The cradle for the ipad mini 4 fits nicely and has an opening on the back to prevent overheating. The cradle rotates to a vertical standing position, which is nice. Also, when youre leaning the pad back without using the little leather stop tab it sits at a nice angle for viewing and whatnot. My only gripes are: 1. The little leather tab that you use to keep your iPad from sliding forward when youve got it standing up is not all that easy to use and sort of requires you to pick at it with your fingernail and hold it up while you slide your ipad under it, which makes it easy to accidentally touch the screen and change a setting or otherwise mess something up. 2. The little gold-plated magnet at the end of the latch appears to be very easy to scratch, or the paint is just coming off naturally. Not a huge deal, really, but it is a minor annoyance. PROs: Decent price for a decent case. I like the design and the functionality CONs: The leather stop tab sort of sucks. A rippled speed-bump sort of surface would have been more appropriate. For some reason almost no one make cases that enable us to prop the ipad mini horizontally AND vertically. Well, this one does! I just got it in navy. The material feels really nice and I am so happy that I can view my ipad either direction with this. The only negative is that in the horizontal mode, the magnet clip can tend to hang down over the screen at the top. But I think I can work with it to keep it from doing that. The ZA13 is smaller so I can cup it better. This gives me more control over smaller mouse movements. The buttons are stiffer which help me with one tapping. The slight wings on the side and raised back make it more comfortable to hold and use. New Zowie logo and white scroll wheel look look better. Same great sensor as the FK1, excellent performance. I wish Amazon would add a way to indicate if a product exceeds expectation. This is a great camera for the price. I paid 69.00 Jan 5 of 2018. Ive been using the SJCAM SJ4000 for over 6 years as a dash cam. Works great. Inexpensive. I wont drive without a dashcam of some sort and these have been working perfectly. I use the clamp mount to my rear view mirror base so it wont fall. I dont trust the suction cups which have always eventually fallen for me. I use a 64gb card and get over 6 hours of record time, allows me to download files less frequently. I also use it on casual bicycle trips, although its a pretty shaky picture. I put one in my moms car because she was accused of rear-ending someone who had actually hit the car in front of them and tried to make it look like my mom caused it. Fortunately, she had no damage to the front of her car so it was clear she didnt cause the accident. BE CAREFUL BUYING these as there have been many fake/counterfeits. Ive tried some of them and they may be worth the lower price but they perform poorly. Buy from SJCAM directly and Im sure youll be safe. I have an Apple/Mac computer and use FCPX to edit videos. These files work/process well. The files are.MOV. Thats important for me because AVI files dont seem to work directly with my computer/software. Of course, they can be converted but that adds to the time to process. Ive owned GoPro in the past and they, of course, are a better camera but for what Im using it for I dont need the extra quality/cost. An important feature for me is the Timestamp. I think GoPro still does not have this as a built-in feature but I may be wrong. Also important to me is the wide angle lens. This is the widest of the less expensive action cameras. They boast 170 degrees, not sure if thats correct because if it was 180 degree Id be able to see things that are at 90 degrees of the camera and I cant. As it is I can almost see the windshield pillars so Im sure its close to 170 and if nothing else I can say its getting everything in front of me and at a 45-degree angle from that. The FOV (field of view) can be changed if you dont like the distortion. I wish it where designed so you could get to the card without having to unplug the power cord (I have it running on a 12v lighter outlet). I use it on 12v so it starts automatically when I start my car, I never really have to think about it, just look up once in awhile to make sure the power cord hasnt backed out from the lighter socket. Theres not much Id change about it, maybe some date options, Id like it to show the day of the week. The USB port has been the only weak spot. Ive had 2 fail on me because I regularly plug/unplug power to get to the SD card. Ive always bought a SquareTrade warranty and they have covered the repair. I suppose I should mention the battery cover also, sort of hard to remove because of the small size of the button holding it in but Ive been able to make it work. I have big fingers. I think it could be easily redesigned to be more user-friendly. I notice they have stopped supplying the open air case that has a tripod mount screw in it. I came from the Corsair K70 RGB with Cherry red MX switches. Let me start with the build and quality, it is amazing. Solid feel and the lighting behind the white key caps are very bright and eye catching. It definitely looks like a premium keyboard. With all of that being said I dislike it for the one thing it’s meant for typing. I’ve never had so many typos and windows key press errors. While playing PUBG, Fornite and Counter Strike I hit the windows key more times I could count. If you’re a gamer you know that causes you to jump out of the game. I do feel like the keys are higher than what I am use to. The switches have a longer travel time to actuate. In my honest opinion going from the Corsair to Cherry Reds to this was a huge mistake for me. The trade off is the beauty over functionality. I’m choosing to go back and go with the Corsair K95 Plantium. It’s a true and trusted for me. This was purely from my experience and that is the only reason I deducted one star. I also would like to mention I have smaller hands and could be the cause of it. All of my Corsair keyboards came with wrist rest and this keyboard did not come with one. The first is that the default, and unchangeable, lighting mode is "breathing", which cycles the lighting on and off at an interval. This is fine if you have the Razer software installed as you can change it, but if you do not, there is no way to change it to a constant backlight. That was the minor annoyance. The main problem is longevity, which in my case was just over one year. The E key on my board does not respond half the time, and as the warranty is only a year, there is no way to fix it, so Im left with a $99 hunk of metal. Save your money and look for another keyboard which uses Cherry MX switches. This my first Razer keyboard (first Razer anything really) and I fell in love with the feel and response time, the slickness & the clickyness of this keyboard. the lighting is actually pretty bright even though the lighting falls on a dark background. the only thing that would have made this keyboard ultimate is if they put a couple of USB ports on it, made the cord detachable and maybe made it spill proof and the underside metal and not plastic. My only nitpick about this keyboard really is that they didnt make all the symbols on the keyboard able to be illuminated (ex. ~!@#$%^ etc.) Overall this is a pretty solid keyboard and every bit worth the money. Its heavy duty, it clicks loud and feels smooth to type with. Amazing gaming keyboard for LoL and WoW. Updating my review because after heavy gaming for only two years, the qwer keys start to quit and the spacebar has sunk in so far on one side that it will only respond on the other side. Have to keep resetting the space key. My logitech keyboard, however has lasted for 5 years under heavy gaming pressure and still works completely. Switching back. Just like my matching Razer mouse that quit after short use. Love the concept and light up but too much sparkly and not enough worky worky. Razer synapse is pretty easy to use although I find the settings sometimes change on their own and reset to default. Just a software issue though and they are constantly updating it anyway. However, I am not disappointed. This case is fantastic. Ive owned tons of cases, and I needed a sturdy, but not insanely bulky/heavy *cough cough* Otterbox *cough*. The case doesnt feel cheap, it feels nicely made, and its SLIM! It doesnt add that much weight/size to my atheistically pleasing shiny slim iPhone 5. This case doesnt let down. Its not silicone, (thank goodness) its a high strength plastic/rubber. I doesnt slide off the phone Easily. It grips the phone very nicely. The corners are reinforced with rubber bumpers, they can also be exchanged for different colors, which is a nice feature. (Each color case comes with different color bumpers. Mine came with orange, pink, white, and black). The case it comes in says it can withstand drops of up to 5ft. This is fine for an average user like me who doesnt need an industrial strength case for my iPhone 5. So if you are looking for a QUALITY made case with barely any bulk, buy this! The case is lightly textured, so it wont slip from your hand. The changeable corners give it the ability to personalize your case based on your mood, the corners are slightly thicker than the rest of the case, providing that protection in case it is dropped face down or something (I havent dropped mine, but I looks like it would never even come close to hitting my screen). Doesnt add bulk or much weight to the phone. Orange protective cases have been hard to find, this one is a keeper! Cons: The button on the top is a bit hard to press, but Im getting used to it. And the more I use it the easier it seems to get to push. I have noticed that it is peeling up my screen protector a bit in the corners. I think thats because the case is so snug fitting, but I had a cheap screen protector that was peeling before, so I cant really complain. Its not hard plastic, not soft gooey silicone but somewhere in between. More like a semi rigid high quality rubber/silicone not sure. What makes this case dynamic is its super slim construction and the bumper sections on the corners which have cushiony soft inserts. The corners themselves are slightly bubbled and are actually a void space meaning the edges of your phone do not touch the inside outer corners of this case...great design. I have dropped my iphone 5 a few times in the driveway without damaging the phone or the case. I have had this case on for a long time now and it has no signs of wear and has held its original form. So this should be considered an "extended use" review. Looking forward to the new iphone 6 to become available and Ballastics case for that, granted its of similar design. To compare, I started with the Otterbox Defender quality case but to bulky, then tried the Otterbox commuter, again quality case but hard slippery plastic and bulky. I also like the fact I can put my phone in my semi tight jean front pocket and hop in my car without feeling like a friggin brick is in there. I came from the Corsair K70 RGB with Cherry red MX switches. Let me start with the build and quality, it is amazing. Solid feel and the lighting behind the white key caps are very bright and eye catching. It definitely looks like a premium keyboard. With all of that being said I dislike it for the one thing it’s meant for typing. I’ve never had so many typos and windows key press errors. While playing PUBG, Fornite and Counter Strike I hit the windows key more times I could count. If you’re a gamer you know that causes you to jump out of the game. I do feel like the keys are higher than what I am use to. The switches have a longer travel time to actuate. In my honest opinion going from the Corsair to Cherry Reds to this was a huge mistake for me. The trade off is the beauty over functionality. I’m choosing to go back and go with the Corsair K95 Plantium. It’s a true and trusted for me. This was purely from my experience and that is the only reason I deducted one star. I also would like to mention I have smaller hands and could be the cause of it. All of my Corsair keyboards came with wrist rest and this keyboard did not come with one. The first is that the default, and unchangeable, lighting mode is "breathing", which cycles the lighting on and off at an interval. This is fine if you have the Razer software installed as you can change it, but if you do not, there is no way to change it to a constant backlight. That was the minor annoyance. The main problem is longevity, which in my case was just over one year. The E key on my board does not respond half the time, and as the warranty is only a year, there is no way to fix it, so Im left with a $99 hunk of metal. Save your money and look for another keyboard which uses Cherry MX switches. This my first Razer keyboard (first Razer anything really) and I fell in love with the feel and response time, the slickness & the clickyness of this keyboard. the lighting is actually pretty bright even though the lighting falls on a dark background. the only thing that would have made this keyboard ultimate is if they put a couple of USB ports on it, made the cord detachable and maybe made it spill proof and the underside metal and not plastic. My only nitpick about this keyboard really is that they didnt make all the symbols on the keyboard able to be illuminated (ex. ~!@#$%^ etc.) Overall this is a pretty solid keyboard and every bit worth the money. Have to keep resetting the space key. My logitech keyboard, however has lasted for 5 years under heavy gaming pressure and still works completely. Switching back. It has a hard rubberized plastic around corners allowing for a decent grip and making it somewhat easy to put the phone in and slip out without causing damage. It also has a hard plastic back with rubberized corners just slightly raised so you can set it down without worrying about the camera. The Note 4 fits perfectly snug inside and the power/volume buttons have no gap so feel nice and flush. I personally like the flaps to cover the usb/headphone port, they go in nice and snug and seem durable. There is easily enough open room to grab the s pen and also use the heart rate monitor on back. Overall it is a very nice case for the price. The only "con" is at least on mine, the bottom isnt perfectly flush just under the home button. But this has a slight advantage as it gives juuuust enough room to easily swipe your thumb at an angle over the fingerprint scanner. The unfortunate thing I find is that with time all clear cases start to become kind of dirty looking. This one became sort of grayish, which is not an entirely bad thing, considering I used it for 2 years. Ive had many smartphones and have gone through many cases, and I can honestly say that this is my favorite. I got the clear version for the Note 4. Its the perfect blend between a rubber/TPU case and a hard plastic case. The sides feel soft like rubber, and the back feels like soft plexiglass. Its nice to be able to see the entire phone through this crystal clear case. The rubber on the sides covering the volume and power buttons is firm, but very easy to press, and you can feel the clicks of the buttons. All the cut-outs for the ports are perfectly aligned. The edge at the bottom of the case below the home button does dip down slightly, but I dont mind. The back of the case is pretty much flush with the camera lens, but there are are tiny feet on the back of the case in the corners that lift the lens and back of the case off whatever surface you set it on. It does say "Ringke FUSION" on the bottom right edge, but on the clear version it is in slightly raised clear letters and looks very tactful. The included template for tracing your own insert to put between the phone and the case is an interesting concept. The bonus screen protector is good quality and covers the main part of the screen, but not the bezels on the side, which Ive heard are slightly curved on this phone and hard for screen protectors to stick to. This one seems to fit nicely and does not show any signs of halo effect (protector peeling away from the curved edges). I thought this might be a temporary case and screen protector until finding something more expensive, but now Im just going to keep this one permanently. Highly recommended! I originally bought this so that I could decorate it, and I think itll be perfect for that. I actually plan on buying a second one, just to have, because I like it that much. I have an otterbox also, but its just so big and bulky. This is slim and comfortable and just a really good case. I dropped my phone twice today (but only from about foot off the ground), onto concrete, and its still perfect. The only thing I dont like about the case is the port covers. Its not that theyre bad, but they could use to be a little tighter fit (specifically the charging cover). Its somewhat loose when pushed in. Nothing major though and I wouldnt even dock a star for it. The shield that the case comes with, is sub-par though. Its too narrow (doesnt really go to the edge of the visual screen, and is FAR from the edge of the phone). Also, mine doesnt have the loose defect near the port. Its all very flush and tight all around. What Ive learned, Ive ususally learned on my own or through YouTube. I have made MANY visits to the "Tube" to understand this game. I have been a RE fan since game 1. Ive watched the series grow, stumble, grow a little more, go completely away from the series, and finally upright itself. RE 2 Revelations is a great change of place since RE 5, 6, and Resident Evil Revelations. I mean, who can really be scared about fighting blobs of goo, moving rocks, and other throwaway monsters. I will list my pros and cons: Pros: The actual game play itself is relative easy. The creatures are way more scary (some actually look like ZOMBIES)! There are the invisible kind, which I had quite a bit of trouble with, mutations within mutations, and some kick-butt bosses. Since you have to play with BOTH members of your "team," you will need to learn to get a move-on. Creatures do not wait for you to combine your weapons, change your weapons, or even administer health. This game was indeed more survival horror instead of what weve seen since RE5. Cons: Please keep in mind these are MY cons. All you guys that I would consider PROS at this probably will get a good laugh and tell me to start watching TV again! Keep in mind that Im 62 and probably dont know HALF of what you guys know, so just bear with me. I do not like the way you change your weapons. RE Revelations was more simple and easier. I also dont believe Ill ever under the "mercenaries" game. I dont understand the concept of "destroying" your weapons. You also cannot interchange your acquired parts. All the characters come pre-equipped with weapons, so you never really can earn any kick-butt new ones (or can you?). All in all, though, this is the best RE in a long time. Por Brlane em 11 de abril de 2017 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada this is a true return to form for resident evil. this is the first resident evil game i have played since the outbreak games that FELT like resident evil. its dark its scary and atmospheric. you read files and explore dark creepy places. not run around mindlessly gunning down monsters. while i love resident evil 6 im not going to bash it because it was a great game as well. as for re5 i am still playing that game and will have a review coming later. i honestly think that capcom listened to the fans and gave us something good one last time (before the series moved on to the ps4) much like how order of ecclesia was the last good castlevania to be released. best of all theres no onslaught of quick time garbage that has been crippling the game since resident evil 4.(that is one of the only weak points in re4) claire redfield returns from resident evil 2 along side barrys daughter moira in her debut. the girls are kidnapped and barry burton from re1 returns to find them. there are 2 campaigns claire and moira and barry and natalia (another new character) the game is episodic in nature broken up in 4 parts when you finish claires story in each episode you then switch to barry for his adventure. i highly recommend this game for any resident evil fan Ler mais 4,0 de 5 estrelas Surprisingly good Por Misfit mitten em 15 de novembro de 2015 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada Having played through most of the games in the resident evil franchise, I found this game refreshing as it required more thinking than mindless shooting of the "infected" found in resident evil 6. There was definitely no quick-time, which seemed to plagued previous releases. The co-op was a disappointment as Moira and Natalia were incapable of firing any type of gun (a huge let down) a crowbar and brick are pitiful replacements. Although Natalias contribution was interesting, it was incredibly limiting and boring at times; which is more than can be said for Moiras sad flashlight. On the plus side, I now find myself reading Franz Kafka as his work was often quoted and inspired chapter titles (potentially more). Overall, the game was fun and scary (at times)! I thought the plot was pretty good, though it seems to be, basically, a rehash of Code Veronica--nothing spectacular but sows the seeds to keep the series going. The campaign itself was a little frustrating with ammo being ridiculously scarce and constantly needing to creep around as your secondary character to find precious sparkles. Where this game easily shines, and shines brightly, is the Raid mode. Its fantastic and fun revisiting levels and enemies from Resident Evil 6, Revelations 1 and Revelations 2. Ever since Resident Evil 3 introduced "The Mercenaries" that mode has always been my favorite part of the game (including Resident Evil 6--the one part that didnt suck). Revelations 2 is well worth a purchase for any Resident Evil fan--even those disillusioned by 6. Audio quality is clear, and it is the most comfortable headset that Ive ever owned. The ear cups do a good job of canceling noise out as well. The microphone works great also, however a plastic piece broke off of it, leaving an exposed wire and a shaky, unstable mic. Take a look at the attached picture if you want to see exactly what Im talking about. I have contacted Kingston customer service asking them to replace the mic since this headset comes with a 2 year warranty and am currently waiting to hear back from them. I will update my review, and depending on how they handle this issue change my rating to either 1 or 5 stars. Update: Kingston replaced the mic for free under warranty. They sent it with 2 day shipping and didnt even require me to send the broken part back. For me as a live streamer on Twitch.tv I need two things for long gaming sessions headset wise: Comfort and Quality. These are by far the most comfortable headset I have ever worn. The design is sleek and it is WELL made. Most headsets nowadays come with leatherette ear cups and I CANT STAND IT. So I was happy to see the HyperX Cloud had replaceable Velour Ear Cushions. (the cloth ones) That was a huge plus for me. The soft leather band on the headset makes your skull feel like you are in HEAVEN. Too many headset makers dont care much for the pressure a headset puts on your noggin. HyperX does. I have had these 2 months prior to the recent release and not one sign of wear, and trust me I have a HUGE head. Now for sound. 53MM Drivers. This is better then most out there. And it is obvious in the sound. I play World of Warcraft and other MMOs, and let me tell you the sounds I can now hear that I couldnt before. The sound is so much clearer you wonder how the hell you tolerated your previous headset. The Aluminum build gives the Cloud a great shape and shows that HyperX cares about the longevity of their products. If you want comfort and quality sound this is your headset. And at $99? Yeah its worth it. I wanted to have the stereo version since my creative fatal1ty is now 2 yrs old. Just felt like having an update. Using the 3.5mm jacks for headphones and microphone i was able to utilize my onboard asus sound card with crystal sound 2.0 same as the creative, but sure its stereo - however when configured right you can pinpoint location pretty well. The HyperX Cloud is just as comfy as the Cloud II. Great build quality i feel with them. Love the white and black color - its looks clean and crisp and now also matches my new rig which is an artic white corsair 760t. Sound - it is a step up to the creative - good lows, mids n highs and good base. in games it is not too boomy or bassy but has just the right amount for the explosions in a game like battlefield 4 - but does not hinder you from pinpointing sound. I love it so far - just wore it for 8+ hrs straight gaming and didnt have a problem. If Kingston reads this review - please see the review i put in for the HyperX Cloud II and why i gave it a 2 stars. all the info is there. If you can make a Kingston HyperX Cloud III based on the constructive criticism i have for the Cloud II and have it to where you have the best of both worlds of the Original and the II esp in white or pink, i will definitely buy those when they drop. The sound quality is excellent, seems to be well made, (although I havent owned it for very long yet) and I have no problems with the microphone quality. I was pleasantly surprised at how many adapters HyperX included without additional cost. It came with multiple AUX extender cables (the ones with a mic and speaker jack) plus a 2-to-1 standard AUX adapter. One of the extender cables included a nice volume adjustment box. They even included a replacement pair of earphone pads, which were a soft cloth material. The ones that come on the headset are a leather-like material, so I guess HyperX wanted us to have the option. They also included a travel case for the headset. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Audio quality is clear, and it is the most comfortable headset that Ive ever owned. The ear cups do a good job of canceling noise out as well. The microphone works great also, however a plastic piece broke off of it, leaving an exposed wire and a shaky, unstable mic. Take a look at the attached picture if you want to see exactly what Im talking about. I have contacted Kingston customer service asking them to replace the mic since this headset comes with a 2 year warranty and am currently waiting to hear back from them. I will update my review, and depending on how they handle this issue change my rating to either 1 or 5 stars. Update: Kingston replaced the mic for free under warranty. They sent it with 2 day shipping and didnt even require me to send the broken part back. The magnetic clip was a little worrying, I always get nervous whenever magnets are near my electronics, but it seems to be a fear of a bygone era. It has no negative effect on the kindle whatsoever. It does make a satisfying clicking noise, however, when I close my kindle. I really like that clicking noise. This is slimmer than the original Amazon Paperwhite case, which was gifted to me, which I like because one of the selling points of the Paperwhite is how small it is. My favorite part is the hand strap, which is one of the primary reasons, I purchased this case. I have a handstrap on my tablet case and I use it regularly when I make use of my tablet, it is equally useful on this paperwhite. I feel safe using my kindle in the bath or while on the train. The paperwhite feels secure on my hand. Its not perfect though, the strap would feel better if it was place more towards the center of the cover, that way people with small hands could use it better with one hand. The cover also feels somewhat tight when closing over the kindle. I keep feeling the need to stretch the cover a little to sit flush with the kindle face. When I do this, however, the sleep/wake function stops working. Overall, great case, definitely worth the 11$. Its the perfect case for the price. It didnt put the kindle to sleep when I first tried to use it, but I realized it wasnt pushed down into the case entirely. It worked perfectly after getting the kindle to fit in the case properly. Por Freader em 9 de maio de 2016 - Publicada na Amazon.com Compra verificada After ten months of use, my main complaint with this Paperwhite cover, could be solved if the plastic side of the cover had the same cut-out for the charge port and off/on button on the top, as it has on the bottom. This would enable it to accept the Paperwhite upside down, which would make for an easy left-hand hold with the hand strap. This would also place the strap in a position easiest to use for those with small hands. The second complaint is unless one has a gargantuan hand, or holds the cover with two hands, while reading lying on ones back, the heavier Kindle side can easily fall forward towards your face. A snap or a magnet closure connecting the two sections would prevent that. Also, the flexible spine allows the heavier Kindle side to skew, causing one to twist their wrist to keep the print straight - not very ergonomic for long reading sessions. Another problem - the magnet has come out of its slot, preventing proper closure of the cover, which drains the battery when the Kindle turns on by itself, intermittently. This doesnt happen with the cover left open, but then that negates the reason for a protective cover when carried in a purse or backpack. I have a Marware easel-style cover for the old Kindle Keyboard. The cover flips over the top and is held to the second section at the bottom with a well-made elastic band, with a handstrap on the back for easy one-handed use with either hand. One can also stand it up like an easel, while following recipes. I have yet to find a similar style for the Paperwhite. Ive threatened to remove the leather side of the Swees cover and just slide the plastic side with the Paperwhite into the Marware cover - it fits! Other than the above points, the overall quality of the cover holds up really well. The stitching is still tight and unfrayed with daily handling over the past ten months, and the leather, front and back, is unscratched after being carried around in a purse. The elastic hand strap is actually not as useful as you might think - when you open the case and flip the cover around to the back of the Kindle, there is nothing to secure the front flap to the back. So whether or not you are using the hand strap, you still have to support the device with both your thumb and 4 fingers. Its marginally useful if you spend a lot of time reading while laying down with the kindle directly above your head. If this case had a magnet on the back of the case as well as the front, it would be a 5-star item. I bought a pair of Sony Bluetooth headphones almost two years ago for my now twelve year old daughter, and I was so impressed with them that I decided to buy this pair after checking out all of the positive reviews. Well, the majority of reviews were spot-on. These things put out very good sound and I was most happy to hear that the bass was not overpowering. (That was my biggest fear before purchase). The battery life on these headphones is excellent, as well as the charging time. The fit is superb. Although they may be marketed as "on ear", they are nearly "over the ear" phones, and, very comfortable I might add. The cans arent too big and they arent too small....they are just right. (Funny, where have I heard that before?) They have virtually no sound leakage either (yes, sounds weird, but really, the person on the side of you wont hear all of your jam), which is especially good for those long airplane flights or bus rides. And last but not least, the price is right. At under one hundred dollars they simply cant be Beat(s). (No pun intended) Do yourself a favor,....stop racking your brain reading all these reviews, and buy these very good sounding, stylish, easy to use, easy to connect-to-Bluetooth, Bluetooth headphones. I think these are the best bluetooth headphones for 100 bucks. Sony did a great job on these. Pros: 30 hours battery Nice design NFC pairing (just hold your phone to the NFC sign and it will automatically connect to them every time, even if the headphones are off) Great bluetooth range (can walk around my apartment and the connection does not suffer anywhere) They sound really good. Better than my beats headphones. No cons for me. Now if you compare them to the XB950s there are some differences. I believe they both have their pros and cons. The XB650s have these things over the XB950s: Better design. These are much smaller and they dont look like huge earmuffs like the 950s. 30 hours battery life compared to the 20 hours on the XB950s. Lighter in weight compared to the XB950s. These actually tell you the battery level compared to the XB950s which you have to look at confusing light pulses. Better balanced sound and still has a lot of bass. The XB950s have these things over the XB650s: It has an AUX port if you decide not to use bluetooth. The XB650s do not have an AUX port. It has an "extra bass" button and the XB650s do not. Sound is a tiny bit louder than the XB650s. Overall I think the XB650s are better. The aux port that the 950s have is not a big deal to me because my laptop and phone have bluetooth. Also, the aux port on the 950s only work with that specific aux cable that it comes with. The headphones design makes it so that other aux cables will not be able to fit in the slot. The Extra bass boost button on the 950s are also not a big deal to me. The 950s without the bass boost already sound really bass heavy and the button is just overkill. And I like bass. I mostly listen to hiphop too so its not like I am a person listening to classical music. I do like that the 950s are a little bit louder. But its not a real big difference and definitely not enough of a difference for me to choose the 950s over the 650s. I would say that the 650s are bass heavy headphones and the 950s are a little bit too much even without the bass boost on. Overall, the smaller look, the longer battery life, the more balanced sound are all reasons why I chose the 650s over the 950s. And the 650s are 98 bucks right now on amazon. Definitely worth the money. Ive had the 950s for since around Christmas so about 5 months and they have been my main headphones until now that I got the 650s. I just really did not like how the 950s look like huge earmuffs on your head. They also felt heavy while wearing them. The 650s took care of these issues and are now my go to headphones. My wife has a pair of the 950s that I really liked (bass is ridiculous but better to have too much and EQ it out). Unfortunately the 950s cost $200 and I just didnt feel like going there for my sometimes-y listening. I saw these for $130 and while still above what I wanted to spend, they had a pair at the store in a listening kiosk and I was blown away. They actually sounded better balanced than the 950s (which were also in the kiosk) yet still churned out tons of bass. Here are my explained thoughts: Build Quality (B): "Very" lightweight with a metal band connecting the cans via a sandwich of generic plastic that have decent adjustability. The cups can swivel 180 deg so you can lay them around your neck in a little more comfort or store them flat. They dont feel expensive but dont look cheap. I got black cause Im not flashy but saw the blue and red and they certainly show off some of the design elements better. Fit, Comfort, Operation (A): I usually prefer over-the-ear headphones but these on-the-ear phones do an amazing job of creating a seal that keeps bleed in or out very low. They are very lightweight so fatigue should not be an issue and theres no pressure points on the ears or on the top of the head. The controls are all on the right cup and work smoothly and provide great feedback. Uses standard micro USB for charging. This set does not have a wired option like the 950. I have not run the battery down as I charge it every other night I use it and I probably never will if it gets even close to the 30 hours of battery advertised. Sound (A): The most important part. There is a strong V profile to all these "ExtraBass" headsets and some people may be bothered by this colored sound but it does a good job of presenting you good amounts of everything from low to high. The bass is strong but not silly like the 950s are capable of. I did EQ everything from 125Hz down by -3db to get to my taste. Highs and mids are crisp and clean and overall reproduction should sound great most ears. Time will tell how well they hold up but the sound is amazing, comfort is high and the price (at least for me) was very reasonable. I did not purchase from Amazon (had store credit for a return). While searching for it, however, I came across Ankers newest entry, the SoundCore Sport XL. Given the price, my general satisfaction with Anker, and Amazons solid return policy, I decided to give both speakers a try. Ill note that the SoundCore Sport XL is probably more comparable to the JBL Charge 2 given that both units have a USB port to let you charge your phone or other device. The Flip 3 doesnt have charging output port. If you want the shortest possible answer: Were keeping the Flip 3 and giving the SoundCore XL as a gift. But it was almost a coin toss about which was going to stay. Sound: I wanted this speaker to have enough volume for modest outdoor gatherings (both meet that criteria, though the Flip 3 is probably a touch louder) and sound good enough that I wouldnt mind having it playing in the house. Im also biased against todays tendency for consumer speakers to emphasize bass response over every other frequency range. If you like your music boom-y, Im not going to like the same speakers that you will. My wife and I listened to each of them across a wide range of music from classical to folk to hip-hop to pop to hard rock, trying to get a sense of which we liked better. The answer, as it turned out, was "it depends." The Flip 3 is definitely not as "flat" audibly as the SoundCore. Within the limits of what you can do with a small speaker, the Flip seems to emphasize the bass and treble ends of the spectrum more. High treble even sounded unnaturally "sizzly" for a couple songs. In others, the vocalist almost seemed a bit buried under the rest of the mix--though never disturbingly so. (Were talking nuance here, and your ears may have a different experience.) The SoundCore is definitely more flat sounding. It doesnt produce as much bass as the Flip, but thats not necessarily a bad thing, and it never had the sizzling issue in the treble. It just sounds...even. People used to the punchy sound emphasized by consumer speaker and headphone manufacturers, however, may find that the music lacks a bit of life. Which did we prefer? Ultimately it depended on what we were playing. Folk, country and music from the 70s and 80s that clearly was mixed with the intent of playing over the radio we often preferred on the SoundCore. More current pop, rock, and hip-hop sounded better to us on the JBL. In the final count, the JBL came out on top, but not by much. Ive been listening to both for a few days now, switching back and forth every so often, and I find that Im inclined toward the JBL, but I certainly dont mind the SoundCore. Size and Build: The SoundCore Sport XL is about 7 x 3 x 1.75 inches and wrapped in what feels like very sturdy, slightly rubbery plastic. Its definitely heavy in your hand and makes you feel confident that it can hold up to some rigorous outdoor use. The biggest issue with the design is that I found myself constantly grabbing into the bass port on the back, which includes a metal cover over a stretchy membrane for a passive woofer. I have no idea if pushing on the cover would damage the passive woofer, but it was disconcerting. The Flip 3 is 6.5 x 2.5 inches and covered in a dense fabric with hard plastic ends. Its slightly lighter in the hand, and the cylindrical shape makes it more comfortable to pick up and carry around. It feels solidly built if not quite as tank-like as the SoundCore. Never before has someone created this combination of size, sound quality, loudness, bass response, splash proof all for only $99! I have previously owned UE boom, Denon Envaya mini and JBL charge plus 2. These are the Flip 3s closest competitors. Here is my summary of the competition. UE boom: the reason I believe the UE boom is so popular is the form factor is just right and its loud for its size. What I dont like about the UE Boom is its $200 price tag and almost no bass whatsoever. Denon Envaya Mini: so close, I just wish it was louder and the battery would only last a few hours a moderate volumes. JBL Charge 2+: overall really good speaker, my two issues are, the sound profile is too bloated. Yes it has good bass for its side but it tends to drown out the higher frequencies and has quite a bit of dynamic compression at high volumes. Also I just wish it was a little smaller to fit in camping chair cup holders and more portable. And now for the JBL flip 3: its as loud as the UE boom, does not have the battery life issues of the Denon and does not have bloated bass like the charge 2+. The sound profile is well balanced, the upper frequencies are slightly upfront with decent bass for its size. My prediction, this will be the best selling Bluetooth speaker in its class! Confirmed excellent flat frequency response. See attached image for nearfield measurement of the Flip 3 (green), Flip 4 (purple), and Envaya Mini (gray).
