Hello, My name is Sofia, I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Lisbon in Portugal and have been living in the very different but equally interesting city of São Paulo for some years. I´m bilingual as I studied in a British International School and hold the Cambridge Proficiency in English Certificate (CPE), which qualifies me to teach English. I also hold a B.A degree in Law. I´ve taught students of different age groups and levels and I have particular expertise in Business English as I also work as a consultant for foreign companies coming over to Brazil. I cover several business topics from the brazilian and international markets as this is what I do full-time! I´m also very aware and love to talk about more culture and art-related subjects. At any level I try to make my classes as tailor-made as possible, always with a more practical approach, with a lot of conversation and focusing on topics that are especially interesting to the student. Besides English, I can also teach expat Brazilian-Portuguese. With expats, I have had successful teaching outcomes with a more intensive and dynamic approach where I take classes to different day-to-day environments (coffee shops, restaurants, book stores, museums, parks, etc.) for a more practical learning experience! This allows for a better practice of the grammar, pronunciation and the vocabulary of everyday life situations. And I can give you tips and a lot of background on São Paulo´s history, culture and even social codes! I am able to put a macbook air 13.3 inch in a sleeve, a half full one and one half inch three ring binder, a book about one and a half inches thick, and two one subject notebooks with no problem at all. The materials of the backpack arent that high of a quality but it has held up so far with everyday use. The front vertical slit-like pocket is much larger than expected. Yes, it is skinny, but I was able to fit 2 softcover reading books in there! The next front pocket has many spots for pens and such. This is where I kept my crossbody purse while boarding the plane, and I was also able to fit my quart sized baggie of liquids in here for easy access. In the main compartment, there is a slot for your laptop, a little spot in front of that which could be used for cords, and yet another mesh divider spot. I was able to fit 3 days of clothes, a bathing suit and cover-up, pair of sandals, jewelry, curling iron, and straightener in here. While it may look full in the picture, it was still squishable. This backpack is MUCH smaller, even when fully packed than the maximum size requirement for Spirit Airlines, here in the United States. I measured it before and after packing it, and even if I were to pack it 100% full, Id still be under their limit. It gets close in the longest measurement, the height, but really works great. I used this product for only 1 trip so far, but will be sure to use it as my free "purse" again soon! MY ONLY COMPLAINT, and this is a personal preference, is that its pretty stiff. My X1 Carbon 5th gen laptop fits snuggly into the laptop pocket. The overall footprint of the backpack is not much larger than the laptop. Exact size I wanted, but many people might want something a bit bigger (and I think they make the EnRoute in 18L). I had been using a regular "school style" backpack, and it simply didnt look professional. I wanted something thatd fit in more professional environments. Not a fan of leather or pleather. I wanted the backpack to be very small, and to focus on essentials. Laptop, charger, headphones, travel umbrella, a few random odds and ends. I wanted to minimize wasted space, just something compact and durable. I expected a long hunt to find the perfect bag, but fortunately I stumbled upon the EnRoute, and it checked all the boxes. Ive only had the EnRoute a few days so cant comment on durability. However, it does feel very well constructed. Look wise, its a bit more sporty than professional and the black is darker than the gray you see in the picture. Regardless, it looks quite nice and is far more professional than my last backpack. Still not a briefcase, but I dont want a briefcase. All in all, I think its a great laptop backpack. Unless you are 100% certain that you want a very small bag, however, the EnRoute 18L might be a safer bet for most customers. Just a heads up all bonuses are automatically given to you once your game is installed and running. After I connected and created my player I saw my VC count at 100k and once I played a bit through the my team intros I got the Shaq and kyrie rewards, but on to the game. If you are looking for the best looking and playing basketball experience this where the game is great. The gameplay is smooth and unlike other years fairly “cheese” free(BS). Players truly reflect their stats and finally badges reflect who they are. Players with high defense iq will handle switches on picks better or react better to cuts. Shooters like Redick who can pull up off the dribble will do that no problem where a player like Lebron can shoot but mostly when his feet are set. The gameplay is great. The biggest gripe I have is if you want to enjoy myplayer or my team fully you’ll have to consider investing in some VC or grind for hours. Everything from a simple haircut requires vc. My team no longer allows you to buy league boxes with mt just VC and overall the prices have gone up a bit. The grind is tough. The reason why I gave it a 4-star rating and not a 5-star, is because the button on the sides are a little hard to press. Other than that, its perfect. Tough, but fun as can be. Too bad about the install issues I listed in the original review. This woulda been a 4 or 5 star rating for the campaign play. Original review: I needed to get this review up right away to hopefully save others great frustration. Before you put the disc in your PS3 for the first time, disconnect from the Internet and DO NOT do the update. Only after the game has been installed should you attempt any updates. If you attempt to do the update right from the start along with the initial instal (as the pop up screen will ask you to do upon initial start-up) you may run into some very severe issues. I did as have many others. Google it. It can cause the game to not play and freeze on a black screen and then take several hours to delete the bad patch. So, just remember to disconnect from the web first. Then install the game. Then reconnect to the web and do any updates. You will be glad you did. If you did not have this problem, good for you. I did and so did many others. Like I said, google it. I have been playing the game for a couple of hours now. About half as much time as it took to deal with the install issues. Game seems fine. I dont imagine it sucking. However, it can never get better than 3 stars from me given the terrible software issue upon install. It was just rediculous. Note too that if you already did the update that causes the freezing and are trying to delete it, it can take over 2 hours to delete. I used to be really into the Xbox 360 and got in PS3 pretty late so I missed a lot of PS3 games when they first came out. After recently playing resistance 3 let me just say WOW! Where to begin? Ill split it into three sections. Here we go. Story: Even though you dont have to play the first two resistance games to know whats going on is recommend it. The story I thought was pretty good. I liked the characters and there were some parts where the story had me like aw why did that happen? Haha it had me really into it. Its fairly long too. I like to take some breaks when playin a game. I think it took me three days to finish up the single player story. Overall I thought it was good. Graphics: The graphics are pretty damn good in resistance 3. Id say its probably one of the best looking games on the PS3. Right next to uncharted games and kill zone 2 and 3. Gameplay: Gameplay is great. I do enjoy first person shooters. Resistance 3 has you in some pretty good gun fights. There are moments when youll be fighting alone. Others times youll be up against giant monsters in boss fights. You can also upgrade weapons you use in the game which is pretty cool. Verdict: Resistance 3 is a damn good game. I honestly regret not play this one back in the day. If you own a PS3 and havent played resistance 3 then shoot get out there and grab a copy. Its a lot of fun. Also if youre like me and have become spoiled with your character being able to regenerate from injuries without the aid of a health pack then expect some annoyance as this game is like that. You dont have the luxury of a self regenerating character and while it takes some massive damage to finish your character off unless you can find some health packs on every corner you have to be careful. Still the game is incredible and if you already have the first or second game then this is a definite must to add to your PS3 game library. The guns get some sort of upgrade after using them a lot. I cant go full in the games story details but its pretty great. Capelli has to trek cross-country to New York in order to destroy a gigantic terraforming machine before it drops the temperature so low that the planet can no longer sustain human life. His journey takes you to a number of great locals, the variety of which is one of the best aspects of the game. You start in a rundown, bleak dust bowl of a village with few survivors. Soon youre fighting off hordes of enemies while traveling on a tug boat down a creepy, mist-covered river. Later youre trying to survive being captured by a bunch of crazed escaped inmates in a decrepit prison. Theres even a thrilling train sequence that reminded me of "Uncharted 2," and a nightmarish town that reminded me of Ravenholm from "Half-Life 2." The cool weapons are the other key to "R3s" success; all of them level up through use and can be accessed via the weapon wheel as in "R:FoM," replacing only holding 2 at a time as in "R2." One new weapon lets you freeze enemies solid and then shatter them into pieces. Another makes green bubbly spores develop and then explode. There was online competitive and co-op multiplayer, but the servers were shut off in April of 2014. Comparison Vid: [...] I was sick and tired of the Razer knock off clicky switches. It was nice for a couple months, but now it is quite irritating and unsatisfying to type on. Therefore I decided to get the Corsair Strafe RGB with MX Brown switches. DESIGN: Personally I like this design better than the Blackwidow. The Blackwidow seems to have a matte fingerprint/oil attracted finish to it. This keyboard however has a clean sleek design that trumps that Blackwidow. The finish on this keyboard seems to be fingerprint resistant and doesnt seem to stain as easy as the Blackwidow. ALSO IT COMES WITH THE OG CORSAIR SAILS LOGO (THANK YOU CORSAIR) not the new "Corsair Gaming" logo that everybody hated. KEYS: I have never owned a Cherry MX Keyboard until now and IT IS AMAZING TO TYPE ON. This keyboard has the option of MX Browns, Reds, or Corsairs "Silent Switches." I decided to get Browns because its halfway between a Red(Silent) and Blue (Clicky) switch, basically the best of both worlds. Browns are not as loud as blues, theyre nearly the same as Reds actually. Its just that Brown switches have a more tactile feedback feel when you type on them compared to Reds. The keycaps themselves on the other hand are similar in feel and look to the Razer keycaps. BUT Corsair includes a set of FPS and MOBA keycaps ALONG WITH a keycap puller so you can customize it to your needs. Props to Corsair for that. LEDS: The casing for the keycaps are clear so you get the maximum shine of color from the switches. Every switch has their own RGB LED that is customize able to what game youre gonna play. There are also two white LED strips on the side of the keyboard to add a nice clean finish to the keyboard. I have attached pictures to clarify. And there are 3 brightness settings for you to choose from. OTHER: Like I said before, Corsair throws in some extra accessories to sweeten the deal: -MOBA/FPS Keycaps -Keycap puller -Detachable wrist rest (which is quite comfortable to use actually) Now to the reason why Im giving this 4 stars... SOFTWARE: Im just gonna say it, the Razer Synapse software for the Chroma is much better than Corsairs CUE software. It took me about 30 minutes to an hour to figure out how to set a certain keycap a certain color. They do have instructions on their website, but its not clear enough for all the features. When I got my Razer Blackwidow Chroma, it was simple (INSANELY SIMPLE) to customize the LEDS to your specific needs. However for Corsair, it seems like theyre getting there but ever so slowly. For example you need to go to 3 or 4 different pages on Corsair software to set all the keys white and WASD a different color. It was just a very frustrating experience for me using the CUE software. Hopefully in the future it will be on the same level as Razers Synapse. OVERALL PROS: -Cherry MX Browns -Design -Price (Cheaper than Blackwidow Chroma) -Accessories (Keycaps/wrist rest) -USB Passthrough CONS: -CUE Software - No headphone/mic passthrough In the end, I recommend this keyboard to anyone who is looking for an upgrade or their first mechanical keyboard. The price of $149 is very much worth it considering all the extra accessories that come along with it. As for the software, give it some more time and Im sure major improvements will be made. Those felt amazing, so I thought. After around 10 minutes of typing and playing Battlefield 1, I realized these switches feel cheap and are not good for me. I did a bunch more research and decided I must have a keyboard with RGB lighting. Of all the keyboards that I saw through videos on YouTube, the Strafe was the most impressive. I tried to find a Strafe RGB with blue switches to mimic the Razer greens, but I could only find a refurbished one at Newegg for $150. Turns out there were issues with them and theyre no longer being made. I decided to go with the Reds because thats what many gamers I know use. I have been using this keyboard for 11 days now and I am very satisfied with it. The software is easy to use and allows for customization, the keys feel great when typing and when playing (FPS games that is), it looks really pretty, and it even has a USB port. But to use that you will need to plug in the second USB that is attached to the keyboards main cable. All in all, everything about this keyboard is absolutely wonderful. In case you didnt know, there are a few people that that frequent r/RGB Profiles on Reddit and the Corsair forums that create custom RGB lighting schemes that you can use with Corsair peripherals. Everyone can make custom profiles, but it is tough and is much easier to download profiles. I also own a Corsair M65 Pro and I found a guy through the Corsair RGB forums that lets you download free lighting schemes for all devices- so theyre in sync. He even has really great videos demonstrating the lights. He goes by "Schwitz". I am very satisfied with this keyboard. I attached a video of some of my favorite profiles. We have Windows 10 and it was a little weird to install. I used our old keyboard to download the software and had to restart at least once and just wait for the keyboard to start registering keystrokes, but it somehow snapped to it. I have another device with Cherry MX Brown keys and its such a pleasure to use for writing. The Blue are even clackier and old school, with very clear, distinct keying. The USB pass through is really nice as well. If you wait for it to be on sale like $100 dollars for the RGB, then its a really good deal. There are some cons though: the cable is very thick and there is no cable management which might be a problem for some. The software is hard to use and only for windows no linus or mac software compatibility(there is a unofficial software called ckb for mac, and it works great). The pros: keys are nice and fast, I have the browns which have the really nice tactile feedback. The RGB is bright and can show really fun patterns and designs. The build great and solid even without the glossy metal like on the K70. One important thing to note is that on my personal keyboard one of the keys light went off and stayed off on the first day I got it. I tried unplugging and re plugging and restarting the software but no luck, the key still works but the light doesnt. It bugs me but is no problem cuz the key still works. Overall this is the best keyboard for the price and the pros overweight the cons.
