If youre considering this kind of product, obviously you need to measure your desk out first because this can actually be too large for many desks. Secondly, be aware that this is a cloth texture mouse pad, not covered with hard plastic or the like (completely changes mouse movement). Personally, with my Logitech G402 I like this pads amount of friction as it allows smooth gliding with very good precision. The material is also very durable- in the month Ive had it, there hasnt been any notable stains, as other similar mousepads Ive used in the past tend to have dust particle smashed into the surface giving it a chalky appearance. And finally, given the choice between the MM200 and the MM300, I would still prefer this product. The MM300 offers a anti-fray stitched edge which I actually find distracting, but if youre the type who fiddles with the mouse pad or otherwise comes in contact with the edges (unlikely, considering how big it is), the MM300 might work out better for you. The magnetic clip was a little worrying, I always get nervous whenever magnets are near my electronics, but it seems to be a fear of a bygone era. It has no negative effect on the kindle whatsoever. It does make a satisfying clicking noise, however, when I close my kindle. I really like that clicking noise. This is slimmer than the original Amazon Paperwhite case, which was gifted to me, which I like because one of the selling points of the Paperwhite is how small it is. My favorite part is the hand strap, which is one of the primary reasons, I purchased this case. I have a handstrap on my tablet case and I use it regularly when I make use of my tablet, it is equally useful on this paperwhite. I feel safe using my kindle in the bath or while on the train. The paperwhite feels secure on my hand. Its not perfect though, the strap would feel better if it was place more towards the center of the cover, that way people with small hands could use it better with one hand. The cover also feels somewhat tight when closing over the kindle. I keep feeling the need to stretch the cover a little to sit flush with the kindle face. When I do this, however, the sleep/wake function stops working. Overall, great case, definitely worth the 11$. Its the perfect case for the price. It didnt put the kindle to sleep when I first tried to use it, but I realized it wasnt pushed down into the case entirely. It worked perfectly after getting the kindle to fit in the case properly. Por Freader em 9 de maio de 2016 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada After ten months of use, my main complaint with this Paperwhite cover, could be solved if the plastic side of the cover had the same cut-out for the charge port and off/on button on the top, as it has on the bottom. This would enable it to accept the Paperwhite upside down, which would make for an easy left-hand hold with the hand strap. This would also place the strap in a position easiest to use for those with small hands. The second complaint is unless one has a gargantuan hand, or holds the cover with two hands, while reading lying on ones back, the heavier Kindle side can easily fall forward towards your face. A snap or a magnet closure connecting the two sections would prevent that. Also, the flexible spine allows the heavier Kindle side to skew, causing one to twist their wrist to keep the print straight - not very ergonomic for long reading sessions. Another problem - the magnet has come out of its slot, preventing proper closure of the cover, which drains the battery when the Kindle turns on by itself, intermittently. This doesnt happen with the cover left open, but then that negates the reason for a protective cover when carried in a purse or backpack. I have a Marware easel-style cover for the old Kindle Keyboard. The cover flips over the top and is held to the second section at the bottom with a well-made elastic band, with a handstrap on the back for easy one-handed use with either hand. One can also stand it up like an easel, while following recipes. I have yet to find a similar style for the Paperwhite. Ive threatened to remove the leather side of the Swees cover and just slide the plastic side with the Paperwhite into the Marware cover - it fits! Other than the above points, the overall quality of the cover holds up really well. The stitching is still tight and unfrayed with daily handling over the past ten months, and the leather, front and back, is unscratched after being carried around in a purse. The elastic hand strap is actually not as useful as you might think - when you open the case and flip the cover around to the back of the Kindle, there is nothing to secure the front flap to the back. So whether or not you are using the hand strap, you still have to support the device with both your thumb and 4 fingers. Its marginally useful if you spend a lot of time reading while laying down with the kindle directly above your head. If this case had a magnet on the back of the case as well as the front, it would be a 5-star item. While searching for it, however, I came across Ankers newest entry, the SoundCore Sport XL. Given the price, my general satisfaction with Anker, and Amazons solid return policy, I decided to give both speakers a try. Ill note that the SoundCore Sport XL is probably more comparable to the JBL Charge 2 given that both units have a USB port to let you charge your phone or other device. The Flip 3 doesnt have charging output port. If you want the shortest possible answer: Were keeping the Flip 3 and giving the SoundCore XL as a gift. But it was almost a coin toss about which was going to stay. Sound: I wanted this speaker to have enough volume for modest outdoor gatherings (both meet that criteria, though the Flip 3 is probably a touch louder) and sound good enough that I wouldnt mind having it playing in the house. Im also biased against todays tendency for consumer speakers to emphasize bass response over every other frequency range. If you like your music boom-y, Im not going to like the same speakers that you will. My wife and I listened to each of them across a wide range of music from classical to folk to hip-hop to pop to hard rock, trying to get a sense of which we liked better. The answer, as it turned out, was "it depends." The Flip 3 is definitely not as "flat" audibly as the SoundCore. Within the limits of what you can do with a small speaker, the Flip seems to emphasize the bass and treble ends of the spectrum more. High treble even sounded unnaturally "sizzly" for a couple songs. In others, the vocalist almost seemed a bit buried under the rest of the mix--though never disturbingly so. (Were talking nuance here, and your ears may have a different experience.) The SoundCore is definitely more flat sounding. It doesnt produce as much bass as the Flip, but thats not necessarily a bad thing, and it never had the sizzling issue in the treble. It just sounds...even. People used to the punchy sound emphasized by consumer speaker and headphone manufacturers, however, may find that the music lacks a bit of life. Which did we prefer? Ultimately it depended on what we were playing. Folk, country and music from the 70s and 80s that clearly was mixed with the intent of playing over the radio we often preferred on the SoundCore. More current pop, rock, and hip-hop sounded better to us on the JBL. In the final count, the JBL came out on top, but not by much. Ive been listening to both for a few days now, switching back and forth every so often, and I find that Im inclined toward the JBL, but I certainly dont mind the SoundCore. Size and Build: The SoundCore Sport XL is about 7 x 3 x 1.75 inches and wrapped in what feels like very sturdy, slightly rubbery plastic. Its definitely heavy in your hand and makes you feel confident that it can hold up to some rigorous outdoor use. The biggest issue with the design is that I found myself constantly grabbing into the bass port on the back, which includes a metal cover over a stretchy membrane for a passive woofer. I have no idea if pushing on the cover would damage the passive woofer, but it was disconcerting. The Flip 3 is 6.5 x 2.5 inches and covered in a dense fabric with hard plastic ends. Its slightly lighter in the hand, and the cylindrical shape makes it more comfortable to pick up and carry around. It feels solidly built if not quite as tank-like as the SoundCore. Never before has someone created this combination of size, sound quality, loudness, bass response, splash proof all for only $99! I have previously owned UE boom, Denon Envaya mini and JBL charge plus 2. These are the Flip 3s closest competitors. Here is my summary of the competition. UE boom: the reason I believe the UE boom is so popular is the form factor is just right and its loud for its size. What I dont like about the UE Boom is its $200 price tag and almost no bass whatsoever. Denon Envaya Mini: so close, I just wish it was louder and the battery would only last a few hours a moderate volumes. JBL Charge 2+: overall really good speaker, my two issues are, the sound profile is too bloated. Yes it has good bass for its side but it tends to drown out the higher frequencies and has quite a bit of dynamic compression at high volumes. Also I just wish it was a little smaller to fit in camping chair cup holders and more portable. And now for the JBL flip 3: its as loud as the UE boom, does not have the battery life issues of the Denon and does not have bloated bass like the charge 2+. The sound profile is well balanced, the upper frequencies are slightly upfront with decent bass for its size. My prediction, this will be the best selling Bluetooth speaker in its class! Because of the size you probably wont shoot it like a rifle, youll hold it out from your body like a pistol. So it would have been a lot smarter and more realistic to just make the gun a pistol. Sights are useless, only two white plastic bumps. When holding the gun like a rifle I found it to small to use the sights anyway. Gun requires two AA batteries and sensor bar requires two AA batteries. Cant say much else about it because my gun would not connect to the console. The gun has an on/off button on the side just like on a Xbox 360 controller. When I pressed the button on the gun the lights would spin like it was trying to connect with the console but never would. My regular controller had no problems connecting. I guess you could play this game with the regular controller, but the whole reason I bought it was to play it with the gun. Since the gun doesnt work and was a joke anyway, I didnt bother playing it with the controller and decided to return it. Thats why I was so interested hearing the "budget" version of these ear-phones. They come in a plain cardboard box, with one extra set of rubber ear pieces - which is quite a contrast to Xiaomis more expensive earbuds, which come in an elegantly designed box. Superficially, the buds have the same shape and design of the excellent Xiaomi QTEJ02JY ear speakers - but the cheaper buds have a lot more plastic. The sound, too, is something of a let-down; instead of the expected rich sound of earlier generations of these phones, $9.99 Xiaomi pistons have less definition, with uninteresting highs and okay lows - best suited for audiobooks or podcasts. I am sure these gaps will fill in with debris and make things worse over time. This was the first day of use. No amount of reattaching and pressing it in place helps. I came from the Corsair K70 RGB with Cherry red MX switches. Let me start with the build and quality, it is amazing. Solid feel and the lighting behind the white key caps are very bright and eye catching. It definitely looks like a premium keyboard. With all of that being said I dislike it for the one thing it’s meant for typing. I’ve never had so many typos and windows key press errors. While playing PUBG, Fornite and Counter Strike I hit the windows key more times I could count. If you’re a gamer you know that causes you to jump out of the game. I do feel like the keys are higher than what I am use to. The switches have a longer travel time to actuate. In my honest opinion going from the Corsair to Cherry Reds to this was a huge mistake for me. The trade off is the beauty over functionality. I’m choosing to go back and go with the Corsair K95 Plantium. It’s a true and trusted for me. This was purely from my experience and that is the only reason I deducted one star. I also would like to mention I have smaller hands and could be the cause of it. All of my Corsair keyboards came with wrist rest and this keyboard did not come with one. The main problem is longevity, which in my case was just over one year. The E key on my board does not respond half the time, and as the warranty is only a year, there is no way to fix it, so Im left with a $99 hunk of metal. Save your money and look for another keyboard which uses Cherry MX switches. Have to keep resetting the space key. My logitech keyboard, however has lasted for 5 years under heavy gaming pressure and still works completely. Switching back. I came from the Corsair K70 RGB with Cherry red MX switches. Let me start with the build and quality, it is amazing. Solid feel and the lighting behind the white key caps are very bright and eye catching. It definitely looks like a premium keyboard. With all of that being said I dislike it for the one thing it’s meant for typing. I’ve never had so many typos and windows key press errors. While playing PUBG, Fornite and Counter Strike I hit the windows key more times I could count. If you’re a gamer you know that causes you to jump out of the game. I do feel like the keys are higher than what I am use to. The switches have a longer travel time to actuate. In my honest opinion going from the Corsair to Cherry Reds to this was a huge mistake for me. The trade off is the beauty over functionality. I’m choosing to go back and go with the Corsair K95 Plantium. It’s a true and trusted for me. This was purely from my experience and that is the only reason I deducted one star. I also would like to mention I have smaller hands and could be the cause of it. All of my Corsair keyboards came with wrist rest and this keyboard did not come with one. Updating my review because after heavy gaming for only two years, the qwer keys start to quit and the spacebar has sunk in so far on one side that it will only respond on the other side. Have to keep resetting the space key. My logitech keyboard, however has lasted for 5 years under heavy gaming pressure and still works completely. Switching back. Just like my matching Razer mouse that quit after short use. Love the concept and light up but too much sparkly and not enough worky worky. Razer synapse is pretty easy to use although I find the settings sometimes change on their own and reset to default. Just a software issue though and they are constantly updating it anyway. Unfortunately we probably got a unit from the first production run, so there are many issues that still need to be sorted out before you should buy this. So far I havent been able to print anything other than a 1" tall sample part. Here are some of the problems: 1) Filament sometimes gets stuck during removal. Makerbot suggests using pliers to pull out filament, but doing this yanks the Smart Extruder off the cart, which is apparently bad for it. Had to disassemble my Smart Extruder to remove the filament plug that had formed inside. 2) Calibration seems broken. The nozzle scrapes along the build plate even after multiple rounds of leveling and calibration. 3) Filament jams repeatedly. Was unable to actually print after the initial test part. Likely due to the calibration issue described above. Fails about 15-20 seconds into print. Resuming or restarting the print does not help. 4) Slow firmware. Takes a very long time to boot up, to upgrade firmware (15 minutes), to calibrate, to start printing, etc. If youve used any other Makerbot product youll be pretty disappointed by this. 5) Poorly designed filament guide. The Z18 uses a long flexible plastic straw as a guide, and it kind of floats near the print head. It occasionally gets caught or kinked against the lid, which yanks the Smart Extruder off the cart. Unlike the Replicator 2, for example, the straw does not fit into the print head. It just dangles. Observations based on firmware 1.2.0.112. Update: Makerbot sent out a new Smart Extruder via overnight mail. Now it will start extruding without immediately jamming, but I still cant print. Nothing seems to stick to the base plate, so when I come back after 30 minutes to check on things, theres usually a huge glob of molten filament around the extruder tip and a birds nest of extruded filament scattered around the build plate. They finally released a better smart extruder, which you have to pay for. The amount of time spent on getting a good print is far too high - I could send out files to print for cheaper. PREVIOUS: For the cost, this printer should be far beyond its experimental phase and should be a consumer-ready device -- not something one has to spend hours toying with in order to get it working. The 1st printer we received had multiple issues and errors -- A) The printer could not detect that the door was closed. B) The ribbon cables inside the machine were not fully seated. C) The "smart" extruder was not being detected. D) Once printing, prints could not stick to the print bed without using a raft (Im still testing options to correct this). E) The updated firmware does not work (causing a "carriage disconnected" issue, and then an error in which the printer couldnt detect the smart extruder) User support (I have a MakerCare Plan) has to be the worst support I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I was on the phone that first evening for over an hour just waiting for a human to answer. I had submitted a case ticket as well, with no reply. I finally reached a human the next morning and he was completely clueless and unhelpful -- all he could do was request the printers diagnostic logs so an expert could review them and get back to me (I emailed the logs to him, with no reply of receipt, and no answer to correct the printers issues -- it has been 2 weeks!!!). I found a user group on Google for Makerbot Owners and found more support and answers there than Makerbots User Support or website. I reseated the interior cables, factory reset the printer, and rolled back firmware (seemed to solve most of the issues with the smart extruder and carriage being detected). I then printed a couple test models that come on the printers storage and a model of my own. There were a few hiccups, but the prints turned out fairly well (hence the rating above 1*). I havent solved the issue of successfully printing without a raft yet, but the model I created and printed turned out quite well (except it could have used some supports, which I didnt check ON). Other CONs: The spool should have a simple hinged piece to keep pressure on the filament, so it cannot unravel (seems like it would be simple to implement). The electronic noises the printer makes are annoying (not the mechanical noises). The bright lights inside the printer dont turn off (Im not sure if they can be turned off) The web cam is not very useful Final Comments: We sent the printer back and got a new one -- got error code 13 and 1500 on the new printer. I reseated the cables, which fixed both errors. I am printing now, and it seems to be working fine now. Hopefully I can work with the printer to get the best results, but this printer is definitely not ready for regular consumers.
