My X1 Carbon 5th gen laptop fits snuggly into the laptop pocket. The overall footprint of the backpack is not much larger than the laptop. Exact size I wanted, but many people might want something a bit bigger (and I think they make the EnRoute in 18L). I had been using a regular "school style" backpack, and it simply didnt look professional. I wanted something thatd fit in more professional environments. Not a fan of leather or pleather. I wanted the backpack to be very small, and to focus on essentials. Laptop, charger, headphones, travel umbrella, a few random odds and ends. I wanted to minimize wasted space, just something compact and durable. I expected a long hunt to find the perfect bag, but fortunately I stumbled upon the EnRoute, and it checked all the boxes. Ive only had the EnRoute a few days so cant comment on durability. However, it does feel very well constructed. Look wise, its a bit more sporty than professional and the black is darker than the gray you see in the picture. Regardless, it looks quite nice and is far more professional than my last backpack. Still not a briefcase, but I dont want a briefcase. All in all, I think its a great laptop backpack. Unless you are 100% certain that you want a very small bag, however, the EnRoute 18L might be a safer bet for most customers. I saw how easily it worked for him, and how accurately he could write or draw with it, and was excited to get one for myself. When the mini arrived, however, I was a little disappointed with its performance. It was not as responsive as it seemed with my friend. I had to jab into my iPad pretty hard to make it work. I was also VERY disappointed that the Jot Mini wasnt made of a metal that clings to the magnets in my cover. Go ahead and buy a replacement disc (they sell them on here) and a tube of Arctic Silver thermal conductive grease now to save yourself some aggravation and shipping. When the jot stops working in a week or a month, put a TINY bit of grease in the disc socket, and it will work again for a while. When a combination of cleaning and regressing wont work anymore, use a replacement disc and start the process over again. So why buy a Jot when it is an unreliable, frustrating thing? The original jot, the jot pro, the jot pro second generation, the jot touch, and the jot script…and now the jot mini. Except for the script, that just doesnt work consistently, the others all work very well as a precision stylus. There are still two things that absolutely aggravate me about Adonits products. First: Adonit needs to learn how to make screw-caps that stay put. Their screw caps—not one of them—locks down and stays put. They all get loose, come off, end up in a pocket, in the washing machine, on the floor, or just lost. This is serious because if you lose the cap, youll snag the tip-disc and flick it off and soon you have nothing. On the generally not-working Script, the lose cap causes the battery contact to be intermittent and if you lose it, your stylus is just dead. It has no useful unpowered mode. Second: Adonit needs to figure out pocket clips! Very few of their products come with any means of securing the stylus in your pocket. In the case of the Script, that means you can easily lose an $80 stylus which maybe isnt so bad since, in my experience, the Script didnt end up working anyway;-) Seriously, Adonit makes a cap with a pocket clip, and though the threads fit most of their regular sized styli, the barrels on those are wider than the cap which makes them tricky to screw on. And the Jot Mini… seriously… the clip has a very cool looking design, but the opening is too big to stay secure in most shirts, so it flops around, comes loose, ends up in the bottom of the pocket or lost. Adonit has done one thing very well (except for the Script): theyve made styli that are great to write, highlight and draw with, though the disc tip mechanism is potentially fragile, Sadly, that very finely executed feature is not very well protected since the caps dont stay on tight and the pocket clips are non-existent or too cool to work well. First, I need to mention I think the price for the pro is way too high. Ive always thought the precision of the Adonit stylus would be ideal for me. I like having a stylus to utilize as part of my workflow, but refused to pay what Adonit charges for the Jot Pro. Im glad they came out with the mini, which is basically a Jot Pro for all intents and purposes, but with a shorter body and a reasonable price. This makes me wonder how they come up with their prices, is a longer body worth twice the cost? Anyhow, this stylus was a nightmare. That little disc falls off with the slightest provocation. Then you have to find it. Good luck with that! It was literally like looking for a needle in a haystack. Just imagine trying to find a quarter inch piece of glass at night, in carpet, or in the cushions of a couch. It can be done, but with each painstaking sweep of your furniture, work space, clothes, books etc. your patience will be tested. Luckily, for the price of a whole new stylus you can buy yourself a pack of three of these wonderful discs. What they should have done was added threads to the disc and tip of the stylus so that the disc could be screwed onto the stylus more securely and not pop off because you breathed hard. Literally, I would have to hunt for the little glass needle in a haystack three or four times a day. Finally, before even a week of use,while I was in the middle of studying, the stylus quit. One second it was writing fine, the next it was not writing at all. I was not sad. I was relieved, because I could return it as defective and rid myself of the nuisance, which is what I did. In the main compartment, there is a slot for your laptop, a little spot in front of that which could be used for cords, and yet another mesh divider spot. I was able to fit 3 days of clothes, a bathing suit and cover-up, pair of sandals, jewelry, curling iron, and straightener in here. While it may look full in the picture, it was still squishable. This backpack is MUCH smaller, even when fully packed than the maximum size requirement for Spirit Airlines, here in the United States. I measured it before and after packing it, and even if I were to pack it 100% full, Id still be under their limit. It gets close in the longest measurement, the height, but really works great. I wish Amazon would add a way to indicate if a product exceeds expectation. This is a great camera for the price. I paid 69.00 Jan 5 of 2018. Ive been using the SJCAM SJ4000 for over 6 years as a dash cam. Works great. Inexpensive. I wont drive without a dashcam of some sort and these have been working perfectly. I use the clamp mount to my rear view mirror base so it wont fall. I dont trust the suction cups which have always eventually fallen for me. I use a 64gb card and get over 6 hours of record time, allows me to download files less frequently. I also use it on casual bicycle trips, although its a pretty shaky picture. I put one in my moms car because she was accused of rear-ending someone who had actually hit the car in front of them and tried to make it look like my mom caused it. Fortunately, she had no damage to the front of her car so it was clear she didnt cause the accident. BE CAREFUL BUYING these as there have been many fake/counterfeits. Ive tried some of them and they may be worth the lower price but they perform poorly. Buy from SJCAM directly and Im sure youll be safe. I have an Apple/Mac computer and use FCPX to edit videos. These files work/process well. The files are.MOV. Thats important for me because AVI files dont seem to work directly with my computer/software. Of course, they can be converted but that adds to the time to process. Ive owned GoPro in the past and they, of course, are a better camera but for what Im using it for I dont need the extra quality/cost. An important feature for me is the Timestamp. I think GoPro still does not have this as a built-in feature but I may be wrong. Also important to me is the wide angle lens. This is the widest of the less expensive action cameras. They boast 170 degrees, not sure if thats correct because if it was 180 degree Id be able to see things that are at 90 degrees of the camera and I cant. As it is I can almost see the windshield pillars so Im sure its close to 170 and if nothing else I can say its getting everything in front of me and at a 45-degree angle from that. The FOV (field of view) can be changed if you dont like the distortion. I wish it where designed so you could get to the card without having to unplug the power cord (I have it running on a 12v lighter outlet). I use it on 12v so it starts automatically when I start my car, I never really have to think about it, just look up once in awhile to make sure the power cord hasnt backed out from the lighter socket. Theres not much Id change about it, maybe some date options, Id like it to show the day of the week. The USB port has been the only weak spot. Ive had 2 fail on me because I regularly plug/unplug power to get to the SD card. Ive always bought a SquareTrade warranty and they have covered the repair. I suppose I should mention the battery cover also, sort of hard to remove because of the small size of the button holding it in but Ive been able to make it work. I have big fingers. I think it could be easily redesigned to be more user-friendly. I notice they have stopped supplying the open air case that has a tripod mount screw in it. Audio quality is clear, and it is the most comfortable headset that Ive ever owned. The ear cups do a good job of canceling noise out as well. The microphone works great also, however a plastic piece broke off of it, leaving an exposed wire and a shaky, unstable mic. Take a look at the attached picture if you want to see exactly what Im talking about. I have contacted Kingston customer service asking them to replace the mic since this headset comes with a 2 year warranty and am currently waiting to hear back from them. I will update my review, and depending on how they handle this issue change my rating to either 1 or 5 stars. Update: Kingston replaced the mic for free under warranty. They sent it with 2 day shipping and didnt even require me to send the broken part back. For me as a live streamer on Twitch.tv I need two things for long gaming sessions headset wise: Comfort and Quality. These are by far the most comfortable headset I have ever worn. The design is sleek and it is WELL made. Most headsets nowadays come with leatherette ear cups and I CANT STAND IT. So I was happy to see the HyperX Cloud had replaceable Velour Ear Cushions. (the cloth ones) That was a huge plus for me. The soft leather band on the headset makes your skull feel like you are in HEAVEN. Too many headset makers dont care much for the pressure a headset puts on your noggin. HyperX does. I have had these 2 months prior to the recent release and not one sign of wear, and trust me I have a HUGE head. Now for sound. 53MM Drivers. This is better then most out there. And it is obvious in the sound. I play World of Warcraft and other MMOs, and let me tell you the sounds I can now hear that I couldnt before. The sound is so much clearer you wonder how the hell you tolerated your previous headset. The Aluminum build gives the Cloud a great shape and shows that HyperX cares about the longevity of their products. If you want comfort and quality sound this is your headset. And at $99? Yeah its worth it. I wanted to have the stereo version since my creative fatal1ty is now 2 yrs old. Just felt like having an update. Using the 3.5mm jacks for headphones and microphone i was able to utilize my onboard asus sound card with crystal sound 2.0 same as the creative, but sure its stereo - however when configured right you can pinpoint location pretty well. The HyperX Cloud is just as comfy as the Cloud II. Great build quality i feel with them. Love the white and black color - its looks clean and crisp and now also matches my new rig which is an artic white corsair 760t. Sound - it is a step up to the creative - good lows, mids n highs and good base. in games it is not too boomy or bassy but has just the right amount for the explosions in a game like battlefield 4 - but does not hinder you from pinpointing sound. I love it so far - just wore it for 8+ hrs straight gaming and didnt have a problem. If Kingston reads this review - please see the review i put in for the HyperX Cloud II and why i gave it a 2 stars. all the info is there. I have already installed about 15 or so of these brackets, and have decided I like them better than the Sabrent dual SSD brackets. I have installed over 50 of the Sabrent brackets before I discovered these. These are easier to use for the most part. Also, these put the connectors in about the same location as a regular hard drive, so it fits more brackets (such as those blue plastic ones Dell uses). The ONLY thing that drives me nuts about these brackets is how they package the screws. It comes with 3 sets of 4 screws, each in their own little bag, which is TIGHTLY rolled up and then TAPED shut. It is really challenging to get the screws out without cutting yourself. I have written to Corsair to try to get them to change this, since I will probably be installing hundreds of these things. These brackets are good, but some of the edges are kinda sharp. Of course, if you work on computers a lot you realize there are a lot of sharp things inside a computer case. But for you novices out there, just be careful when you handle these. Bottom line: I prefer these over the Sabrents because of where they position the SSD connectors, and because it is easier to install a SSD in them. They feature an all aluminum construction, making the adapter practically featherlight. I bought three of these recently to install in a MicroATX PC case I also recently purchased (Raijintek Styx). My case usually supports either one of two configurations: 1) 3x 3.5” HDDs + 2x 2.5” HDDs 2) 1x 3.5” HDDs + 4x 2.5” HDDs With three of these adapters, I can install EIGHT 2.5” HDDs... LOL! If you are not a case modder (and/or if you are afraid of breaking your stuff) just take my word for it— read no further. This is the adapter you want. If you ARE a case modder (and/or if you are not afraid of potentially breaking your stuff), then I have a pro tip for you: if you break the 2.5” HDD guide tabs off with a pair of pliers, it’s possible to install a 15mm tall 2.5” HDD (example: any 4TB 2.5” HDD currently on the market) IN ADDITION TO a standard height 2.5” HDD. If you succeed in breaking the tabs off cleanly, you will want to mount your 15mm tall drive in the bottom slot. While you’re aligning the drive with the screw holes, screw the screws in loosely, then gently push down on the drive and tighten the screws. Then, grab your standard height drive and align it with the screw holes on the top slot. Do the same as last time, except THIS time you will want to pull UP on the drive as you tighten the screws. If you did everything right, you will have a decent amount of space between the two drives and they should NOT be making any contact with each other. It may be possible to put TWO 15mm tall 2.5” drives in one adapter, but it may be too tall for in your 3.5” bay. However I have not tested this (...yet). Nicely finished. No sharp edges. Cool Corsair logo. Potential Cons: I really only have two: 1) The screws provided have a shallow cut Phillips screw head. None of the precision screwdrivers I own would unscrew these screws well. I had to use a pair of pliers to unscrew the screws from the drive after a screw fitting test. Very odd--never had this happen before--I have a comprehensive set of screwdrivers and none fit well. I ended up replacing them with standard SSD mounting screws, which had no problems. Tip: Its helpful to have a pair of long tweezers or a Kelly clamp handy if you want to mount an SSD in the lower slot to hold the screw steady when attaching the drive. 2) The mount does not fit exactly in the Thermaltake Armor MX screwless drive enclosures (which you need in order to fit the drives in the drive cage). I had to get a pair of tin snips to cut off about 2 to 3 mm off of the front corner of the mounting bracket to get the screw holes to line up. Im not blaming either Corsair nor Thermaltake for this--just noting it in case someone else wishes to use this mount with that particular case. In summary, great mounting bracket that will suit the vast majority of folks. Im only taking a half a star off for the odd screws. (It is possible that I got a bad set.) In any event, easily rectified and I would purchase this mount again. Audio quality is clear, and it is the most comfortable headset that Ive ever owned. The ear cups do a good job of canceling noise out as well. The microphone works great also, however a plastic piece broke off of it, leaving an exposed wire and a shaky, unstable mic. Take a look at the attached picture if you want to see exactly what Im talking about. I have contacted Kingston customer service asking them to replace the mic since this headset comes with a 2 year warranty and am currently waiting to hear back from them. I will update my review, and depending on how they handle this issue change my rating to either 1 or 5 stars. Update: Kingston replaced the mic for free under warranty. They sent it with 2 day shipping and didnt even require me to send the broken part back. For me as a live streamer on Twitch.tv I need two things for long gaming sessions headset wise: Comfort and Quality. These are by far the most comfortable headset I have ever worn. The design is sleek and it is WELL made. Most headsets nowadays come with leatherette ear cups and I CANT STAND IT. So I was happy to see the HyperX Cloud had replaceable Velour Ear Cushions. (the cloth ones) That was a huge plus for me. The soft leather band on the headset makes your skull feel like you are in HEAVEN. Too many headset makers dont care much for the pressure a headset puts on your noggin. HyperX does. I have had these 2 months prior to the recent release and not one sign of wear, and trust me I have a HUGE head. Now for sound. 53MM Drivers. This is better then most out there. And it is obvious in the sound. I play World of Warcraft and other MMOs, and let me tell you the sounds I can now hear that I couldnt before. The sound is so much clearer you wonder how the hell you tolerated your previous headset. The Aluminum build gives the Cloud a great shape and shows that HyperX cares about the longevity of their products. If you want comfort and quality sound this is your headset. And at $99? Yeah its worth it. I wanted to have the stereo version since my creative fatal1ty is now 2 yrs old. Just felt like having an update. Using the 3.5mm jacks for headphones and microphone i was able to utilize my onboard asus sound card with crystal sound 2.0 same as the creative, but sure its stereo - however when configured right you can pinpoint location pretty well. The HyperX Cloud is just as comfy as the Cloud II. Great build quality i feel with them. Love the white and black color - its looks clean and crisp and now also matches my new rig which is an artic white corsair 760t. Sound - it is a step up to the creative - good lows, mids n highs and good base. in games it is not too boomy or bassy but has just the right amount for the explosions in a game like battlefield 4 - but does not hinder you from pinpointing sound. I love it so far - just wore it for 8+ hrs straight gaming and didnt have a problem. If Kingston reads this review - please see the review i put in for the HyperX Cloud II and why i gave it a 2 stars. all the info is there. If you can make a Kingston HyperX Cloud III based on the constructive criticism i have for the Cloud II and have it to where you have the best of both worlds of the Original and the II esp in white or pink, i will definitely buy those when they drop. The game looks fantastic, controls are spot on, and there is variety in vehicle selection to keep things lively. Having been a huge fan of Dirt 2, I was pretty excited to get my hands on a copy of Dirt 3. Their claim that they are returning to their rally roots only heightened this excitement. I was confused by the game cover, but I also realize they need to turn a profit and get as many people to buy their game as possible, so in my mind they were just trying to reach out to people who do not find WRC style-racing their cup of tea. In my mind, a rally oriented game should have you spending most of your time pretty much raising against the clock and occasionally seeing other racers on the track. I didnt care much for the X-games feel of Dirt2, but Dirt 3 doesnt feel all that different to me. A lot of time and effort was put into the Gymkhana events and X-Game events are still there. There are six main race modes: rally- point to point racing where you have a co-driver helping you navigate to the finish line. trailblazer- point to point racing where no co-driver assists you and faster vehicles are available. head2head- You are on a track and you race another driver (with no contact possible). Landrush- You race around a track in either trucks or buggies (full contact). RallyCross- You race around a track in cars (full contact). Gymkhana- You perform "tricks" to gain points to beat the competition. To me, only the first two count as rally but a fair amount of time is given to each racing mode. Head2head, Landrush, and rallycross offer a nice variety to the mix and keep things fresh. And Gymkhana....well Im not sure how that fits in there. Many people are thrilled to have it, but I saw it as a nuisance. You perform the same tricks over and over and over again. Basically you need to master drifting and driving around in a circle without falling asleep (think NASCAR, but a MUCH tighter circle). But my biggest gripe about the game have to do with DLC. At the time of this review the game has been out for less than a month and content was just released that you need to pay for. This is no secret, one glance at the trophy list reveals that at this point there will be additional content to come. This does not bother me. What DOES bother me as that when you play the game you are constantly reminded that you do not have access to all the vehicles. I will need to go the PSN store to download what ends up being five cars for six dollars. This has left me with the impression that I do not have a complete game. I bought the game at full price, but I did not get the full product. I understand having additional content, as well as the VIP Pass, but do I need to be reminded of it every single time I want to race? This has left me with a sour taste in my mouth for this game. I am sure many people have no problems with this, but consider what your garage will look like when all DLC content is out (and especially if you ended up buying the game used and do not want to buy the VIP Pass). As of now I have no plans of buying the DLC. I hate to be a Negative Nancy, but I have seen only positive reviews, and the 1-star reviews for this game on Amazon are pretty much non-reviews. I just feel like a few things should be highlighted to give a broader picture of what the game has in store for those who buy it. For many, these issues will not apply. Dirt 3 (despite all of this complaining) is still a great game, and in terms of off-road racing I have not played anything that compares to it with the exception of Dirt 2. Now it has offline two player races and can have a single race without entering career mode!!!!!!!, the Gymkhana parks are very fun to play, you can spend lots of hours just trying to do the stunts asked in just one park, and I think there are like 3. If you like cars and racing, this IS THE GAME!. When GT5 came out I was going to buy it, but it was a big deception, you cant even get out of track cause youll hit an invisible shield (what a shame) and dirt look very bad, it disappears when you go through it. On the other hand in this game I have found no flaws. You can even upload your replays to youtube, which may take some time but it worth it. You get Rally, Rally Cross, Land Rush, Trail Blazing, Gymkhana, Baja. On asphalt, dirt and snow. Pros: Great Graphics, single race, offline multiplayer (2), physics, dirt looks, snow tracks, flash backs, you can choose between old or new cars even 60s (60s,70s,80s,90s) on some kind of races. Cons: Not so real when landing a jump(this may not seem as a con for everybody), some times the game crashes when using flash backs continuously (just like 2 times) and some times you really need to use the flashback. Dirt3 is a very fundamentally sound racer/rally game. You begin the career mode with some simple rallies and rally-cross events. As you progress the events progress in some degree of difficulty. Beginning rally stages are short with few tricky turns and gradually the difficulty of the rally stages gets harder. Some of the later hill climb events can be challenging with the extremely quick dedicated hill climb vehicles. The rally-cross events are a lot of fun as you go fender to fender with other rally-Xers. The buggy rally-cross events were especially challenging for me. Each of the vehicle and especially vehicle classes are distinct with different types of vehicles handling differently. Later Gymkhana events are introduced as is drifting. The Gymkhana events are a great change of pace from the other more traditional "rally" fare and are fun. Doing doughnuts around pylons and taking out targets in a 4 wheel drift is very satisfying and challenging. The Gymkhana events are not easy. Overall, this is a great racing/rally game and I would highly recommend it.
