized plastic around corners allowing for a decent grip and making it somewhat easy to put the phone in and slip out without causing damage. It also has a hard plastic back with rubberized corners just slightly raised so you can set it down without worrying about the camera. The Note 4 fits perfectly snug inside and the power/volume buttons have no gap so feel nice and flush. I personally like the flaps to cover the usb/headphone port, they go in nice and snug and seem durable. There is easily enough open room to grab the s pen and also use the heart rate monitor on back. Overall it is a very nice case for the price. The only "con" is at least on mine, the bottom isnt perfectly flush just under the home button. But this has a slight advantage as it gives juuuust enough room to easily swipe your thumb at an angle over the fingerprint scanner. The unfortunate thing I find is that with time all clear cases start to become kind of dirty looking. This one became sort of grayish, which is not an entirely bad thing, considering I used it for 2 years. Ive had many smartphones and have gone through many cases, and I can honestly say that this is my favorite. I got the clear version for the Note 4. Its the perfect blend between a rubber/TPU case and a hard plastic case. The sides feel soft like rubber, and the back feels like soft plexiglass. Its nice to be able to see the entire phone through this crystal clear case. The rubber on the sides covering the volume and power buttons is firm, but very easy to press, and you can feel the clicks of the buttons. All the cut-outs for the ports are perfectly aligned. The edge at the bottom of the case below the home button does dip down slightly, but I dont mind. The back of the case is pretty much flush with the camera lens, but there are are tiny feet on the back of the case in the corners that lift the lens and back of the case off whatever surface you set it on. It does say "Ringke FUSION" on the bottom right edge, but on the clear version it is in slightly raised clear letters and looks very tactful. The included template for tracing your own insert to put between the phone and the case is an interesting concept. The bonus screen protector is good quality and covers the main part of the screen, but not the bezels on the side, which Ive heard are slightly curved on this phone and hard for screen protectors to stick to. This one seems to fit nicely and does not show any signs of halo effect (protector peeling away from the curved edges). I thought this might be a temporary case and screen protector until finding something more expensive, but now Im just going to keep this one permanently. Highly recommended! I have an otterbox also, but its just so big and bulky. This is slim and comfortable and just a really good case. I dropped my phone twice today (but only from about foot off the ground), onto concrete, and its still perfect. The only thing I dont like about the case is the port covers. Its not that theyre bad, but they could use to be a little tighter fit (specifically the charging cover). Its somewhat loose when pushed in. Nothing major though and I wouldnt even dock a star for it. The shield that the case comes with, is sub-par though. Its too narrow (doesnt really go to the edge of the visual screen, and is FAR from the edge of the phone). Also, mine doesnt have the loose defect near the port. Its all very flush and tight all around. What Ive learned, Ive ususally learned on my own or through YouTube. I have made MANY visits to the "Tube" to understand this game. I have been a RE fan since game 1. Ive watched the series grow, stumble, grow a little more, go completely away from the series, and finally upright itself. RE 2 Revelations is a great change of place since RE 5, 6, and Resident Evil Revelations. I mean, who can really be scared about fighting blobs of goo, moving rocks, and other throwaway monsters. I will list my pros and cons: Pros: The actual game play itself is relative easy. The creatures are way more scary (some actually look like ZOMBIES)! There are the invisible kind, which I had quite a bit of trouble with, mutations within mutations, and some kick-butt bosses. Since you have to play with BOTH members of your "team," you will need to learn to get a move-on. Creatures do not wait for you to combine your weapons, change your weapons, or even administer health. This game was indeed more survival horror instead of what weve seen since RE5. Cons: Please keep in mind these are MY cons. All you guys that I would consider PROS at this probably will get a good laugh and tell me to start watching TV again! Keep in mind that Im 62 and probably dont know HALF of what you guys know, so just bear with me. I do not like the way you change your weapons. RE Revelations was more simple and easier. I also dont believe Ill ever under the "mercenaries" game. I dont understand the concept of "destroying" your weapons. You also cannot interchange your acquired parts. All the characters come pre-equipped with weapons, so you never really can earn any kick-butt new ones (or can you?). All in all, though, this is the best RE in a long time. There was definitely no quick-time, which seemed to plagued previous releases. The co-op was a disappointment as Moira and Natalia were incapable of firing any type of gun (a huge let down) a crowbar and brick are pitiful replacements. Although Natalias contribution was interesting, it was incredibly limiting and boring at times; which is more than can be said for Moiras sad flashlight. On the plus side, I now find myself reading Franz Kafka as his work was often quoted and inspired chapter titles (potentially more). Overall, the game was fun and scary (at times)! I thought the plot was pretty good, though it seems to be, basically, a rehash of Code Veronica--nothing spectacular but sows the seeds to keep the series going. The campaign itself was a little frustrating with ammo being ridiculously scarce and constantly needing to creep around as your secondary character to find precious sparkles. Where this game easily shines, and shines brightly, is the Raid mode. Its fantastic and fun revisiting levels and enemies from Resident Evil 6, Revelations 1 and Revelations 2. Ever since Resident Evil 3 introduced "The Mercenaries" that mode has always been my favorite part of the game (including Resident Evil 6--the one part that didnt suck). Revelations 2 is well worth a purchase for any Resident Evil fan--even those disillusioned by 6. This is a very comfortable backpack with lots of storage pockets for all of your miscellaneous items. The shoulder straps are padded and relatively wide, so they fit comfortably on my shoulders. (They fit comfortably on my husbands shoulders, too.) There is a lot of space in this pack. I had no problem fitting all of my odds and ends in here, including my phone, my external hard drive, work papers, and, of course, my laptop. The laptop compartment is in the very back of the backpack and has a somewhat unique configuration, in that the shoulder straps are located IN FRONT of the laptop zipper pocket. In other words, the shoulder straps are connected to the backpack BETWEEN the laptop compartment and the rest of the backpack. (Look at the side profile pic in the product details above.) You might think the placement of the straps would be awkward or uncomfortable, but, in reality, it helps distribute the weight of the laptop more evenly. Its actually a very nice feature, in my opinion. I have two complaints, though. First, the print on this backpack is ugly as sin. Even my husband thought so, and he usually doesnt care about that stuff at all. Second, while there are a ton of little pockets in the front of the backpack, there really isnt any place to store a pen or two upright. The pockets are too large, so unless you hook a pen over the pocket, it will just slide right down and disappear. I like to use #2 pencils, so this is an annoyance for me. Still, overall, this is a really nice backpack for work. It has just the right amount of space and support while still being lightweight. I saw that there are other prints available, but even they are kind of ugly. Hopefully they will come out with more attractive designs. Before receiving this backpack I went to the Case Logic website and watched the video on it showing all the pockets and compartments. Theres even a "hidden" compartment in the front. There are a lot of zipper pockets and one that is well padded on both sides for your laptop. Theres a huge compartment in between the laptop pocket and the front pocket that would be large enough to pack clothes; it also has a large pocket in it. The front zipper compartment has pockets and a zippered mesh pocket also. There are two side mesh pockets that are actually wide enough and deep enough to carry my 24oz. water bottle, which is unusual. The straps are well padded and the sternum strap that adjusts across the front of your body can be tightened or loosened and even moved up or down (the strap unsnaps and there are five different slots where you can put it to make it the most comfortable on you.) I have never seen that previously on a backpack; I put the straps at the very top (they were in the middle slots). You could also remove the sternum strap completely by unsnapping both sides. Even though I dont care for the color/design on this backpack (it looks like something youd get at an army surplus store to me), it has a lot going for it. I see there are other designs and colors also. The pack is heavy duty and definitely feels like it is built to last. I was actually FLOORED by how incredibly thick, sturdy, and well-constructed this backpack is. It easily reflects its price (which I thought was a little expensive before I received it... and, now, I think it is entirely accurate). This is not the type that could easily be snagged and torn on the way to class/work. In fact, there is no way thats going to happen. And, if we are talking about longevity, I think you will tire of the bag LONG before it wears out. Moreover, the wide, padded straps make carrying even the heaviest bag much more comfortable and safe. The back of the bag is also a solid piece of foam that both makes the bag easier on ones back AND helps maintain the shape of the bag. The three separate compartments are perfect for preventing ones laptop from getting scratched and scraped by accessories. Just place each in separate compartments. (Which is a time-saver for someone like me... who has individual cloth bags for each peripheral). And, it needs to be said, the design here is pretty great. I remember a time when Case Logic was not exactly "fashion-forward"... but this bag is genuinely attractive and masculine. Fantastic improvement from those old utilitarian days! There is not one aspect of this bag that I would change! Perfection! I have already installed about 15 or so of these brackets, and have decided I like them better than the Sabrent dual SSD brackets. I have installed over 50 of the Sabrent brackets before I discovered these. These are easier to use for the most part. Also, these put the connectors in about the same location as a regular hard drive, so it fits more brackets (such as those blue plastic ones Dell uses). The ONLY thing that drives me nuts about these brackets is how they package the screws. It comes with 3 sets of 4 screws, each in their own little bag, which is TIGHTLY rolled up and then TAPED shut. It is really challenging to get the screws out without cutting yourself. I have written to Corsair to try to get them to change this, since I will probably be installing hundreds of these things. These brackets are good, but some of the edges are kinda sharp. Of course, if you work on computers a lot you realize there are a lot of sharp things inside a computer case. But for you novices out there, just be careful when you handle these. Bottom line: I prefer these over the Sabrents because of where they position the SSD connectors, and because it is easier to install a SSD in them. But then I realized Im the idiot and this bracket should not pay for my sins. If its helpful for any of you: I installed this in combination with a Samsung 850 EVO in a 21.5" 2011 iMac. As mentioned, it took me forever to figure it out before I finally realized it needed to be installed UPSIDE DOWN in order for everything to fit properly. They feature an all aluminum construction, making the adapter practically featherlight. I bought three of these recently to install in a MicroATX PC case I also recently purchased (Raijintek Styx). My case usually supports either one of two configurations: 1) 3x 3.5” HDDs + 2x 2.5” HDDs 2) 1x 3.5” HDDs + 4x 2.5” HDDs With three of these adapters, I can install EIGHT 2.5” HDDs... LOL! If you are not a case modder (and/or if you are afraid of breaking your stuff) just take my word for it— read no further. This is the adapter you want. If you ARE a case modder (and/or if you are not afraid of potentially breaking your stuff), then I have a pro tip for you: if you break the 2.5” HDD guide tabs off with a pair of pliers, it’s possible to install a 15mm tall 2.5” HDD (example: any 4TB 2.5” HDD currently on the market) IN ADDITION TO a standard height 2.5” HDD. If you succeed in breaking the tabs off cleanly, you will want to mount your 15mm tall drive in the bottom slot. While you’re aligning the drive with the screw holes, screw the screws in loosely, then gently push down on the drive and tighten the screws. Then, grab your standard height drive and align it with the screw holes on the top slot. Do the same as last time, except THIS time you will want to pull UP on the drive as you tighten the screws. If you did everything right, you will have a decent amount of space between the two drives and they should NOT be making any contact with each other. It may be possible to put TWO 15mm tall 2.5” drives in one adapter, but it may be too tall for in your 3.5” bay. However I have not tested this (...yet). Por Anon em 2 de novembro de 2016 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada Im an experienced computer builder and needed to mount an SSD in an older Thermaltake Armor MX Case. Pros: Very sturdy. Nicely finished. No sharp edges. Cool Corsair logo. Potential Cons: I really only have two: 1) The screws provided have a shallow cut Phillips screw head. None of the precision screwdrivers I own would unscrew these screws well. I had to use a pair of pliers to unscrew the screws from the drive after a screw fitting test. Very odd--never had this happen before--I have a comprehensive set of screwdrivers and none fit well. I ended up replacing them with standard SSD mounting screws, which had no problems. Tip: Its helpful to have a pair of long tweezers or a Kelly clamp handy if you want to mount an SSD in the lower slot to hold the screw steady when attaching the drive. 2) The mount does not fit exactly in the Thermaltake Armor MX screwless drive enclosures (which you need in order to fit the drives in the drive cage). I had to get a pair of tin snips to cut off about 2 to 3 mm off of the front corner of the mounting bracket to get the screw holes to line up. Im not blaming either Corsair nor Thermaltake for this--just noting it in case someone else wishes to use this mount with that particular case. In summary, great mounting bracket that will suit the vast majority of folks. Im only taking a half a star off for the odd screws. (It is possible that I got a bad set.) In any event, easily rectified and I would purchase this mount again. Came with all the screws as advertised. I didnt need to mount 2 SSDs but if I had, it might have been an issue to get all the cables to fit in such a tight area. I like that it has slots for the mounting screws that allow one to slide the SSD back and forth as/if needed... instead of just fixed screw holes. Helps accommodate cables. Shelley started writing the story when she was eighteen, and the novel was published when she was twenty. The first edition was published anonymously in London in 1818. Shelley's name appears on the second edition, published in France in 1823. Shelley had travelled through Europe in 1814, journeying along the river Rhine in Germany with a stop in Gernsheim which is just 17 km away from Frankenstein Castle, where, two centuries before, an alchemist was engaged in experiments. Later, she travelled in the region of Geneva (Switzerland)-where much of the story takes place-and the topic of galvanism and other similar occult ideas were themes of conversation among her companions, particularly her lover and future husband, Percy Shelley. Mary, Percy, Lord Byron, and John Polidori decided to have a competition to see who could write the best horror story. After thinking for days, Shelley dreamt about a scientist who created life and was horrified by what he had made; her dream later evolved into the novel's story. Shelley completed her writing in May 1817, and Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus was first published on 11 March 1818 by the small London publishing house of Lackington, Hughes, Harding, Mavor, & Jones. The second edition of Frankenstein was published on 11 August 1822 in two volumes (by G. and W. B. Whittaker) following the success of the stage play Presumption; or, the Fate of Frankenstein by Richard Brinsley Peake; this edition credited Mary Shelley as the author. On 31 October 1831, the first "popular" edition in one volume appeared, published by Henry Colburn & Richard Bentley. This edition was heavily revised by Mary Shelley, partially because of pressure to make the story more conservative, and included a new, longer preface by her, presenting a somewhat embellished version of the genesis of the story. This edition tends to be the one most widely read now, although editions containing the original 1818 text are still published. Many scholars prefer the 1818 text, arguing that it preserves the spirit of Shelley's original publication. The magnet strip where the cover and case meet isnt secured very well, and the cover metal pulled the magnet straight out of the case after about 4 months of normal use. The plastic holding the magnet then quickly snapped off where the magnet used to be, leaving me the choice between supergluing all of it back together, or finding a different case; I chose the latter (Inateck). Lastly, when it was intact, the cover did not do an adequate job of securing the "closed" position via the magnet. After closing my Paperwhite and going to sleep thinking it was securely off, I would sometimes wake to the Kindle believing that I had been "reading" the same page all night because it hadnt closed properly. This not only wastes the life of my backlight, but also throws my pages remaining count all out of whack and required manual fixing a few times. They took what could have been a bad review and converted it to a good one based on their willingness to be receptive and helpful! Ive had the case for 2-3 months now and the case looks pretty good still. It has a few faint stains, but since the case is a light color, that is kind of expected. The reason I gave the case only 3 stars, though, is because after a couple weeks, the magnets in the inside of the case started coming out when I opened the top. My husband ended up super gluing both of the magnets into their spots. The plastic on the outside, next to the magnets is weak so that ended up breaking while we were trying to fix the magnets, but we just glued that as well. So overall I give it three stars. The color and case is nice, but I would expect the magnets to stay put. At least until the case is a little bit older. Updated on 12/28: After publishing this review, the seller contacted me and offered to send a new case at no cost to me. It arrived quickly and looks like the magnets fit better than my old one. After I had it for only 3 days, the color started coming off and was getting black around the edges. I could not believe this! I promptly called Amazon and told them what happened. My money was cheerfully refunded. It really is a shame this happened since the case was a perfect fit for my reader. I dont know if this was a quality control problem or what but I was extremely disappointed. I ended up ordering another more expensive case from another vendor on Amazon. If you fold the cover up as a stand its not an issue, but if you just want to read and fold the cover back to hold behind the device, it just feels unnatural to me so I take the whole case off more than I keep it on the Kindle. Whit that said, i must state that i am very satisfied with this mouse. Previously I was usig a generic small laptop mouse, so i got accustomed to smaller mice. i was fearing that the adaptation to this new product would be long and "painfull", however, for being a full size mouse the taipan is quite ligth weight. It is also a very sober alternative to the more flashy products designed for gamers (which i dont like): you can deactivate the razer logo back-light and it becomes a very subtle detail barely seeable in the mouse, so you can go to your office or laboratory and pretend to be a serious person. Considering my small mouse background i use a claw like grip, which is perfect for this mouse. Currently I dont use the side buttons, but they are prerfectly accesible (more on the thumb side) so i will certainly try to get some usefull functions linked to then trough the synapse program. overall 10/10 will buy more razer products in the future. This mouse has helped me improve my gameplay, in comparison to using a traditional mouse. The additional buttons are great and easy to use with keybinds. The design is sleek and the logo looks cool. This is a very good gaming mouse if you are looking for something "simple" in terms of gaming mouses that gets that job done, looks nice, and works well. Granted theyve made some products that were better than others, but relative to the products Ive tried, I would give them 6 stars out of 5. The first mouse I got from them, a Copperhead, lasted until a couple months ago (almost 10 years of active gaming), and its only the left click button which isnt responding (so still fixable). This one in particular, the Taipan, is no different than Copperhead, as in its an awesome piece of hardware! Very comfortable to use, light, ergonomic, a smooth texture/feel, high pointer precision, I have nothing bad to say about it. I was thoroughly sick of using my laptop touchpad to play Runescape and navigate through webpages it gets very annoying after my wireless mouse decided to die. I kind of like the fact that this mouse is wired so I dont have to worry about charging batteries and the cord is as long as needed, I actually never took the twist tie off of the extra cord and have an ample amount. The cord is not your typical rubbery electronic cord like your phone charger, it is like woven with some sort of cotton like cover and its very flexible so you dont have to deal with it being kinked or making it awkward to push the mouse around. I really like this mouse and it is very responsive and seems to be very smooth. I really like the fact that the scroll wheel and the logo on the mouse glow, it makes it easy to see in the dark and it looks really cool. The side buttons by default are programmed to go back and forward on webpages which is pretty cool. Overall I think this is a great mouse and would recommend it to a friend. Prior to having this mouse, I just used a standard Logitech wireless laptop mouse. It was on its last legs after some abuse though, so after doing some research I settled upon the Razer Taipan as something I wanted to try out. Pros: -Beautiful looking mouse. I got the white color scheme one and it is definitely pretty to look at. Also matches my white/black PC tower. -Comfortable to hold, although it is definitely for smaller hands like other reviewers have said (the reason I bought it, Ive got some baby hands). The rubber grips on either side underneath the side buttons make a super good thumb rest. I use kind of a claw grip, but it seems like it would be okay palm as well. Havent noticed any hand fatigue so far, including game sessions of 8+ hours. -The tracking on the mouse seems to be relatively top notch from my experience. Granted, I did just move from a $20 dollar wireless mouse, so there was bound to be improvement. -The adjustable DPI is a pretty nice feature, although the maximum this mouse allows (8200) is laughably unnecessary. After a couple days of experimenting playing various games, I got mine honed in at 2000, where it has been ever since. -Ludicrous initial setup aside, Razer Synapse hasnt given me any problems yet! (EDIT: jk lolz) Cons: -I have had a few severe tracking issues. The reason though, it would seem, is because the sensor is incredibly, incredibly sensitive to any interference. The first couple days after owning it, I noticed occasionally the tracking would just kind of seize up and start doing circles instead of straight lines. As far as I can tell, each time it has been from tiny specks of hair or fuzz getting in the path of the sensor. This is with a brand new, spotless mouse pad too. It is definitely frustrating when it happens, since the rest of the time it tracks excellently. -The glossy plastics making up the mouse are fairly slick, including the main left/right buttons. I havent really noticed it that badly when gaming, but they definitely seem like they would get bad quick if youve got some sweaty hands. -Occasionally upon starting a game, it seems like the mouse gets stuck at a sensitivity double of what it should actually be set at. It basically makes any games unplayable until I restart my computer (simply restarting the game, restarting Razer Synapse, or unplugging the mouse hasnt had any success). I have no idea what the source of this problem is, but Im going to go ahead and blame Razer Synapse because I have absolutely no idea what else it could be. All in all, after researching for something lightweight, good for smaller hands, and possessing the right amount of secondary buttons, I feel like I made the right decision, and am definitely happy with my purchase.
