These headphones are of higher quality to be sure. The cords are heavier(thicker), the headphones fit better(so I’m told) and they fold flat when not in use. As far as sound quality goes, they produce sound so... good enough. I feel like these are better in every way than a cheap counterpart which doesn’t say much but I digress. I am able to put a macbook air 13.3 inch in a sleeve, a half full one and one half inch three ring binder, a book about one and a half inches thick, and two one subject notebooks with no problem at all. The front vertical slit-like pocket is much larger than expected. Yes, it is skinny, but I was able to fit 2 softcover reading books in there! The next front pocket has many spots for pens and such. This is where I kept my crossbody purse while boarding the plane, and I was also able to fit my quart sized baggie of liquids in here for easy access. In the main compartment, there is a slot for your laptop, a little spot in front of that which could be used for cords, and yet another mesh divider spot. I was able to fit 3 days of clothes, a bathing suit and cover-up, pair of sandals, jewelry, curling iron, and straightener in here. While it may look full in the picture, it was still squishable. This backpack is MUCH smaller, even when fully packed than the maximum size requirement for Spirit Airlines, here in the United States. I measured it before and after packing it, and even if I were to pack it 100% full, Id still be under their limit. It gets close in the longest measurement, the height, but really works great. I used this product for only 1 trip so far, but will be sure to use it as my free "purse" again soon! MY ONLY COMPLAINT, and this is a personal preference, is that its pretty stiff. The "Japanese Ball Bearings and Lubricant" is a huge selling point, these fans should be extremely durable compared to any kind of sleeve/journal/"liquid" bearing fan. Despite other manufacturers marketing material about their sleeve or "fluid" bearing technology, it is a cost saving measure compared to using quality brand name ball bearings. It made a fairly loud buzzing/whistling sound, so I contacted Arctic support. After verifying my purchase they immediately sent out a replacement -- kudos to Arctic support for that. Replaced it with the Ringke Wave, same slim profile but much higher quality construction. One major flaw that caused me to return the Spigen Neo Hybrid, the thin hard plastic parts where the button cut outs are on either side bows out and ends up getting caught on things. I am sure these gaps will fill in with debris and make things worse over time. This was the first day of use. No amount of reattaching and pressing it in place helps. Sold my perfectly protected iPhone for top dollar just last week. That case did its job. Not a scratch did my old phone suffer. Ive had this case for my Note 8 for a week now, and I love it too. It creates a bumper for the screen to protect it from a direct face plant, but Im going to add to it a screen protector like I did with my iPhone. I have had Spigen cases for many years now and will never buy anything but. When I recently purchase my Galaxy Note 8, I knew right away I needed a Spigen case. It does a decent job of protecting the phone while maintaining a very slim profile. Sound quality is clear and there is a bit of bass with playback. Depending on the app you use for music playing these will auto connect and turn on with your music which is a plus for me. All apps do not support this feature. My only con is that the battery life is only three hours. No more, no less. I have owned these for over a year and they have not gotten a short in any of the buds. I use these everyday. THESE WILL NOT CONNECT WELL WITH IPHONES. The little door that protects the charge port did break off but it hasnt disrupted charging. I did change out the smallest ear bud caps with smaller ones so they dont fall out while using. The buds come with a set of three to choose from but even the smallest was not small enough. I just went a bought a cheap pair of wired buds to get replacement caps which work fine. I carry them in a contact lens container when not in use so I dont mar the wire up. My brother-in-law had purchased these from Amazon and gave me a pair. I LOVED them so much I had to buy a pair for my husband (for when he is driving home and cant talk on his phone). When Im at home trying to get laundry folded or clean the kitchen, I can listen to audio books, pod cast or music without having to annoy everyone else in the house. They also do a great job of blocking out sounds around the house (like if your kids are watching t.v., for example) so you can hear your music or audio book. For me, the best thing about these headphones is when I get a phone call from friends and family who love to talk on the phone. I put these blue-tooth ear buds on, freeing up both hands, and can accomplish chores (even back yard gardening) while having a conversation! It makes the time and tedious tasks go by much faster and with more enjoyment. The sound is good, the range works well enough for my needs, they feel comfortable and the price is right. I cant recall how long Ive had them, been over a year so for the price, Im not complaining. The only thing that kind of annoyed me is the one side is heavier due to the control pod so it always slides and pulls to the side. They give you a collar clip that should stop that but it doesnt grip the cord well enough to work. I ended up wrapping some tape around the cord until the clip fit nice and snug and never had an issue after that. True, she needs to have her mouth washed out with Tide, but that is part of her quasi-innocent charm. I found the story in NGNLP a bit uneven, but it is the first volume, so I give that a pass for now. There is a little fan service here, so stay away if that kind of thing bothers you. As he mentions in the afterword, Kamiya wanted to write a story where he didnt have to wrack his brain inventing clever solutions to the characters dilemmas, making this story even fluffier (the very word) than the original NGNL. Others from Logitech do this but the buttons are on the bottom. The Logitech "Flow" software isnt quite there yet, especially cross-platform. I bought this to replace the MX Master 2S. I wish it was a little bigger like the 2S but its adequate. I do like the volume buttons (programmable) on the side better than the roller buttons on the 2S. The rollers on the 2S are difficult to fine-tune. I was always going too high or low. The 720 does a nice job overall. Thumbs up. First, the shape is causing me pain, which isnt the case with its bigger brother, the MX Master. Im not sure if its because its shorter, or less angled, or the position of the buttons, but this shape does not work for me. Furthermore, compared to more sophisticated Logi mice, switching between modes of the scroll wheel requires clicking a dedicated button - which is odly placed and serves as an additional programmable button on the MX Master. I was getting in my car, so the drop was less than two feet. The iPhone screen completely shattered. Needless to say, I didnt expect this since I really take protective care of my phones, iPads, etc. Not a happy moment to know that all I had invested hadnt protected the phone. I then looked extensively for a new case. I wanted to know if I dropped it, the chance of a shattered screen was reduced, that it didnt require taking the case off to charge and that the case wasnt slippery when handling. I also wanted it to look both professional and elegant. I especially like the metal color of my phone and wanted to enjoy it. After watching YouTube demonstrations, reading online bloggers and Amazon customer reviews and handling a dozen or more cases in various stores, I chose the X-Doria. Ive had the case for about a week and could not be happier with it. Its just beautiful and showcases the phone. Ive not had any of the problems others have reported, like charging port being too small. My Apple cords as well as my Anker cords and other sundry cords all work. It also has a strip on each side of the back panel that makes holding it more secure. I have recommended this product to several of my friends who are disgruntled with their cases. I bought more than one to be able to change it up when I get bored of the other. (Otter box was the other) But the X-Doria will be going back. When the case is on the volume and lock buttons are way to hard to use. You have to push hard for the buttons to actually respond. Also, the one I received may have just been poorly made, but the volume button is coming off, it appears a sticker is used to keep it on the aluminum part. I can use my headphones without having to use a connector cable or taking the case off. Its easy to put on and holds up to drops just like it says it does (Ive already dropped my phone twice). The buttons are easy to use and I like that its not bulky but still protects my phone. The only downside is that I know I cant drop this in water and be sure that my phone will survive; I think thats a reasonable tradeoff though. Definitely satisfied with this purchase. Having two teenagers, I immediately asked him what case he had! This is how I bought two X-Doria Defense cases: the rose gold(exact same color as my phone) and the iridescent (matches perfectly the rose gold Iphone too!). It is very easy to put on and fits perfectly. I was a bit worried as some reviews said that some buttons were hard to reach once the case was on. So far, I have had no problems although I set my phone on silent every night. I really recommend this case, it is nice and sturdy and less expensive than others. It is as good as the Lifeproof used by my other daughter. However, the supplied Acronis cloning software - while appreciated, did not work properly when cloning my Samsung 850EVO 120GB SSD onto this M.2. My Windows 10 OS drive (previously mentioned) while cloned successfully, the lock screen kept flickering and did not respond to any commands. So I attempted to clone using EaseUS, which resulted in a BSOD when booting for the first time. Was finally able to successfully clone my drive using Paragon Migrate OS to SSD 4.0. A piece of software that I have had a license for over 3 years - it has never failed me. It is also wise to update your BIOS firmware before installing this hardware as ones motherboard may not recognize this as a drive until the PCIE to M.2 is recognized with newer firmware. This was my case on the ASROCK Z97 Pro4 M. I got this thing for a steal, but Im a bit lukewarm on the MSRP, think thats a bit too much for what it is. As far as performance goes this is incredibly anecdotal but from the end of POST and all the BIOS stuff to a completely ready-to-go desktop takes about 2 seconds for Kubuntu 16.04 and 5 seconds for Windows 10, much much faster than my WD Black HDD. I went straight from an HDD to this SSD and the difference is incredible, not sure how much of an improvement it would be over a SATA SSD. The marked read/write speeds are much faster than any Ive seen on a SATA SSD but again, no personal experience, your mileage may very. All around great piece of kit for the money I paid. It took a bit of patience to get my motherboard to detect this unit and a whole lot more to install Windows 7 on it. With the latest FW update, the major issue was ironed out but the LED is now constantly on. And while I still have not installed Windows 10, I think I have accepted the shortcomings but its still bugging me. The main advantage of this unit is that the speeds are well above my Samsung Pro SSDs at 1000MB/s read and 700MB/s writes. And no more cabling.. However that was not why I purchased the unit, it was because I needed a drive and this was purchased at Amazon at a very competitive price. Having ignored it’s development, I’m not sure what to expect, and while it may be impossible, I hope they can capture Nihei’s art style in motion. Knights of Sidonia could probably still be great if it was done by other artists because the story is so strong, but what sets this excellent comic apart is Nihei’s personal graphic flair, the way he can depict vast interstellar distance, crazy fast action and weapon impacts or explosions all in the same panel. Page 146 is a good example of what I’m talking about, as Tanikaze uses the new prototype to snipe at the approaching Gauna. With the help of Google and YouTube I was able to build my Pi exactly the way I wanted and am very happy with the results. I run Retropie Raspbian and Kodi on a triple boot build and cant be more pleased. I was in the market to buy the mini classic Nintendo to relive some old fun, but wasnt willing to pay the exorbitant price for minimal use. I wanted to be able to play all the old games and any time I wanted. In addition to this I wanted to get into this Kodi craze and take full advantage of the internet. After some painstaking research I found the solution to all my desires would be a Raspberry Pi. As I said early, I decided to build it myself and it came with its challenges, but I did succeed in the end. The onboard Wifi works very well and the processing speed meets all my needs without overheating. I did buy a case with heatsinks, so this may have helped. One thing I would recommend is not buying the preloaded NOOBS micro SD card. It is a waste of money since you can just download NOOBS to your own card. This is still by far the best micro computer you can buy. all the common outputs, wifi. plenty of i/o, ample horsepower and expandable storage. When im putting together projects this is usually my go to. This little board can multitask and host a full os. So a I can build out a full web interface and serve it right off this device. There are so many resources online for this from beginner to advanced, or you could just load raspbian, plug in a wireless mouse and keyboard and slap it behind your tv as a mini computer. I often find myself using this in conjunction with an arduino or multiple arduinos for that matter. What Ive learned, Ive ususally learned on my own or through YouTube. I have made MANY visits to the "Tube" to understand this game. I have been a RE fan since game 1. Ive watched the series grow, stumble, grow a little more, go completely away from the series, and finally upright itself. RE 2 Revelations is a great change of place since RE 5, 6, and Resident Evil Revelations. I mean, who can really be scared about fighting blobs of goo, moving rocks, and other throwaway monsters. I will list my pros and cons: Pros: The actual game play itself is relative easy. The creatures are way more scary (some actually look like ZOMBIES)! There are the invisible kind, which I had quite a bit of trouble with, mutations within mutations, and some kick-butt bosses. Since you have to play with BOTH members of your "team," you will need to learn to get a move-on. Creatures do not wait for you to combine your weapons, change your weapons, or even administer health. This game was indeed more survival horror instead of what weve seen since RE5. Cons: Please keep in mind these are MY cons. All you guys that I would consider PROS at this probably will get a good laugh and tell me to start watching TV again! Keep in mind that Im 62 and probably dont know HALF of what you guys know, so just bear with me. I do not like the way you change your weapons. RE Revelations was more simple and easier. I also dont believe Ill ever under the "mercenaries" game. I dont understand the concept of "destroying" your weapons. You also cannot interchange your acquired parts. All the characters come pre-equipped with weapons, so you never really can earn any kick-butt new ones (or can you?). All in all, though, this is the best RE in a long time. There was definitely no quick-time, which seemed to plagued previous releases. The co-op was a disappointment as Moira and Natalia were incapable of firing any type of gun (a huge let down) a crowbar and brick are pitiful replacements. Although Natalias contribution was interesting, it was incredibly limiting and boring at times; which is more than can be said for Moiras sad flashlight. On the plus side, I now find myself reading Franz Kafka as his work was often quoted and inspired chapter titles (potentially more). Overall, the game was fun and scary (at times)! I thought the plot was pretty good, though it seems to be, basically, a rehash of Code Veronica--nothing spectacular but sows the seeds to keep the series going. The campaign itself was a little frustrating with ammo being ridiculously scarce and constantly needing to creep around as your secondary character to find precious sparkles. Where this game easily shines, and shines brightly, is the Raid mode. Its fantastic and fun revisiting levels and enemies from Resident Evil 6, Revelations 1 and Revelations 2. Ever since Resident Evil 3 introduced "The Mercenaries" that mode has always been my favorite part of the game (including Resident Evil 6--the one part that didnt suck). Revelations 2 is well worth a purchase for any Resident Evil fan--even those disillusioned by 6. This is one of my very favorite games of the past console generation, and my favorite franchise, as well. And on that subject, I would say that "A Crack in Time" is the best Ratchet and Clank adventure to date, though Im sure Insomniac is cooking up something extra special for the forthcoming "Into the Nexus", as well as whatever Lombax madness might be arriving on the highly vaunted PS4. If you are a Ratchet fan, you need this game in your collection. If youre a fan of platformers, you absolutely NEED to give this game a try. Ive never played a better platformer in my life, though Rayman Origins comes darned close (although the two are so different, its hard to make an adequate comparison - lets just agree that theyre both awesome). Whats particularly noteworthy about "A Crack in Time" is just how much there is to do in this crazy universe. The story-driven campaign is quite lengthy on its own, but I love revisiting the sectors that Ive already passed through. There, I can search moons and planets for additional challenges and collectibles, including gold bolts, zoni, and schematics for the ultimate weapon, the RYNO V. Additionally, I can answer distress calls from other star travelers and assist them, upgrade my spaceship, do battle with other ships, collect weapons and gadgets, focus on leveling up Ratchet AND all his crazy weapons, visit the coliseum for arena battles, and so forth. And as if all that wasnt enough, theres STILL the challenge mode (New Game+), trophies, AND a whole bunch of skill points to acquire. This is platforming perfection, and Ratchet and Clank gold. One of my favorite games of all time, I give it my highest possible recommendation. Its impossible to play this game and not have FUN, and just as impossible to not SMILE! Enjoy, space cadets! The game is nicely split between the adventures of Ratchet on one hand, and the adventures of Clank on the other (Clanks portion of the game is actually the most entertaining and amusing). Other than the great graphics, challenging gameplay, fun story and ribald humor that weve come to expect from this series, there are a lot of interesting aspects to this installment that make it a standout: hoverboots were a fantastic idea, they are tremendous fun to use; General Azimuth, one of the last remaining Lombaxes, is a fun companion; the voice acting in this game is some of the best Ive heard in a video game -- the best since Red Dead Redemption, which is arguably the best of all time; and the soundtrack in this one is really fantastic, puts you in the mood for a rousing space epic. I could only come up with two minor problems that keep this from being a five star classic: firstly the choice of weapons is surprisingly mediocre, certainly nowhere near as good as Tools of Destruction; and the lack of a female presence in the game is kind of a letdown -- if you are going to have a rousing space epic of game, it would be nice (from a male players POV) to have a good-looking, clever female sidekick with black belt in karate, a Princess Leia to your Han Solo. But these were only two minor flaws. Crack in Time is at least as good as the superb Tools of Destruction, and a worthy installment in the series. Previous knowledge isnt required, but there are occasional nods through the story. Those familiar with the series should know what to expect, and the game delivers: Outrageous weapons, bizarre alien worlds, silly fun with sci-fi tropes; its all there. The biggest change this time around is that the two title characters are separated for most of the game, due to events that took place at the end of the previous title. Ratchets gameplay remains the same, though his jumping skills are limited. Clanks, however, is completely new in that it deals with a lot of puzzle elements involving the use of "time clones" to coordinate series of platforming challenges. They can be surprisingly tricky, especially for those just here for the run-and-gun gameplay, but luckily these can be skipped if the game notices youre talking a long time to complete them. You lose out on some bonuses, but its nothing that will detract from the core experience. My only real complaint here is the new gimmick of Ratchets hover-boots. You get these several levels in, and they can be tricky to control, often leading to multiple deaths within certain portions of the level. Your experience may vary, but I wasnt a fan. All in all, though, if youre a fan of this series and havent gotten around to picking this up, its definitely worth your time. For example, clicking on a middle panel on any left page would often advance the page accidentally.
